The pounding of footsteps echoes through the halls of the Highschool. Panting and sobs were loud enough for everyone to hear in the tiny classrooms. The cries sounded painful and horrible.

Lapis ran to the girls bathroom, and slammed her fists into the brick walls. Her knuckles dripped with fresh blood that rolled down her hand and to the floor. Her teeth were clenched, Lapis tried to control herself but it was no use. All she could do was cry about everything and everyone. She didn't care to wipe her wet eyes with the sleeve of her jacket or to take care of her wounded stomach. Lapis
didn't care about all the physical pain because the only thing that mattered to her was that she lost the only person in the world who cared about her.

Lapis:(cough) Pe- Peridot... 💔
(holds stomach and winces)
Ah!
(wheezes)

At Police Station...

Garnet sat in her comfy leather chair looking at some files. She was searching more about that kidnapper who tried to hurt Connie and Steven. The chief was in shock to find that enemy was a wanted criminal and that she never did finish Highschool. Garnet adjusted her shades and went back to reading more. The more she read, the more grateful she was that the enemy was now in prison. If that crazy criminal was still out there, she could of done major damage. Garnet's mind then started to drift back to what the criminal said to her back at the barn.

(Garnet)
"Why are you doing this?!"

"Pearl owes me!
She owes me everything!"

(Garnet)
"What does she owe you?!"

"Her life"

Garnet: (shudder slightly)
What did Pearl do this time?

Pearl. She's acted very strange a few nights ago. She avoided Garnet's question and had a nightmare afterward. What bothered her?
And why did she not want to tell Garnet?

Garnet rubbed her head in frustration.
No, Pearl trusted Garnet and she loved her!
Why would she be keeping secrets? When Pearl is ready she'll come straight to her and explain everything!Garnet tried to shake the random thoughts from her mind and tried to think positive.All that matters is that Pearl came back. She's been trying to mend their relationship by small loving pieces. Even if she did change, Garnet could still tell that Pearl's old self was still in her. That same loving, kind, beautiful teenage girl she knew back in the past was just buried a long time ago. Since then, Garnet's been digging to find some answers. She wasn't going to give up on her no matter what! Garnet smiled to herself, with the bad thoughts behind her now.

Garnet: (digs through pocket and places the necklace on the table in front of her)
I, Garnet Granite, am in love with Pearl Stone Water for all eternity!

Garnet is interrupted by the phone ringing. She picks up the phone and answers.

Garnet: This is Officer Garnet!
(listens)
AN ATTEMPT OF SUICIDE?!
WHERE?!
FUSION HIGH-SCHOOL?!
WE'LL BE THERE RIGHT AWAY!
(slams phone)
