The next day Omen woke up and teleported so he was near the school and he transformed so he was human. He met up with Richard and they went to class, not even ten minutes later both he and Richard were called to the principal's office. Danny had a feeling that he knew what it was about, he wasn't sure why Richard was called when he didn't do anything wrong.

Maybe he was called because he was a witness, he wouldn't be surprised if that's what he was called for. When the two walked into the office Danny raised an eyebrow, the six people that had bullied him were there along with at least one parent each. Bruce was also there, he was likely called because Richard was involved, Danny was glad he didn't have parents.

Well technically he did but they had disowned him when he was four so he was practically an orphan. The principle asked them to sit and they both did, Danny crossed his arms and legs after he sat. The principle looked at him and Richard, "These young boys said that you two cornered Justin and beat him up before Daniel broke his nose."

Danny rolled his eyes, "One, people call me Danny, two that's not even remotely true."

"Danny, I understand that your situation is-"

"Don't give me that bullshit, my 'situation' has nothing to do with this so don't act like it does."

The newly named Justin was about to speak but his mother was quicker, "You're lying, you broke my sons nose."

Danny looked at her, "If you'll stop squawking and wait for two fucking seconds I might be able to change your mind." Justin's mother looked offended but Danny looked at the principle, "Can I borrow your computer for a second?"

The principle gave him a strange look but Bruce nodded and the principle turned it toward Danny. His hands flew across the keyboard before several things popped up and Danny turned the screen towards the principle. "You might want to take a look at this before you run your mouth again."

Danny pressed a key and the principle looked stunned, Danny smirked and glanced at the jocks who didn't look to confident right now. "That was just yesterday," He pressed another button, "These are from the past, oh let's see, three weeks give or take." Danny was currently showing the principle the security camera footage, he saw the camera on his first day.

Danny leaned back in his seat and crossed his arms again, "As you can see this whole group was lying their asses off."

The principle blinked, "Based on this compelling evidence I can say without a doubt that Danny and Richard aren't at fault here."

Justin's mother looked outraged, "What? This disrespectful child walks in and shows you a few things before you suddenly believe him?"

Danny looked at her, "Respect is earned and so far the only thing you've earned is the title of bitchy mother." Justin's mother tried to talk but Danny cut her off, "As for what I showed him that's quite simple. I showed him the the security camera footage to show him what really happened."

All of the jocks faces turned white within seconds and Danny smirked again, "You should really check for cameras if you want to corner someone at their locker."

The principle cleared his throat to get their attention, "Based on this footage I can clearly see that over half the football team injured Danny. Richard stepped in and Danny stepped in to defend him when Justin tried to punch him, in other words, Danny acted in self defense. Because of that I'm suspending all of you," he gestured towards the jocks, "For two weeks, I'll also be having a talk with your coach."

"I'll be going through the security footage to see if anymore incidents like this have happened. As for Danny and Richard they are free to go, I'd like to talk to both of you later but you can go back to class for now."

The two got up and walked out of the office before going back to class, Danny was just glad that he didn't have to deal with that anymore. The rest of the day went by without much happening, classes were boring and Danny got bored. At the end of the day he said goodbye to Richard like he usually did and this time he didn't get beat up.

Danny hid and transformed before he teleported, he sighed and was glad that he was Omen once again. He did his homework before he started watching TV, not even halfway through the episode he got a call from Batman. He teleported to the mountain and when Batman showed up he made the lights flicker and he appeared.

"What is it this time?"

"The team has a mission and your going with them."

Omen looked at him for a minute, "If this is a stupid mission that they don't actually need help with like last time I will be pissed." Batman ignored him and gave them their mission, Omen grabbed his laptop from home in case he needed something to do. They left not long after he got back and Omen worked on his laptop the whole time, none of them asked what he was doing.

They knew that he probably wouldn't tell them so they just left him alone while he typed away on the keyboard. When they got to where they were supposed to be the team left and Omen got a call from his little bird. "Let me guess, it's a giant slug and you need me to stop it from getting slime on you."

"No, it's a giant fire monster and we need you to help us before it burns us to death."

"I'm on my way." Omen hung up and he flew out of the bio-ship as quickly as he could, he was flying above a forest which was currently on fire. Omen used his ice powers to put out most of the flames and he flew to the source of the fire outbreak.

Omen flew high above the trees and saw the flame monster, it seemed to be growing the more it burnt things. Omen flew down right as it sent a fireball at the downed martian and atlantean, he created a shield around them before the fire hit them. Omen glared at the fire monster, "Hey smoke breath!"

The fire monster looked at him and he smirked, "Come and get me!" The fire monster turned it's attention away from the heroes and started attacking Omen, he dodged the attacks like it was nothing. Omen formed an ice dome around them so they wouldn't be affected by the heat and Megan woke up not long after.

Megan established a mind link with the team and Omen, 'What happened?'

Artemis answered, 'You and Aqualad were being affected by the fire, we called Omen and he's fighting the fire monster.'

'What about the ice?'

Omen dodged a fireball, 'A gift from yours truly, it's a fusion of ectoplasm and ice, it'll protect you from getting hurt and from the heat.'

Kid Flash had a strange look on his face, 'Thanks?'

'Wow, you made a thank you sound like a question, I can do nice things sometimes you know. I'm- holy shit!'

The heroes were all a bit shocked, 'What happened?' Robin asked.

'A fireball almost hit me, this thing is tougher and smarter then it looks- mother fucker!'

Aqualad actually looked concerned, 'What's wrong?'

'Fight now talk later.' Omen was silent after that, they heard roars from the fire monster but that was it, a few minutes later the ice disappeared. Omen was blasting things with ice to put the fires out and the fire monster was gone, there were ashes encased in ice on the ground though. Once Omen put out the last of the fires he landed on the ground, "I hate fire monsters."

The young heroes saw that Omen had several burns from where he was probably hit. There was one on his stomach, right arm, and on his legs, his clothes were burned and the burns looked like they hurt. Another thing that bothered them was that they could see some of Omen's scars where his clothes had been burnt but his skin wasn't.

Omen huffed, "Let's go, I don't want to deal with anymore fires." Omen got rid of all of the ice he made and he flew away to get to the ship, the others weren't far behind him. Once they got on the ship Omen sat down and they got to the mountain as fast as they could so Omen could treat his wounds.

Once they got to the mountain the team had Omen go to the medical wing while Aqualad called Batman. After less then five minutes Batman showed up at the mountain and he headed toward the medical wing. Batman opened the door before anyone could stop him and Omen looked at him with a slightly irritated look.

His shirt and coat were on a nearby chair and he had already bandaged up his stomach and was taking care of his arm. The scars that weren't covered by bandages were visible, the dissection scars and ones from other experiments and forms of torture showed clears as day. Omen huffed, "You need to fucking knock!"

Batman's eyes widened when he saw the scars, there was hardly a part of his skin where there wasn't a scar. Batman closed the door and Omen growled before he took care of the rest of his wounds and put his clothes back on.

Omen walked out of the medical wing and he crossed his arms once he saw Batman. "What the fuck was so important that you couldn't even knock?"

"You got multiple burns from fighting a fire monster."

Omen shrugged, "Well it's not the worst reason, so can I go home or do I have to deal with some sort of lecture."

"You just have to stay for a few more minutes." Omen listened to Batman talk to the team for several minutes before he was allowed to go home. Omen teleported but he didn't go to the haunt, he decided to wander the streets of Gotham for a bit, it might have been raining but that didn't bother him, the rain never did.
