Part 1: New
Ink POV
I woke up Pj and Gradient for breakfast. Gradient was easiest to wake up but Pj always gave me a fight.
I picked him up and put him on the couch. He groaned.
"Ma i was comfy...." he grunted.
I shrugged and began breakfast. Error had helped me learn how to safely use a stove without burning my entire arm.
It took me a while but I finally got it done and called them to the kitchen.
Pj begrudgingly walked to the table. Gradient stayed on the couch. He was watching my old x-file DVD's.
I smiled. Yep. That's definitely my kid.
Gradient POV
"Gradient honey come eat!" Mama called.
I kept watching but I am hungry.
"But mama, Scully and Mulder are just about to solve the case!" I whined.
"You can finish it when you're done eating." She said.
Pj groggily ate his breakfast. Dad was already at work. He'll be home at three. Like always.
That's part of our schedule. That's always the time he comes home.
Except when he has meetings. Those days I get real anxious.
Our weekday schedule was pretty plain. Mama wakes us up, makes breakfast, and then we have lessons.
First history, math, and English we learn an hour for each. Then she makes us lunch. And then it's art and science then writing.
And dad comes home an hour after writing.
Pj hates lessons but I don't mind them. Especially because mama teaches us.
"Ugh can't we go to a real school for sixth grade?" Pj complained.
Mama seemed to be shocked as she didn't move for a few seconds.
"W...why?" She asked.
"I wanna make friends. And I know this is the last day before summer but, I think a middle school will be fun!" He said.
My soul dropped. I don't want to go to a school. Mama is here.
"Plus, dad works at the one by our house. We'll still have a trusted adult ma I'm begging you. Please." He pleaded.
Mama sighed.
"I'll....I'll think about it." She mumbled.
Pj seemed satisfied at this. I however was terrified. I can't go to school!
No! I need my mama! I was worried about it the entire day.
Even during art. They have three months to make up their mind. Oh please don't make me go.
Pj POV
Gradients been acting weird all day. Ever since that school talk.
I thought he wanted to go. I mean, I'm lonely here so I thought he was to. I can't wait to make friends!
Error came home early. Like, before lunch. Ma hugged him and Gradient stayed shaking in his place.
I just thought about asking him. Later though. I'm trying to learn shit.
After lunch though our lessons seemed to be over. Gradient clung to ma as she talked to Error about what I'd said.
He seemed excited. Gradient however was not.
He looked at mom. Ma just hugged him and went to take Penny for a walk. Grey of course went with her.
"Error, why's Grey so upset?" I asked.
"I think he's just worried. I'm sure he'll be fine by the first day."
Grey avoided me the rest of the day. I felt kinda bad about it but oh well. He can't stay mad forever.
