Jin's P.O.V.

I sat on my usual place in the basement.

"I'll come back soon, just wait here." Hyejin said and left me alone in the basement. I quickly got up and started looking for any possible way to get out.

Is there no window here? Oh wait...it's a basement.

I sighed. I feel terrible for not being there. Because of me, my team members have to suffer.

All I knew at that point of time was that I was letting all my team mates down. All of them wanted to debut so bad!

While I was stilling fighting with myself, I suddenly got an urge to go to the bathroom.

Carefully, I opened the basement door and followed the place where Hyejin had taken me yesterday. Remember that bathroom incident? I can never forget it.

I was walking casually but something caught my attention.

There was a big door beside me and I could hear very loud noises, as if somebody was scolding someone. I'll be dead if I get found out.

I started walking but stopped again. I heard a familiar voice from inside which made me go closer to the door. I peaked with one of my eyes.

"I am really sorry sir." I saw Hyejin say.

"You are sorry?! That's it, you are sorry?!" The fat guy, who was scolding Hyejin, shouted.

"Sir, I apologise on her behalf. I am very sorry, this won't happen again." Joseph said, as if he was defending Hyejin. So Joseph is a good guy?

"It has been 2 days since you have kidnapped that bum, you guys have made no freaking progress with him!" He shouted again. Bum? Who is Bum?

They stayed silent.

The fat man faced towards Hyejin again.

"You.." he looked at Hyejin from head to toe. "You were at his freaking house yesterday, you had a golden opportunity! Why didn't you complete the mission Min Hyejin!" He shouted at her which made her flinch. She looked down towards her feet. I have never seen her like thi- wait. The mission wasn't cancelled?!

"You are useless. I literally gave you another life after that fucking midget you were after killed your parents! You fucking owe me and this is what I get?!" He shouted and slapped Hyejin mercilessly. The fuck! He just slapped a girl?!

"Sir, it wasn't you. It was Daniel who had saved me." Hyejin looked at the fat guy with a strong gaze.

"What did you say?!" The fat guy raises his hand again but instead of Hyejin, Joseph was the one who had gotten slapped. Joseph took the slap for her!

"S-Sir! Please! We will work harder, we promise!" Joseph pleaded and the fat guy sighed.

"Take this girl somewhere far away from my site." The fat guy said.

He nodded and grabbed Hyejin's hand.

Oh shit, they are coming!

I quickly hid behind a dustbin beside the door. I think that I was barely not visible but since it was a basement, it was dark.

Hyejin and Joseph came out of the room and shut the door they came out from. Hyejin bursted out crying. She is crying...I don't like to see this.

Joseph hugged her tightly. Asshole get off her!!

"Hyejin," Joseph said. "Let's be strong okay?" He said and Hyejin nodded.

"But seriously though.." he broke their embrace. "Why didn't you steal the documents? You do know that they are very important, right? Without them, we are literally nothing! I mean, you did have the golden opportunity." Joseph asked Hyejin. So she lied about the mission being cancelled?

"I-I don't know.." Hyejin stammered. "When I saw Jin, I could see that he was disappointed. He was disappointed that we were going to steal." Hyejin said. You actually thought about me?

"Since when did you started caring about what he feels?" Joseph scoffed.

"I don't..I really don't care about what he thinks." Hyejin said. Well, now I am disappointed.

"But...to be honest," Hyejin said. "I was disappointed by myself. I-I mean, I was never this girl! I was an honour student who had a perfect life! I was popular and had good friends." She choked on breath. "When did I become into this mess?!" She exclaimed and started crying. Joseph consoled her. So she wasn't like this before?

"Let's go wash your face, shall we?" Joseph said kindly and went towards the washroom.

I started walking opposite to them, back to the room in which I was kept. I sat on my usual place again.

Okay bitch, I am confused.

So apparently, Hyejin didn't complete our mission yesterday which means that she didn't want to steal so she is a good person.

Before she joined this gang, she was an honour student and was very popular.

And some fucking midget she was after killed her parents.

What the hell?

I buried my face into my knees. Now I am even more confused. All of the pee that I had to do made its way up back again because of this confusion.

After 10 minutes, Hyejin came back to the room.

"I hope that you weren't mischievous and attempted to get out." She said, strictly. So she is just going to pretend that nothing happened?

"Nope, I was still as a stone." I lied.

"Hmm.." she hmmed and sat on her usual place, across the room on a chair. She closed her eyes.

She just keeps making me more curious about her.

"Hey, Hyejin." I said.

"Hmm?" She hmmed.

"Do you have a crush currently?" I asked her and her eyes shot wide open.

"No?" She said.

"Have you ever had a crush? Or wait..crush is a very small word. Have you ever fallen in love?" I asked her with puppy dog eyes so that she won't get angry on me.

She just looked at me with a look of disbelief and didn't say anything.

"I take that as a yes. Who was he?" I asked her and she scoffed.

"Why do you care?" She asked me.

"Because I am curious?" I said honestly.

"Don't get curious about him." She closed her eyes again. "He was a jerk."

"Was he a midget?" I asked her and her eyes shot wide open again.

"Where did you hear that from!?" She exclaimed. I shouldn't have said that, shit!

"Urm..w-well I might have overheard some conversations?" I said with my puppy dog eyes again.

"Don't do that dog eye thing, it doesn't work on a girl like me!" She scolded me and sighed.

"How did you even get out of this room?" She asked me.

"The room wasn't locked, genius. And I had to go to the washroom." I said.

She thought something for a minute and suddenly parted her lips so say something.

"How much did you hear?" She asked.

"Only the midget part, I swear!" I lied.

"Well I am surprised," she said. "Did you not feel curious? If I were you, I would have stayed there during the entire conversation." She said.

"I am curious, that is why I am asking you to tell me about that midget." I said and she glared at me.

Her glare softened up as she looked at me.

Hyejin's P.O.V.

Damn it, his puppy dog glare sure does work. I...I can't deny it.

"Don't stare at me like this! Be grateful that I haven't tied you up!" I hissed at him.

"That sounded a little Ahem-Ahem in mind." He winked at me.

"That's it!" I said as I got up from my seat and tied his hands and legs. He did try to protest but I was trained for 2 years which means that his protests were all waste.

"There! You won't speak now." I said.

"But you haven't tied up my mouth. I will still speak." He said and my eyes widened up. How could I forget this?!

I took a cloth and tied his mouth too.

"There! Now you won't speak." I grinned.

"Mmbut ymmhou hamve tmmo tmmem mhe!" He exclaimed and I kicked the wall beside him in frustration.

"Aarghh! Just how much do you speak?!" I exclaimed.

"Jummst temml mhe ammlreamhdy." He made noises which cringed me.

I removed the cloth from his mouth.

"Speak." I said.

"Tell me about him." He said and I sighed.

What the hell!

"Dude, NO!" I hissed at him.

"But doesn't Joseph already know though?" He asked me.

"Yeah, he kno-wait. How do you know that Joseph knows about it?!" I exclaimed.

"I..urm..I might have stayed there for a little longer...oops." He showed me an apologetic smile.
