Tonight is Thursday Night Smackdown, Last Monday, I made things clear that me and Roman are done.. I'm done trying to be the only one wanting us back together, I'm done being attacked by Carmella.. I am just done.. Tonight I have the night off, thankfully.. So I'm just hanging around with Brie, talking about her plans for her and Dean's one year wedding anniversary, which is on Saturday. "So have you two decided what you wanted to do?" She nodded "Yea.. We decided to just be normal and got to a restaurant with friends.. Nothing too fancy." "Oh I like that.. Simple, yet amazing." "Yea.. So are you coming alone?" I smiled "Um, I don't know.. I might.. I'm thinking about asking Finn but I'm not sure he's up for it." She shrugged "I don't know.. I think you should, considering he asked you out last time.." I shook my head "I don't know." "Why? Didn't you enjoy yourself at lunch with Finn?" "Of course I did.. It's just.." "It's just Roman." "Yeah" She nodded "Niks, you aren't doing anything wrong.. It's just a gathering with friends.. It's not like you're sleeping with the guy.. You deserve to go out and enjoy yourself." "I guess you're right.. Okay, I'll ask him." "Good, I think Finn is gonna be a nice dinner buddy." I chuckled as we walked to catering.. We sat at our regular table as I saw Finn talking to Sami.. "Oh there he is now.. Should I do it right now?" She looked at me "Duh.. Now's your chance." I nodded.. I turned my head and saw Dean and Roman walking into catering.. I grabbed Brie's hand "Slight problem." "What?" "Roman is here." She rolled her eyes.. "Look at me, you go with your head held high and you ask that Balor out to dinner.. Don't worry about Roman.. He'll get over it." I nodded and got up from my chair.. I walked with my head straight as I walked past Dean and Roman.. I felt eyes on my back as I approached Finn.. I placed my hand on his lower back. "Hey Finn." He looked at me and smiled. "Hi Nicole, how are you?" I smiled "I'm good.. I was wondering if you were free Saturday night? My sister and her husband are celebrating their one year wedding anniversary and I would love it if you could accompany me." He nodded "Of course.. I'll pick you at 8:00, Saturday night?" "Sounds great." I kissed his cheek before turning around and walking back to the catering table.
