"Shut up, Colby! Don't you understand?! Not everything is about you! Just because you've been feeling off lately doesn't mean I can't hang out with my girlfriend!" Sam shouted angrily at the taller brunette, receiving angered looks.
"No, Sam! Don't you understand?! I haven't been fine for the last four months! You've been way too busy with your girlfriend to notice! Look, I have nothing against her, but cmon! I'm scared to even be around myself, Sam!" Colby shouted back with emotion heavily spreading through his voice. Tears were on the verge of falling from Colby's deep blue eyes. Sam scoffed before gritting his teeth, about to burst through emotion with his words full of hatred and denial.
"You know what, Colby? Fuck you! You can't handle being alone, can't you?! Honestly, maybe I should just leave you for a few weeks! You're making me fucking miserable, Colby! Just go fucking die!-" Sam covered his mouth with his hands while his eyes widened. Colby's eyes widened as well as tears started to fall from his face and onto the cold wooden floor. Colby then shook his head while staring at Sam before sprinting up the stairs without a word, Sam staying with shock and guilt all over his face. He just wasn't thinking straight! He wasn't thinking at all...
Sam sighed, walking outside and to Katrina's car. Sam was supposed to go on a date with her tonight and she was already waiting outside for him, but Colby was going through something and came to Sam... but it just started in a heated argument. Sam opened the door and smiled at his beautiful girlfriend, jumping in the front seat beside her.
"Hey, baby," Sam greeted, kissing her on the cheek which made Katrina smile brighter.
"Hey, babe, how was your day?" She asked, staring into Sam's beautiful blue orbs. Sam frowned slightly and looked away, staring at the ground in slight shame. Katrina looked at Sam with sympathy, wondering what made the poor blonde sad.
"I got into a fight with Colby when you arrived, that's why I told you I would be a little late..." Sam said, looking out the car window towards the house that shared all the beautiful memories with Colby and the others.
"Oh, baby..." Katrina cooed, frowning at Sam in sympathy. Sam looked at Katrina with a frown and sighed, shaking his head slightly in shame. "What was the fight about?.." Katrina asked cautiously. Sam lowered his head and stared at the ground again, trying to fight off tears.
"He... uhm, he told me he was struggling and that he wasn't feeling well mentally and he needed me... but I was frustrated because I had a date with you so I got super mad at him and started to shout... It just didn't go well." Sam mumbled, looking back up at Katrina. She gave Sam a worried look, seeming to know there was something he wasn't telling her. Sam looked over to the house again, but this time he stared at Colby's window. Something felt off. Why wasn't his room light on?
"Babe, what did you say... exactly? Something just seems off," Kat asked with a bit of demand in her voice. Sam sighed and looked back at her, staring into her romantic brown eyes, the ones he loved so dearly.
"I-I... told Colby to die... but- but I didn't mean it! I- I was just frustrated-" Sam got cut off by Katrina's voice,
"What?! You know Colby's mental health isn't the greatest and you told him to kill himself?!" Katrina shouted, making Sam feel even less about himself. The fact that Katrina was worried means that Sam should be even more worried for his other half, his brother. Sam felt horrible and Katrina was making it worse. But, then again, maybe she was right. Why did Sam do that? Being frustrated was exactly an excuse for telling your best friend, who's struggling, to kill themself.
"Fuck, Sam! Remember last time?!" Katrina yelled at Sam, begging him to go check on Colby. Sam thought for a moment. What did happen last time? Once the question he asked himself was answered his eyes widened in realization. This wasn't good.
"Fuck! Katrina, we have to go back in there!" Sam shouted, opening the car door and running outside. Sam ran and unlocked the door, opening it in a hurry. The door slammed against the wall as he ran up the stairs and into Colby's room. Katrina followed behind Sam, looking through the doorway to see no Colby.
"Fuck, fuck, fuck..." Sam cursed under his breath as he ran towards the bathroom, which was locked. Katrina was already calling an ambulance, knowing what was happening.
"Colby! Colby, I'm sorry! Please, open the door!" Sam begged, banging on the door rapidly. He never hated locks more than he did at this moment. Sam heard a quiet sob from the other side, making his heart sink in his chest.
"Colby! Please, don't do this! I love you, bro!" Sam shouted banging on the door rapidly. Sam's eyes watered heavily as he heard the sound of gagging and a bottle drop. Sam then kicked the door, breaking it open. The door lay on the floor as so did Colby. Colby was on his side, eyes closed with a pill bottle next to his limp body.
"Colby!!" Sam sobbed, running toward the limp body on the ground. Sam shook Colby quickly on the shoulders, trying to get a response from the brunette.
"Stay with me! Dude, please! Stay with me!!" Sam cried, cradling the limp body in his arms. He didn't get a single response from the brunette like he hoped he would, making hope drain in his chest. Sam sobbed, louder and louder.
"Colby! Colby, please! I love you, dude!! Please! I'm sorry!!" Sam sobbed, holding his best friend's body closer to his chest. He checked for a pulse, but it was very faint. Sam's tears and screams drowned out his girlfriend in the background. All Sam could focus on was Colby, his other half. Katrina tried to pull Sam away from Colby, but he was too determined. There were sirens in the background, but nothing stopped Sam from holding his best friend one last time.
"Colby... please! Dude, please!! Come back!! I'm so sorry!! I-I didn't mean it!!" Choked sobs came from Sam's mouth as the paramedics rushed in, trying to take Colby away from him.
"No! No, no, no! Don't take him away from me!! Please! He's everything I have!!" Sam pleaded, but the paramedics didn't want to listen to Sam's pleas, so they finally took him away. Sam screamed as he watched Colby's body being dragged away from him, reaching his arm out to grab him but failing miserably.
"Sir, please calm down..." One of the paramedics asked, putting a light hand on Sam's shoulder. Sam wouldn't listen as he sobbed harder and harder, not noticing his girlfriend's arms around him.
He would never forget that night.

Sam never thought he would be here, at his other half's funeral. He stayed after the funeral, just to talk to Colby's gravestone. Sam sat in front of his grave, sitting comfortably as the rain fell onto his blonde hair, drenching his suit as well.
"I'm so sorry..." Sam mumbled, tears leaving his blue orbs. "I-I want you back, dude... please... tell me this was all a prank!" Sam pleaded, looking at Colby's name. 'Colby Brock 1997 - 2017'. Sam sobbed harder, falling onto the ground on his hands and knees in front of Colby's grave.
"Colby, I'm so sorry... I didn't mean it!" Sam cried, still sobbing.
Once Sam calmed down, he lay there in the rain beside Colby. He didn't know Colby was beside him but that's only because he couldn't see or hear him. Colby lay beside Sam with beautiful white wings and a beaming halo, which Sam couldn't see.
Sam slowly sat up, looking around him. There was nothing there.
"It's not your fault, Sam." Sam heard a familiar voice say. Was he going crazy?
"Colby?.." Sam called out, looking over to Colby's grave, which was covered in various flowers.
"Sam, dude, I love you too. Keep the channel going and I'll be there every step of the way. I forgive you for the fight, don't worry man." Sam cried harder.
"I love you, man! I'm so sorry!" Sam shouted out into the air, getting no response this time.
Sam stayed there for the rest of the night.
Sam stayed there the next day.
Sam stayed there for the next two days.
Sam stayed there for the next three days.
Sam eventually joined him.
They couldn't be separated.
"Sam and Colby V.S the world."
