"Maybe we should just let fate handle Y/N's dates from now on." Sunmi states.

You had just told her and Seulgi about the whole encounter with Felix a few hours ago.

"You actually believe in that bullshit?" Seulgi questions while staring over at her.

"You don't?" Sunmi questions. Seulgi merely rolls her eyes.

"You're telling me that you believe some random force in the universe is going to dictate our lives?" she questions while looking over at Sunmi.

"Honestly, yeah. There are so many things that wouldn't have happened without fate." She states. Seulgi immediately shakes her head and face palms herself.

You look back and forth between the two, glad that you're part of this debate going on about fate.

"You're delusional." She responds, causing Sunmi to push her and shake her head.

"No I'm not!" she responds.

"Alright, can we get back to what we were originally talking about?" you question, now deciding to step in to break up this stupid debate. "What do I wear to this festival?"

"A sparkly bralette and shorts." Seulgi immediately states.

"And glitter." Sunmi adds.

You arch an eyebrow while staring at the two of them.

"Okay, something that won't make me look like I'm a wannabe Euphoria actress?" you question, causing the two to laugh.

"I'll look through my stuff and find you something." Seulgi states. You nod your head and then let out a sigh of relief.

"So, this Felix guy is a songwriter?" Sunmi questions while staring down at the card that he gave you. You had both of them check it out and make sure that this guy isn't in a relationship and isn't a weirdo. So far, neither of them have any evidence that he has a girlfriend.

Seulgi even went out of her way to bother the whole music arts department students to triple check for your safety.

You bite onto your lower lip.

"Yeah, he's a songwriter." You respond. "He said he does it both in and out of school."

"Well, with the way you described his voice, he sounds like he could be a new deep-voiced rapper. The music world could definitely use another one of those; they're not common." Seulgi states. You nod.

"So, when is this festival? Maybe Seulgi and I can go with you so you aren't alone. Those festivals can get pretty crazy." Sunmi states. Seulgi nods immediately.

"I've heard of girls getting drugged so yeah, we're going. I'm not asking your permission." Seulgi states.

Smiling, you nod your head. It makes you feel even better about this date knowing that the two will be there in case of an emergency.

"It's two days from now."

"I'm going to start looking through my closet ASAP then." Seulgi states.

"I'm so excited for you! I'm sure this date will be the best one yet." Sunmi says before excitedly clapping her hands.

"You do realize that the bar wasn't exactly high to start with, right?" You sarcastically respond. This causes Sunmi to narrow her eyes at you while Seulgi laughs.

After the three of you continue to talk about the festival and start putting together game plans for that night.

In case the guy happens to be a weirdo, the three of you decided that Seulgi will drive, considering that she's the easiest to find in a crowd with the outfit she's chosen. The three of you also decide to bring bags with things like extra water, some self defense things in case you need them, and extra phone chargers.

You set up alternative routes to get out of there in case any chaos starts to happen.

The whole process of it makes you get a bad feeling in your stomach that something just isn't going to be right about this date.

Most couples who go to festivals together go after dating for a while, so why did he ask you there for a first date?

It just seems a little odd to you that for a first date, he wants to take you somewhere where it'll be difficult to talk and get to know each other.

You bite onto your lower lip as Sunmi and Seulgi start arguing over what outfit you should wear.

Deciding that you're just nervous because the past two dates were nightmares, you let the feeling of anxiety slowly fade away.

It's now the night of the festival and you, Sunmi and Seulgi are all dressed, now grabbing any last minute accessories.

"So, Y/N, are you ready to see Felix?" Sunmi questions while smiling over at you. She's adding some lip gloss onto her lips last minute while asking. You shrug your shoulders before looking over at Seulgi.

"Yeah, he was really cute the other day." You respond.

"You do realize since it's a festival, he might be shirtless and just wearing shorts, right?" she questions. You let out a soft laugh and shake your head immediately.

"Leave it to Seulgi to make things sexual." You respond, rolling your eyes.

"Well, the whole point is to find someone who's really attractive to bring to the party. So, obviously some of this is sexual." She responds.

You let out a soft laugh before looking over at Sunmi. Sunmi merely rolls her eyes before looking at Seulgi through the mirror.

"In case you didn't remember, the guy has to be someone Y/N can actually hold a conversation with as well." Sunmi reasons. "She can't just bring a date who's hot but has no brain, you know." Seulgi rolls her eyes.

"Whatever you say. She still wants Lucas either way so I don't think the guy she's taking should be someone she gets attached to. Unless you want to actually date him instead of Lucas, Y/N." Seulgi states.

"I still like Lucas." You respond immediately.

"Then I don't see why he needs to have a brain. She can have a braindead yet sexy guy and it won't matter." Seulgi finishes before giving a satisfied grin.

"Whatever, let's get going." Sunmi states.

"Okay, yeah we have to get going now." Seulgi responds. "Are you ready, Y/N?" You nod your head and stand up from the chair at the desk near your bed.

"As ready as I will be." You state before getting up and walking with them towards the door. You lock it behind you and make your way towards the university parking area where all of your cars are.

The three of you get into Seulgi's car and start driving to the festival.

After about an hour and a half of driving, she finds a parking spot. She parks and the three of you immediately get out of the car.

"Dial Felix's number so you can get him to meet you here, Y/N!" Sunmi encourages. You nod your head before dialing the number.

"Hey Y/N!" he answers.

"Hi, Felix." You say, smiling softly. "I just got to the festival. Where do you want to meet up at?"

"I'm in the merch line by the main stage. Do you want to meet over here? I'm right by the huge letter A labelling the stage." You look around, furrowing your eyebrows as you try to find a large A. After a few seconds of looking, you see it.

Your shoulders drop when you see how long of a walk it is for you.

"Oh, uh. That's pretty far from where I'm at... I'm by the parking area. Do you know of a shortcut for me to get there?" you question.

"No, everyone has to make the walk over here from the parking lot. It's all open so there's no shortcut." He states on the other side of the line.

You look over at Sunmi and Seulgi who now are staring over at you. Seulgi's eyebrows are raised while Sunmi's head is tilted as she analyzes your expression.

"Oh... okay. Yeah, I guess I can meet you there." You respond, uncertain.

"Okay cool! Can't wait to see you!" he says before hanging up. You immediately turn to the two and shake your head.

"It's good we wore comfortable shoes."

"Why are you saying that?" Seulgi says, eyes now wide before she looks over at Sunmi. "If she tells us we have to walk past the water area right there, kill me." Sunmi lets out a soft laugh before looking over at you.

"So, Y/N, am I going to be a murderer today?" she teases.

"Afraid so." You say before looking over at Seulgi. "I'd say you'll be missed but we both know you're going to haunt the shit out of Sunmi and I. We can't miss you if you're still there 24/7." You joke.

This causes Seulgi to roll her eyes, mimicking the last part of what you said in a sarcastic tone.

You let out a soft laugh before pointing towards the large A that he said to go to.

"We have to go to that 'A' over there. He's in line for merch." You state. Sunmi looks over at it before making eye contact with Seulgi.

"I'll kill you if you kill me." she jokes. You laugh before shaking your head.

It takes you all about thirty minutes to walk to where he's at. Thankfully, everyone else had to walk to the same place. You walked along with a group of a bunch of people who were paired off with their own groups.

You look over at the other groups and see how some groups appear to already be drunk and/or high on some sort of drug.

Shrugging your shoulders, you look over at Seulgi and Sunmi who are making noises of agony as they walk with you.

"He... he better be w-worth this walk." Seulgi tells you. "You better e-end up taking him." She says, out of breath as she speaks to you.

"Y-yeah. We're on the s-same page." Sunmi agrees, also out of breath and struggling to speak properly.

You roll your eyes before you finally make it to the large 'A' that he was talking about. Deciding to stand front and center near it, you look around at the people around.

You see a bunch of huge groups of people also waiting for friends in this same area.

"He better be alone. Group dates suck." Seulgi states.

"Oh my gosh." Sunmi says while laughing. "Y/N, you're never going to believe this. There's a guy who showed up dressed as a superhero."

"What?!" Seulgi questions loudly. "I have to see this. Where is he?" she questions while stepping closer to Sunmi.

You, however, merely roll your eyes and keep your mind focused on the task at hand: finding Felix. Looking around, you feel disappointment creeping up on you as you feel that he might've ditched you.

"Y/N, you have to see this." Sunmi states. "Stop freaking out and just take a look at this guy." She places her hands on your shoulders while standing behind you. Slowly, she directs you to the direction where the funny guy is.

You roll your eyes before you cave in and look over at where the two were looking.

The man is dressed in a cape, a mask and he's running around calling himself the 'F-bomb.'

You laugh before quickly shaking your head as you see this.

"Oh my gosh, I'm so glad that I looked." You say before laughing so hard that your stomach starts to hurt. Tears begin forming in your eyes from how hard you're laughing as you watch him running around, making a fool of himself. Reaching your hand up, you cover your mouth.

The man eventually turns around and makes eye contact with you, Sunmi and Seulgi.

"Y/N!" the man in the mask says.

This causes your laughter to immediately stop. You widen your eyes and your jaw drops.

Seulgi and Sunmi also stop laughing. Seulgi's eyes widen and she begins holding in her laughter. Sunmi's eyes are wide and she covers her mouth before looking over at you. You can see the pity in her eyes as she looks over at you.

"Y/N, please tell me that the 'F' in 'F-bomb' doesn't stand for Felix." Sunmi states, her voice sounding weak and sympathetic.

"It's me! Felix!" he says before quickly taking his mask off, revealing his handsome face.

You put a fake smile on your face and see the other groups of people now pointing at you while laughing.

"Hi, Felix." You say awkwardly while giving him a wave as he approaches.

I've been pretty busy so I haven't had too much time to pre-write more of this story. But I'm around chapter 44 right now! I'll try to write more soon!
