You anxiously dig your teeth into your lower lip as you stare up at the empty parking lot in front of you. As you stare, you can't help but allow your body to fidget. Fingers picking at dead skin by your cuticles, eyes darting back and forth as you scan your surroundings, and your feet shifting your weight back and forth in place.

Only about four days until Taehyung comes back.

You two have been texting frequently and FaceTiming every single night before bed. It's helped the past five days go by quickly, but you still find yourself checking the clock every couple of hours in between Christmas shopping and seeing Seulgi and Sunmi.

Speaking of those two, they're the reason you're standing in this empty parking lot in the cold right now.

They said they'd meet you here fifteen minutes ago to go Christmas shopping together. You still had to buy your mother something along with Taehyung and figured it'd be nice to have two outside parties' opinions on what to get him.

Sighing, you take out your phone and check your texts while you wait.

You see a few messages from Taehyung. This causes you to smile while reading his messages.

Taehyung 🥰: thinking about you, just got your Christmas present 🤔

He also sent a selfie holding up a wrapped Christmas gift. This causes you to smile as you respond.

Y/N: oh? I'm about to hunt for yours right now 👀

Taehyung 🥰: oh, you're giving me a dead animal for a present? 🤯

You let out a soft laugh and shake your head as you begin typing another reply before you feel a cold hand pressed against your upper arm.

Jumping immediately, you gasp and drop your phone. You don't hesitate to grab your safety keychain, holding out the pointed plastic tool. Pushing your hand forward, you attempt to jab it into whoever grabbed you.

Luckily enough for Seulgi, she dodged it immediately.

"Whoa there," Seulgi says before you relax, letting out a relieved breath. She reaches down and grabs your phone, handing it to you while examining it for scratches. "And you needed Taehyung to be your bad date bodyguard? Pretty sure you can take of yourself, babe."

Taking your phone from her, you roll your eyes before sending the message to Taehyung that you had typed out. You then shake your head.

"The only reason I have this keychain now is because Taehyung is the one who got it for me." You state. This statement causes Seulgi to smile before she gestures for you to follow her.

"Sunmi's already inside. Let's go meet up with her."

"You mean to tell me I was standing out here by myself while one of you was already inside?" you question. Seulgi shakes her head.

"I had to park the car and had her go in, I already saw you smiling at your phone like a teenager in love." She states. You grin before shaking your head.

"Well, speaking of that, he just said he already bought me my gift." You bite onto your lower lip. "I don't even know what to get him."

"I'm sure we'll find something... you mentioned him liking clothes. Maybe we can find him something in one of the clothing stores here."

"He has a specific style though. Some days he's wearing sweatpants and sandals and the next he's in dress clothes." You take a deep breath before glancing around. "So, what were you two up to before this?" you question out of curiosity.

"Oh, she had her first pregnancy appointment with her gyno." She states before shrugging her shoulders. "The baby is perfectly healthy."

"Was she able to find out how many months pregnant she is?" Seulgi's eyebrows immediately raise at the question.

"Yep... four months already." You widen your eyes as you look over at her.

"Four? She went four months without going?"

"I mean, I don't blame the girl. She was scared to admit that it was true. She's been eating healthy anyway and not suppressing any of her cravings, she's been reading pregnancy books on her own as well. She's at least putting in an effort now that we know about it."

"I'm glad you got her to go." You state. "So, does he know yet?" Seulgi nods her head.

"Yeah, he knows... it didn't work out in her favor, though." This causes your shoulders to drop as you stop walking. Seulgi stops as well, nodding her head.

"He ditched?" Seulgi nods. "Why would he do that to her? I thought that he was a decent guy."

"Trust me, I was shocked by it too. That's why I had to take her to that appointment. She was hoping he'd be happy about it and go with her to at least talk about their options." Seulgi says before looking behind you as she widens her eyes slightly. She gives you the look that you two always share when you need to drop the topic.

This causes you to stop talking and turn around to see Sunmi approaching with a group of bags in her hand. She smiles over at you and waves and you smile back before pointing towards the bags.

"Already found some gifts for everyone?" you question. She smiles softly and nods her head.

"Yep, already found some for you, Seulgi, and my parents." She says while holding up two of the three bags she's holding. She then holds up the other bag. "I even managed to find more books and things that help out with the whole... 'pregnant' thing." She says before getting a little more quiet when she says the word 'pregnant.'

You silently eye the bag before holding your hand out. She immediately hands it to you before you peek into the bag and see a few baby books, baby name books, a pregnancy pillow, and different boxes of tea. You hand the bag back to her before the three of you begin walking together.

"So, Y/N, I'm sorry that my appointment was so last minute. Are you down to go with me the next time I go?" she questions. You nod your head and give her a small smile.

"Sure, I don't mind going. It's no big deal either, I'm just glad you're finally able to go to those appointments." You respond. She smiles before nodding her head.

"Me too. I was too scared to go but Seulgi said I should go just to make sure everything is normal." She states. You nod your head.

"Yeah, it makes sense. I'd be terrified too but I'm just glad you changed your mind about it and decided to go."

She then nods her head and then points towards you and Seulgi.

"Okay, enough about me. I heard you two are having a hard time finding Christmas presents?" she questions. You take a deep breath and nod your head. Reaching your hand behind your neck, you begin scratching the back of your neck and let out a soft sigh.

"Yeah... Taehyung already got me a gift and I'm not sure what to get for him." You state before looking over at Seulgi.

"And to my surprise, Yoongi actually wants to exchange gifts for Christmas. I'm not sure what is considered a gift that's appropriate for a fuck buddy." Seulgi states while looking between the different stores.

"Ooh, yeah, that's tough." Sunmi states. "It's okay, I'm here to help. We'll find something for both of you. Let's get started." She states.

The three of you go immediately into the nearest clothing and novelty store that way you two can both find something. While walking around, you see a really cool leather jacket and hold it up as you tilt your head to the side.

"How about this?" you ask before turning around. Once you turn around, you see that Seulgi is also facing you. She's holding an erotic kit for couples. You arch an eyebrow as you see it once you look at the box to see what's included in it. It has a Kamasutra, different types of lube, anal beads, a leather whip, and a pair of handcuffs.

"What? Too much?" Seulgi questions as she sees your jaw slowly dropping with each word that you read on the box. You slowly nod your head and Sunmi approaches.

"It's a bit much but maybe that's something Yoongi would want since you guys are just having fun." You say with hesitancy.

"I like the jacket... but doesn't Taehyung already have one of those in that exact color?" Seulgi questions.

Sunmi eyes both of your suggestions before slightly biting onto her bottom lip to stop from cringing.

"I'm not too sure about either of those." Sunmi states before shrugging her shoulders.

Both you and Seulgi place the items back before Sunmi quickly picks up something and hands it to Seulgi; it's an album.

"An album?" Seulgi questions.

"You said he likes music, it has a lot of good songs to have sex to, alright?" Sunmi states. This causes Seulgi's look of confusion to contort into a look of satisfaction. A small smirk forms on her face. Sunmi merely rolls her eyes before turning to you. "And you..." she drifts off as she eyes the store.

She then walks towards the men's clothing section. As she eyes the different pieces of clothing, she shakes her head before she looks back at you.

"Your gift... is going to require a little more effort." She states. This causes you to raise your eyebrows.

"Effort? You sure a customized gift won't be too much? It is our first Christmas together." You state.

"Oh, don't worry. It's not something you're unfamiliar with." She states before smiling softly. "We'll get your gift sometime next week. I don't think the pottery shop is open right now."

"Pottery shop? You want me to paint him something?" you question. She laughs softly before shaking her head.

"I don't want you to paint something for him but I know for a fact that he would love it." She responds before giving you a quick wink. After doing this, the three of you then head towards the checkout to get Seulgi's gift for Yoongi.

"Oh, by the way, Y/N, my next gyno appointment is scheduled for next month on the fifteenth." She states.

"Okay, let me add that to my calendar." You state before pulling out your phone and adding the event to your calendar. You then notice that Taehyung has sent you another text which causes you to smile.

Taehyung 🥰: you're going to love the gift I got you. I can't wait to see you using it.

You smile before typing out a reply.

Y/N: At the mall, couldn't find anything special enough to get you. Have to get it a little later than expected 🤭

Once you finish texting him, you feel your stomach starting to growl and let out a soft sigh as you eye the food court. Seulgi looks down at your stomach before making eye contact with you and letting out a soft laugh.

"Yep, same." She states before grabbing you and leading the way to the food court. Sunmi follows behind as she eyes the milkshakes. She then shifts her attention to the Mexican food restaurant.

You notice her hesitating as she eyes the two restaurants. You gently nudge Seulgi and Seulgi looks over at Sunmi. Once you two look at her, you two then nod in agreement.

"You know, Sunmi," you start before reaching into your purse. "Since you're helping us both out by present hunting..."

"We owe you big time." Seulgi finishes while getting some cash out as well. "Get both if you're craving both. We'll cover for you." You and Seulgi hand Sunmi the cash and she then smiles widely before tearing up a little.

"No, don't cry!" you immediately say. Seulgi immediately shakes her head.

"If you cry, we'll take it back." She states, causing Sunmi to pout.

"I can't help it, my hormones are a little more off than normal." She says before looking down at the floor. You sigh before you and Seulgi lead the way towards the two restaurants at the food court.

There is a lot going on in the world right now but I'm not 100% educated about it.

I just know there is a war going on in Palestine right now but don't know how we ended up here. I know there must be many years of things that led to this point. If I have any readers who can help explain how we got here, what's happening, and who's involved (I believe the US is involved to some capacity like providing weapons or some sort of help but don't know much other than that), please educate me so I can be aware of what's happening in the world. I like to keep myself educated on serious things like this.

I'm very appreciative of my readers who teach me about things going on in the world. Sometimes the world feels too big and we tend to get caught up in what's happening in our personal lives and don't think about things going on outside of our own lives. I try to avoid doing this but sometimes we get caught up in stuff.
