You're now at your dorm after the party.

Taehyung is standing at your door, ready to leave. You bite onto your lower lip as you think about something while staring over at him.

"Hey, Tae?" you question. He lifts his eyebrows as he looks over at you.

"Yeah?"

"When would be the right time for us to tell Jimin and everyone from the party about us not really dating?" you question. Taehyung glances up at the ceiling, silently thinking about your question.

After a few seconds of thinking, his eyes divert back to you.

"I don't know how I would explain what happened to them, if I'm being honest." He states, causing you to nod your head slowly. "But what I'm thinking we can do is 'break up,' not hang out around them for a bit, and then have you come back as a close friend rather than a girlfriend." He states.

"That would definitely make it easier." You state before biting onto your lower lip. "But what would I say if one of them were to ask me why we broke up?" you question.

"Easy. We just say that the attraction went away and that we were better off as friends." He states, not hesitating with his answer.

This causes your heart to drop, sinking deeply into your chest. Your shoulders slightly slump over as well, almost as if you had just taken a metaphorical bullet in your chest.

You know it's not a real relationship. You know this is all fake and that you two are fine.

However, it makes you sad thinking about the way he described it.

Does his attraction towards one of his partners go away that quickly?

You bite onto your lower lip before nodding your head.

"Well, I probably should get going." Taehyung says as he reaches for the doorknob on your door. He then looks back at you once more, giving his signature boxy smile. "Thanks for playing along with the couple thing, Y/N. I really appreciate it. Anyone, including me, would be lucky to have you as their actual girlfriend." He says before giving you a quick wink and making his way out of your dorm.

You stare over at the door in shock of what he just said.

He went from talking about losing attraction to one another to that in seconds.

How?

You raise your eyebrows for a second, processing what just happened before it hits you.

Anyone... including him.

Interesting.

"Including him?" Seulgi questions before looking over at Sunmi. The two smirk at one another.

"You know, before you realized you had a crush on him, you would've let something that obvious go right over your head." Sunmi states. "I'm glad you're paying attention now." Seulgi nods in agreement before she leans over the table slightly.

The three of you are at the coffee shop near the university, gossiping while you drink coffee.

You glance around, making sure that none of Taehyung's many friends and acquaintances are near.

"Yeah, yeah. I get it, I was letting small things go over my head."

"Small?" Sunmi questions.

"Pretty sure that kiss of yours wasn't small." Seulgi states, examining her nails.

Externally, you roll your eyes at this.

Internally? Your stomach is doing somersaults. Your heart is racing. Your mind is now only thinking about that kiss, craving to experience it again.

"So, hear me out." Sunmi states. "Don't you think it'd be good to ask him out now while his friends already think you're dating?" Seulgi glances at Sunmi before nodding her head.

"Yeah, complicates things a lot less." She states. "Because if they ask, you can just explain the Lucas party thing and then say you got feelings for him and asked him out after they already assumed you two were together. Makes you look a little more credible."

"Exactly." Sunmi agrees.

"Okay, for the two who got me into this whole fake dating mess, you sure do have a lot of brilliant ideas. Ones that could've been used in the first place to prevent this whole mess." You respond immediately. The two look at one another before shrugging and nodding, admitting to their fault silently. "Also, I still don't get how you two automatically think you know that he likes me back."

"Because of the Frank Sinatra songs he sends you all the time?" Seulgi questions.

"Because of the way he always thinks of asking you first before going anywhere?" Sunmi adds.

"Because of how he literally talks about you to his friends?"

"Because of the kiss?" Sunmi argues immediately. This causes Seulgi to gesture towards her.

"Exactly. That's four obvious hints right there." She says before leaning forward onto the table. She maintains eye contact with you as she speaks again. "The chances of you feeling something that intense during the kiss while he feels nothing at all? Highly unlikely." Seulgi states.

You open your mouth to say something before looking up and seeing Jimin walking into the coffee shop.

You immediately look down at your drink.

"His friend is here." You mumble. The two exchange a look before Seulgi subtly turns around. After a few seconds she raises her eyebrows.

"Cute friend group." She smirks. You merely laugh before shaking your head.

"You haven't even seen the other five but you're so accurate." You state. "His whole friend group is attractive. It's like they all went on an app, saw that all of the other guys were attractive, and made this superior, attractive friend group."

"Attractive people are usually always friends with one another. I have no idea how that happens. Can't relate." Sunmi agrees before taking a sip of her drink. Seulgi looks at her, bewildered.

"Um, hello? Have you seen the three of us?" Seulgi questions before arching an eyebrow. "Unless you're calling either me or Y/N ugly?" she questions while looking at her. Sunmi immediately laughs.

"Oh, please. You know I think you two are gorgeous." She responds.

"Damn right you do. Right, Y/N?" Seulgi says before flipping her hair. You merely laugh and nod your head.

"Y/N?" you hear Jimin's delicate voice calling out.

You freeze for a second before looking up and seeing him smiling at you. You quickly get up from your chair.

"Jimin! Hi!" you greet. Jimin smiles widely, eyes squinting immediately as he grows happy to see you. He opens his arms and pulls you into a hug.

You, taken aback, hesitate for a second before wrapping your arms around his muscular back, reciprocating the hug.

Looking to your side, you notice that Seulgi and Sunmi are staring at you two. Seulgi is checking Jimin out while Sunmi has her head tilted to the side.

You pull away from the hug slowly. Jimin does the same.

"So, are you coming over for dinner tonight, Y/N?" Jimin questions. You're unable to hide the confusion in your face as he asks this. Jimin immediately shakes his head, an expression of annoyance now on his face. "Aish, don't tell me. Taehyung didn't even mention it to you, did he?"

"Um... nope..." you say. He lets out a sigh.

"Well, since he didn't mention it, I will." He states. "I'm cooking dinner tonight and would like to invite you to join. Soojin will also be there."

"Is it just us four?" you question. He nods.

"Since it's so last minute, I understand if you can't make it." You glance towards Seulgi and Sunmi before nodding your head.

"Yeah, I don't think I'll be able to. We already had plans for a girls' night out tonight. I'm so sorry, Jimin." You state. Jimin immediately shakes his head, smiling.

"No worries, not your fault." He says before speaking again. "Taehyung on the other hand... he's going to get scolded when I get home." He mumbles to himself. This causes you to laugh.

"Oh, don't worry. He'll hear an earful from me too." You state. Jimin laughs and nods his head.

"Alright, well, don't break his ears or anything." He jokes before turning to Seulgi and Sunmi. "I'm Jimin. Hopefully, we're able to meet again when we have more time to talk. I'd love to get to know Y/N's friends since Taehyung mentioned you both are really funny and nice."

Taehyung said that? He talks about your friends to Jimin too?

Seulgi and Sunmis' faces make it clear that they're questioning that too.

"Yeah, we'll try to hang out sometime. I'm Seulgi." Seulgi states.

"Sunmi. Definitely looking forward to getting to know Taehyung's friends." She smiles up at him. Jimin nods before politely excusing himself and going to get his coffee order.

The three of you watch him walking away for a second before Seulgi breaks the silence.

"Still think he doesn't actually have a crush on you? Why would he care about Sunmi and I?" she questions.

You look over at her and shrug.

"Also, why'd you say no?" Sunmi questions. You sit back down at the table and take a sip of your drink.

"If Taehyung wanted me to go, he'd have asked." You state. "The last thing I want is to show up unexpectedly to things that he might not have wanted me to go to in the first place."

The two go to argue before they silence themselves, realizing that you're right. It would come off as overbearing if you were to do that.

"Okay, so, Lucas's party is literally in a few days." Seulgi states. "Is Taehyung just coming as your friend or are you two ditching the party altogether?"

"I think you should go as friends." Sunmi immediately projects her opinion onto you. "It'd be a good chance to talk to Taehyung and tell him you like him." You widen your eyes.

"What?"

"Well, think about it. You've been going on dates left and right, looking for Mr. Right... he's already in front of you. Why not go for it?" Sunmi questions.

Even Seulgi is surprised.

"Wow... normally, I'd be the one to say something like that..." Seulgi states.

"Don't you love how you're rubbing off on me?" Sunmi grins before taking a sip of her drink. Seulgi laughs before nodding her head.

"Regardless, she's right. It is a good time to talk about it... especially if you don't even know when you two are going to hang out after that."

You bite onto your lower lip before looking up and seeing Jimin walking out of the coffee shop. He glances back at you and gives you a quick wave before leaving.

Best case scenario: he ends up becoming you're boyfriend.

Worst case scenario: he gets uncomfortable and you two are no longer friends.

The thought of the worst case scenario alone makes you hesitate. However, you know Taehyung, and you know that the worst case scenario isn't likely to happen. He'd most likely politely turn you down, give you space for a bit, and then you two would eventually joke about it later on.

You tilt your head to the side for a moment.

"Well? What's going on in that pretty head of yours?" Sunmi questions.

"Are you going to take the chance and potentially give yourself the Mr. Right you've been wanting?" Seulgi questions, raising both of her hands to resemble a weighing scale between two objects. Her hands alternate between rising and falling. "Or do you stay in the friendzone and hurt yourself by fearing change in the process?"

You look between the two of them before nodding your head.

"The worst thing that could happen is it'll make things awkward if I do it." You reason. "But if I don't do it, I won't know what might've happened..."

The two stare over at you, curious as to what you'll decide.

You take a sip of your coffee before nodding your head.

"You know what... I learned my lesson with Lucas. I waited way too long and then got hurt in the process. I need to do this."

Seulgi and Sunmi smile widely. Sunmi claps her hands together while Seulgi nods her head, a proud smile on her face.

Onto what's going on in the world:

In Texas, there was a man this morning who has an AR-15 gun and he was asked to stop practicing shooting in his yard because his neighbor's baby was sleeping. They didn't want the gun to wake up their child. This man replied with "I'll do what I want in my yard" and proceeded to go around and shoot at these neighbors and innocent bystanders. As of right now, 5 people have been declared to be dead, one of which was an 8-year-old boy. Some people who were killed were found to be covering their children and shielding them from the bullets. This man, named Francisco Oropeza, is currently still on the loose and hasn't been caught by police yet.

There is a new scam that scammers are using which includes AI. They are getting voice profiles of people and then calling the people's family and using AI to make it appear that they have their family members/friends. They will use the AI voice feature to have the person's voice saying things like "mom, they have me," "help, they're going to hurt me," etc. in order to get money from the family members/friends. This is very scary because technology is being used in ways that it wasn't intended to be. Rather than being helpful, it's creating ways for people to scam others. Be careful if you receive one of these calls. Always have a secret phrase or code with family members or friends that you don't share with anyone else so that, God forbid, if this were to really be them, you would know for sure that it's them. Don't fall for scams like this. Either don't answer the phone, or if you do, make sure you ask the so-called person on the other end for the code so you can verify if this is legit or not.

I haven't seen as many articles about international news as I normally do, if I have any followers with some very important news that they're aware of and would like to spread, please let me know. I like to try to stay in touch with what's going on in other places of the world.

Onto other stuff, YOONGI IS NOW ON TOUR!!! I'm so proud of him for releasing another album, especially since it symbolizes him letting go of the rage/anger of his AGUST D persona. I'm glad he's entering a point in his life where he's letting go of the rage, and I'm glad he expressed it in a healthy way by writing lyrics and music for it.

Hobi is now enlisted in the military and with Jin! I'm going to miss him, but I'm so very proud of him and all of them for deciding to enlist. I feel a lot better now as well knowing that him and Jin are there together and Jin is no longer by himself.

Don't forget to stream all of the member's solo projects, especially Jimin's and Yoongi's since those are the two most recent releases. I'm so proud of them.

I hope all of you are doing well! I've been busy with work but I've been trying to write more again for this story as I get time to.

Please always remember to take care of yourselves. Eat plenty of food, drink lots of water, get plenty of sleep, and always prioritize your health. If anyone is struggling through a tough time right now, I really hope it gets better, I believe in you and know that this will pass soon. BTS also believes in you and want you to always remember that the bad times are only temporary. You can and will make it through.
