"So, Y/N, tell us a little more about yourself." Namjoon states while taking a sip of his alcohol. The men all look at you. Taehyung smiles, gently rubs your shoulder as he keeps his arm wrapped around you.

You bite onto your lower lip before shrugging your shoulders.

"Well, I'm currently attending university. I study architecture and interior design." You state before glancing down at your feet, thinking of what else could be worth mentioning.

Taehyung senses you struggling to think of what to say before he suddenly speaks up.

"She's also quite the painter." He states. "We went to a ceramics painting event for one of our dates and she painted the cutest little owl." He smiles over at you. You look up at him and tilt your head to the side.

"Your squirrel was pretty cute too." You respond. You suddenly hear a loud laugh. As you look towards the direction of where the laugh came from, you see Hoseok laughing hysterically.

"Oh my gosh, is she talking about the squirrel bowl that you used to serve us dinner the last time we ate at your place?" Taehyung smiles proudly before nodding his head.

"Yep." He says before letting out a laugh as well.

"Y/N, you have no idea how hilarious it was!" Hoseok states before reaching a hand up, using his index finger to wipe away a stray tear escaping his eye from laughing so hard. "He- oh my goodness, he ended up-" he tries to tell you what happened but struggles as he laughs while thinking about the funny memory. This causes the other members to laugh at the sound of his laugh alone.

"I'll tell it since you're struggling so hard right now." Yoongi suddenly speaks up. "He was serving us something in the bowl... I think it was either kimchi or sauce."

"It was definitely sauce." Jungkook chimes in before he takes a sip of his drink. Yoongi nods in agreement before continuing on with the story.

"We were joking around, pretending to have this little cooking competition with every dish we served. Everyone had such good plating except for Taehyung because, well, how do you make sauce look fancy? So, what he ended up doing was grabbing a ladle and scooping the sauce into the squirrel bowl that he painted with you. He then put this clear bowl on top of it to make it look like that one character from Spongebob." He states.

"Sandy the Squirrel." Namjoon adds. "It looked like the clear dome she lives in."

"Exactly." Yoongi laughs softly, his shoulders shaking as he thinks about the memory. Hoseok is still nearly crying from how hard he's laughing. "So, when it was time for us to eat dinner, everyone was presenting their dish. Everyone decorated their food with fresh vegetables or by arranging the food on the plate neatly. Then, it's Taehyung's turn to present his food. He places the two bowls onto the table and there was so much steam in the clear bowl that no one could see it." He laughs.

"And so then I lift the bowl, revealing the squirrel and it made everyone laugh because they weren't expecting to see that underneath the steam." Taehyung finishes, laughing. "That was one of my funniest moments." You laugh as you picture the image in your head as Taehyung mimics how he lifted the bowl and the members describe how the squirrel looked.

You shake your head before you nod your head.

"I wish I could've witnessed that." You state.

"Ah, don't worry, Y/N." Namjoon suddenly speaks up. "You'll have plenty of opportunities to witness the chaos that is our friend group." Taehyung nods in agreement as he moves his arm from your shoulder. He moves his arm lower so that it's now resting on your lower back, gently rubbing your lower back.

You widen your eyes for a second before smiling and continuing the conversation with everyone.

Deep down, however, you're feeling your heart speed up at the way Taehyung is acting. You can't help but question whether or not he's acting or if this is just how he is with his girlfriends. Licking your lips, you glance up at Taehyung.

He makes eye contact with you, grinning widely before giving your waist a gentle squeeze.

You feel a warmth forming in your stomach as you get butterflies in it.

He notices that you're acting a little off and furrows his eyebrows before looking up at the guys. After a few seconds of contemplating, he looks up at the guys.

"Hey guys, you don't mind if I pull Y/N aside and get a little alone time with her, do you?" Taehyung questions suddenly, causing you to look up at him quickly. The other men immediately shake their heads.

Namjoon, Seokjin, Jungkook, and Jimin merely smirk at each other. Yoongi and Hoseok share a look before smiling over at you both.

"Sure, go for it." Hoseok states.

"The empty bedrooms are over that way, to the left." Namjoon states, arching an eyebrow as he looks over at the two of you.

"But don't mess up the room too badly." Jimin teases. This causes your face and body to heat up at the thought of you two fooling around in the bedroom.

Taehyung merely rolls his eyes before gently removing his hand from your waist. He then reaches his hand out, taking yours in his.

Leading the way, Taehyung makes his way with you towards the hallway leading to the empty rooms.

You feel his hand fully wrap around yours. Biting onto your lower lip, you glance back at the six men. A few are smirking over at you. Others are merely smiling at you and waving.

You wave back with your free hand before turning around to see where you're going.

Upon facing forward, you see Taehyung opening the door to one of the free rooms. You gulp before taking a deep breath.

You two step into the room and Taehyung closes the door behind you. Heading straight for the bed, you awkwardly sit on the bed with your hands rested on your lap. Taehyung steps towards you before plopping onto the bed next to you.

Biting onto your lower lip, you avoid eye contact by looking around the room.

"So, this is a really nice house." You state. Taehyung merely stares over at the wall before turning to look at you.

"What's going on?" he cuts to the chase, wanting to figure out what's bugging you. It takes him asking this for you to be able to look him directly in the eye. You shrug your shoulders.

"I don't know. Just have a lot of stuff to do for my architecture class." You state. Taehyung grows silent for a second before turning his body to face you. He tilts his head to the side as he stares at you with a plain face.

"That's not it." He states before looking you up and down. He nods his head as he speaks. "Something's really bugging you. You normally can tell me anything... what's going on?"

You take a deep breath.

Do you just admit the crush or do you come up with something else?

"I..." you get quiet, still unsure as to what you should do in this situation.

You sigh before reaching your hand up, scratching the back of your neck. Avoiding eye contact again, you look down at your feet.

"Spit it out, Y/N."

"I'm not into Lucas anymore." You blurt out without thinking. This causes Taehyung to furrow his eyebrows for a second while staring over at you. You can tell that he's trying to piece together how this piece of information affects him.

"Okay...?" he states. "And why's that bugging you?" You inhale a deep breath before gesturing towards the direction you came into this room from.

"Because you've been so nice with all of these practice dates and I felt guilty because it was pretty much all for nothing." You state. This causes Taehyung's gaze to soften as he stares over at you. After a few seconds, he smiles before letting out a soft laugh.

Good save.

You don't know how you did it, but you were able to come up with something believable.

"That's seriously all?" he questions. He then shakes his head before gently pushing you. "You scared me."

"How did that scare you? What did you think was bugging me?"

"You had me thinking that I did something to make you uncomfortable. You kept making these faces whenever I put my arm around you." He states before shaking his head. "I thought you were feeling unsafe or like I was being creepy or something."

You let out a soft laugh and immediately shake your head.

"No, I was making those faces because I felt bad at how well you were acting." You state before biting onto your lower lip. He lets out a soft laugh and shakes his head.

"Don't worry about that. It's really not a big deal." He states. You nod your head before sighing.

"But what about the party?" you question, remembering the fact that you two have to go to the party. He grows quiet before shrugging his shoulders.

"What about it?" he questions. You laugh softly.

"Well, did you still want to go with me as a friend or did you have something else you wanted to do that night?" you question. "You know, now that you won't have to be my pretend boyfriend." He lets out a soft laugh before shaking his head.

"You think I'm going to turn down the opportunity to go to a good party?" he questions. "I'm still going with you." He states. You nod your head and grin over at him.

"Alright, we can enjoy the party together and not have to fake anything." You state.

"I'm sure we would've had a good time whether we had to fake date or not." He states. You shrug your shoulders as you think about it.

"I mean, it would've been fun to see Lucas's reaction but it makes our lives easier to enjoy the party without being fake." You state. He lets out a soft laugh.

"I can't believe you got so worried about telling me this." He states before shaking his head. "You know you can tell me anything, right? That's how you maintain a good friendship."

You grin up at him before reaching your hand up, fixing your hair.

He stares over at you for a second, licking his lips. After a few seconds, he speaks up again.

"So, we should probably get back out there. We don't want them thinking we actually did anything. I won't hear the end of it if they do." He says. You laugh and nod your head before both of you make your way out of the room.

"So, does that mean we still have to fake date around them?" you question. This causes Taehyung to clench his jaw for a second as he thinks. He then tilts his head to the side.

"Yeah... we probably still have to around them since they already think it." He states. "I just know they'd have way too many questions for us if we're honest with them." You nod your head and Taehyung closes the door behind you two.

As you make your way out of the bedroom, you look in the direction of where the six men are.

When you do, you make eye contact with Yoongi, who suddenly says something that makes the other five look at you.

As they look over at you, a few smirk, a few merely wave, and a few are examining your clothing along with Taehyung's. You glance over at Taehyung and he keeps a straight face on.

Once you two get to the group, they speak up.

"So... did you two have fun?" Jimin teases.

"We just went off to talk." Taehyung states before putting his arm around you. The other members look to you to see what you have to say.

"Yeah, I just had something really important to tell him." You state. The boys shrug.

"Well, here's what you missed." Hoseok states while catching you two up on the conversation they're having right now.

I hope all of you are doing well. I've been really busy the past few weeks as my birthday is approaching soon and I had to plan for it!

Make sure you all take care of yourselves. Eat well, drink lots of water, and try to stay positive always. Also, don't forget to stream Yoongi's new song, Namjoon's new collab, and Jimin's album.
