You're now sitting in the library, finishing up the changes that Taehyung had told you to make to the project. You're now adding in the small ceramic owl on the counter of the kitchen drawing.

Smiling to yourself as you draw it in, you take a deep breath.

"Y/N!" you hear Sunmi's voice next to you. You look up and see her and Seulgi walking into the library with a cup of coffee for you. Smiling, you turn your body to face them, giving the two your full attention.

"How's the project going?" Seulgi questions while looking over at you. You smile widely before gesturing towards the thin, large piece of paper on your drawing board. The two lean over and look down at the drawing.

"Oh! Isn't that the cute little owl you painted with Taehyung?" Sunmi questions. You nod your head, biting onto your lower lip.

"It actually was his idea to put it in the drawing. I told him it looked boring and he mentioned how I was only using warm-tone colors. He was right, it looks so much better having that one stand-out piece." You state. This causes the two to lift their eyebrows before looking at one another. Seulgi then reaches over to hand you the cup of coffee they got you. You gladly accept the cup and immediately take a sip.

"Ah, yeah, it's because he studies art, right?" Seulgi questions.

"He isn't in school right now actually but for fun, he loves looking at art and fashion." You state. Seulgi smiles, biting onto her lower lip while Sunmi grins widely.

"Oh, my bad. I forgot about that." Seulgi states.

"So, the party's coming up... he's still down to go with you, right?" Sunmi questions. You nod your head and smile up at them.

"Yeah, I just saw him last night actually. He's still going to take me."

"Did you give him a heads up on who Lucas is?" Seulgi questions. You look up at her, confused for a second before nodding your head.

"Oh, yeah, didn't mention that detail. When we hung out last night, Taehyung picked me up from the library and Lucas was in there. He was trying to get me to do this stupid project or exam or something for him." You state. "So, Taehyung came over to get me and met Lucas while Lucas was doing that. I think Lucas is scared of him." You say while softly laughing.

"You don't want him to get too scared of him though." Sunmi states. This causes you to furrow your eyebrows.

"And why not?" you question. The two share a look before looking down at you. You, however, don't notice the confusion in their faces as you take another sip of your coffee, barely managing to stop yourself from chugging the whole thing.

"Because Taehyung's there as a decoy to get Lucas to ask you out... remember?" Seulgi questions. After a few seconds of your silence, an amused smile finds its way on her lips. "Unless the plan changed?"

"Why would I still want to go out with him?" you question before looking down at your drawing, immediately making mental notes of the last little details you need to make. "His whole 'feeling guilty about saying no to me and dumping another girl to take me instead out of pity' thing? Not exactly a turn on." You state.

The two are looking at each other, now wide-eyed.

"So, you're telling me that you're over Lucas?" Sunmi questions. "Like genuinely over him?"

"I thought I made that clear when I ranted to you both about him dumping Yuqi to take me on a pity date." You state before taking another sip of your coffee. "But if you need more clarification, yeah."

"Well, you can't blame us for not being entirely sure..." Sunmi states before looking to Seulgi for back up.

"Yeah... the last time Lucas had you do his work and you were annoyed by that, you claimed you were over him." Seulgi starts.

"Only to bump into him in the dorms a week later, have a conversation with him, and get a crush on him again." Sunmi states. You shrug as they say these things before finishing the last bit of your coffee cup. Getting up, you throw the cup into the recycling bin before going back to your seat. The two of you merely watch your actions as you proceed to pick up your pencil and start drawing again.

"Yeah but now that I have Taehyung as a friend, it showed me how much of a dick Lucas actually is." You state and take a deep breath. "I just don't like him that way anymore."

It's almost as if a lightbulb goes off in both of their heads at the same time.

Seulgi merely begins to smirk.

Sunmi smiles widely, unable to hide her excitement as she claps. This causes you to look at her with furrowed eyebrows.

"What?" you ask.

"You like Taehyung." Seulgi answers for her. This causes you to pause, no longer drawing on the thin sheet of paper as you widen your eyes. Your head snaps in her direction, ready to protest this statement.

"Like? She adores him." Sunmi states, beating you to it. This causes Seulgi to roll her eyes for a moment before looking at you once more.

"Likes, adores, same thing." She states before looking at you again. "Either way, we're both right."

"I do not like him. He's my friend. My reliable, trusting, caring friend who I like spending time with."

"Who happens to be the hot motorcycle guy that every girl on campus has been talking about." Seulgi states.

"Who always is there when you need him, ready to do whatever you need." Sunmi states. You roll your eyes before you cross your arms over your chest.

"I like him in a platonic, non-romantic way." You state.

"Hm... okay." Seulgi states before sitting down in the chair next to you. She arches an eyebrow, eyes locked on yours. You gulp, already knowing she's about to debate with you. "If you don't like him in a romantic way at all, answer me this: why are you still keeping your date with him to Lucas's party when you don't even care about making Lucas jealous anymore?"

"Because it'd be fun to hang out with him and let him meet my friends to expand his friend group as well." You state. This causes Seulgi to narrow her eyes at you.

"If you're so platonic with him, why are you still having him play the 'protective boyfriend' role when you don't give a fuck what Lucas thinks or says about you?" she questions.

"If this was a platonic hangout to get him to meet your friends, you would have called off the whole 'fake relationship' garbage." Sunmi is now getting involved in the argument. This causes your eyes to shift their attention to her.

"I just forgot to tell him." You state. Sighing, you roll your eyes and start putting away your architecture materials. Once you finish doing so, you immediately look at the two and stand up. "Just because you're in a steady relationship and you have a steady fuck buddy situation doesn't mean you know what I'm feeling towards someone." You state, gesturing towards the two of them.

You make your way out of the library and go straight to your dorm, ignoring their attempts at catching up with you and calling after you.

Sighing, you lock your door behind you and sit down on your bed before looking down at your project. You take out your pencil and begin drawing to finish your project.

You last about fifteen minutes before your mind goes back to what Seulgi and Sunmi were saying earlier.

You do feel a little tingle in your stomach whenever you're around Taehyung. Your heart did speed up during the time you two kissed. You're always smiling around him. You two are always laughing together and enjoying each other's company.

Maybe those two are onto something.

Why didn't you call things off with the fake date to the party? You know you don't need to go but you were looking forward to going with him.

Maybe you're developing a little crush on Taehyung and you just didn't notice it until now.

However, that's not a guarantee that Taehyung feels the same way as you do.

I was a little busy with work this week so I didn't have time to find more things happening in the news. However, I do want to encourage all of you to look at last week's update on the news because there are some scary things happening that we might be able to petition against.
