You're now patiently sitting at the pizza place, glancing around as you wait for Taehyung to show up. Biting onto your lower lip, you look down at your phone, already assuming he won't show up.

However, deep down, you know you're wrong and just cynical from the prior dates ending badly.

Despite this one not being a date, you still don't want to deal with the embarrassment that comes with him not showing up.

Gripping onto the lower half of your glass, you lift it, bringing the straw towards your lips before taking a sip of the fizzy beverage. Letting out a soft sigh, you set the glass back down onto the table.

Fifteen more minutes go by and you can't help but get nervous.

He is going to show up, right?

You bite onto your lower lip before taking another sip of your soda.

"Another refill?" you hear the voice of the waiter. You look up and nod your head, giving an uncomfortable smile.

"Yes, please." You state. "My friend should be here any minute." He arches an eyebrow while staring down at you before pouring more soda into your glass.

"If they aren't, we're going to have to give this booth to one of the other couples waiting for a table." He states while pointing towards the line that's now formed by the arcade area of the pizza place. You nod your head, letting out a soft sigh.

"Okay... just give me ten more minutes please." You sulk, causing the waiter to roll his eyes before nodding and stepping away from the table.

You quickly take your phone out of your pocket and unlock it, checking if Taehyung had sent any text messages to let you know that he'll be late.

Nothing.

Great, another stand up... a more hurtful one. One coming from one of your friends who you just started getting close to. You sigh before taking another sip of your drink, looking over at the waiter who is now tapping his index finger against his watch while looking over at you.

You shake your head before looking down at your glass.

Maybe you should just leave now and save yourself from embarrassment. You could always tell Taehyung that you ended up not needing his services because the date went well.

Or maybe you could-

"Ah, there you are." You hear a deep voice, causing you to grow excited. You turn your head towards the direction of the voice only to see Taehyung standing there. His hands are stuffed in his pockets while he's grinning down at you. "You look nice." You smile softly as he says this before gesturing for him to join you.

He's dressed in a white sweatshirt, a pair of sunglasses, blue jeans, and white sneakers.

"Thanks." You state before reaching your hand up, taking the straw in your glass between your fingertips. Twirling the straw around in the liquid, you new bubbles being created as you do this.

Taehyung sits across from you at the table. He places his elbows on the table, leaning forward. His chin is now rested on the palms of his hands as he leans onto his arms.

"I was hoping I wouldn't find you alone this time. That's why I came late... what happened?" he questions before licking his lips. You shrug your shoulders before gesturing towards the door.

"He was a no-show again." You state.

"Same guy?" You lie by nodding in agreement.

There was no date in the first place. Frankly, you just wanted to see Taehyung.

He softly sighs before shaking his head.

"You'd think he'd at least have the decency to say he's just not interested in you." He responds before a waiter approaches your table.

"Ah, so your date finally showed up." The waiter remarks as he steps towards your booth. "Now, are you two ready to order? We have a few couples waiting for some booths and she's been hogging this booth while waiting for you." He states towards Taehyung. You look over at Taehyung, giving a sad smile. You then shrug as you silently ask him if he's ready to order. He makes eye contact with you before grinning.

Removing his elbows from the table, he grabs the menu in front of him, scanning it quickly before nodding his head.

"I'll start off with a Coke and I'll have the spicy chicken wings." He states before holding the menu in front of you. "Baby, do you need another second to look at the menu?"

You grow flustered as he calls you this despite you knowing he's only doing it so you don't look bad in front of the waiter who saw you waiting for your date.

"I'll have a slice of pepperoni pizza, please." You state. Taehyung smiles before moving the menu away from you and towards the waiter.

The waiter takes the menu before walking off to get your orders started.

Taehyung then leans back in his seat, staring over at you. He then tilts his head to the side for a second before he speaks again.

"So, how'd your classes go today?" he questions. You shrug your shoulders.

"I turned in that one project I was telling you about. I got the results back and apparently I'm going to make a great architect." You state. This causes Taehyung to smile. "What about you? How was work?"

"I just got assigned a big company to come up with advertisements for." He states.

"Oh yeah? Which company?" you question while smiling over at him. He laughs softly.

"Legally, I can't say which one." He responds. "When the ad is out, I'll tell you." He states. You nod your head.

"If you could come up with all of the advertising for any brand, what brand would you choose?" you question. He tilts his head to the side as you ask this.

"Any brand?" You nod. "Hm... maybe Gucci." He states. You lift your eyebrows as you hear this.

"Really? You like Gucci?" you question. He nods.

"Yeah, I've always wanted to get a Gucci wallet." He states. You tilt your head to the side as you nod your head.

"Yeah, I feel the same... but for Louis Vuitton." You state. He smiles softly and nods his head.

"Alright. Here's your order." The waiter comes back with the food and Taehyung's drink. He places all of it onto the table and the two of you immediately dig in. "Enjoy your meal."

You and Taehyung thank the waiter.

"So, Y/N, what's your ideal guy like?" Taehyung questions. "With the amount of dates you've been going on, you're bound to meet him soon." You're taken aback by him randomly asking that. You finish chewing the bite of the pizza that you had taken before leaning back in your seat.

"Um... well, I want someone who gives me butterflies in my stomach every time I see them. Someone who makes me smile even when I feel like I can't smile. Someone who is always there for me and has my back. Someone who loves kids as much as I do." You state before taking another bite of your pizza.

Taehyung stares over at you, tilting his head to the side as you say this. He slowly nods along while listening to you.

"Sounds like a great guy." he states before taking a sip of his soda. He then licks his lips before looking over at you. "You know do deserve someone like that, right? These bad dates aren't getting to you... are they?" he questions. You nod your head.

"I know I deserve someone good and I believe everyone has someone for them." You state before reaching for your drink to take a sip of it too. After swallowing, you look over at him, making eye contact. "Even people like you who care more about others than themselves." Taehyung arches an eyebrow.

"And how do you know that I care more about others than myself?" he questions.

"You're here, aren't you?" you question. "You easily could be on your own date right now, or you could be out with friends, or you could be at home stuffing your face with hot wings while watching TV. But you're here." You state. He smiles before nodding his head.

"I guess you're right." He states before letting out a soft sigh. "So, if you're such a love expert despite not having a real love life right now, what kind of woman is out there for me?" he questions.

"A woman who won't take your kindness for granted. One who will let you express all of your emotions without judgment. One who listens and returns the kindness you give. One who showers you with affection and adoration." You state before taking another bite of your pizza. As you're saying this, Taehyung's eyes sparkle while staring over at you. "Oh, and let's not forget: one who will make sure you get laid five times a week and will give you as many children as you want." You finish, causing him to laugh loudly.

His boxy smile is now fully showing as he laughs, reaching his hand up to cover his face as he grows embarrassed.

"Five times a week, huh?" he questions. You shrug before taking a sip of your soda.

"Well, you deserve it with how kind you are to people." You state. "Not to mention the burden you put on yourself to take care of others. Your future woman has to know how to take that burden off of you. And what better way than sex?" you question. He laughs and shakes his head before eating one of his hot wings.

"You do have a good point there." He states before licking the excess spicy sauce that's on the side of his mouth. "We'll both find someone." He grins over at you. You nod your head before lifting up your drink and holding it up in the air.

He sees you doing this before nodding his head, lifting his glass as well. You clink your glasses together before both of you take a sip from your own glass, maintaining eye contact with one another.

"Here's to both of us finding our someone." You state. He nods his head before smiling over at you.

"And here's to the future, where we won't have to worry about bad dates." He adds onto what you said. You nod your head and let out a soft laugh before you go back to eating your pizza.

While you're laughing, he smiles over at you. As he realizes that he made any sadness that resulted from the no-show date go away, he can't help but feel content.

A monk released a private conversation he had with Namjoon the other day. I'm personally disgusted by him doing this. Namjoon wanted to talk to and confide in someone who he thought he could trust only for that person to go behind his back. He was even mad enough to go onto Instagram and post a statement about it. The fact that he can't even trust someone like a monk who is sworn to secrecy is horrible. I hope that monk lost his job for releasing someone's personal business into a news article.

I hope one day, BTS can get the privacy and treatment they deserve. It's not hard to not say anything. Like their tattoo artist who did their 7 tattoos, he didn't release anything about the tattoos until the members did. It's really not hard to keep shit to yourself and not gossip.

There was a police officer in Louisiana who is married to a middle school teacher. These two disgusting individuals decided to give her middle school class cupcakes made out of the cop's SEMEN. How fucking disgusting is that? You can't even trust your kids being in school without having weirdos like this working for the school AND for the police. He has been sentenced to 100 years in jail. Apparently, however, he was friends with a sheriff of Louisiana who was aware of this and DIDN'T DO SHIT to protect these children. This happened I believe in late 2021 to early 2022 but he just got the sentence a few days ago.

It's so scary to think that something as innocent as accepting a cupcake from a teacher could turn into something so vile. I really hope that the children and the parents of these children who ate the cupcakes are able to get some sort of settlement or something (even though this won't take away the trauma this caused for those young children).

Also, in Virginia, a teacher named Abigail Zwerner was shot by one of her 6-year-old students who is in first grade. A SIX YEAR OLD SHOT A TEACHER. And yet, in the US, it's "controversial" to try to raise gun control laws. Clearly, something needs to be done if a child this young thinks it's okay to shoot his teacher. This terrifies me thinking about how there are so many children who go to these schools and now they don't just have to worry about shootings in just high schools, but shootings from young children.

I really hope the world gets better. I know it's not likely because of all the crazy shit constantly happening but I'm hoping and praying this world gets better bc news stories like this are ridiculous. It's ridiculous we should be worrying about predators being teachers and cops and worrying about children this young shooting up schools.

I hope all of you are doing well and staying safe in times like this. If any of my readers are still in university or school, please always be alert of surroundings and do not ignore any gut feelings you have. If you feel like something bad is going to happen, talk to someone right away because 90% of the time, our guts are telling us something is wrong.

For any of my readers who are parents, please always keep an eye on your children. Always ask them about school, take it seriously when they say they don't trust a teacher or get a bad feeling from certain teachers or students. I know being a parent is already hard enough with social media, bullying, etc. and we can't predict these kinds of things but talking to your kids and teaching them what to do if any of these kinds of situations were to happen will definitely help a tiny bit.
