Chapter 114

"I am so proud of you." Jaxton said as I scanned my closet for an outfit for tonight.

"Proud of me?"

"Yeah, and Trevor too, he didn't go for the whole....friendship dinner stupid thing."

I rolled my eyes, smiling as I took out a black ripped jean and a blue office pants, I spun around to show Jaxton. "There's actually something about Trevor, I mean he's just...something else." I chuckled. "Which one? Black says Dylan, the office blue pants says Trevor, I think he's a sucker for pants like this."

"Hmm, you already know something about him." Jaxton said, smiling.

I had told Jaxton about what had happened earlier at the book store and he was shocked that I had ran into Trevor before screaming This Is Fate and then I almost regretted telling him because he started making a huge deal out of this.

"Anyways, none." He said as he got off the bed.

I frowned. "None? Why?"

"Because you are not going on a date with Henry, so I won't let you dress like you didn't even try." He said as he walked over to the closet.

I turned to look at him. "What is that supposed to mean?"

"I'm not saying you don't always look good when you go out with Henry, but...this isn't Henry," he said as he pulled out his blue luggage and zipped it open. "And lately you've been more of a....I don't know, not...you."

"Um, okay? But what are you looking for?" I asked as I walked over to the bed and sat on it, dropping the clothes I held on it.

"Let me guess, you were gonna wear a spongebob shirt with one of the pants." Jaxton asked, looking up at me.

"I....everybody loves spongebob."

Jaxton groaned. "Oh my God, you're like a grandma now, you don't even try." He said and took out a wine colored pant with a big grin, he threw it at me and I caught it. "It's a high waist pants, we wear the same size and it's a little office like, so, I'm sure it'd look goof on you. I only wore it once."

I admired the pants. "It is...nice but, I'm not going to Paris with him."

Jaxton scowled at me. "Isn't your date in like two hours?"

"So?"

"So, stop being a bitch and probably get ready."

This time, I scowled at him and turned my attention back to the pants. It was pretty nice, it had a little rope around the belt hook which meant no need for belts, obviously.

"Now, a top that would go with that." Jaxton said with a sigh.

"Black." I said and he looked back at me. "Black would go with this." I shrugged.

Jaxton grinned. "See, you haven't lost your fashion sense."

"But you've lost all sort of sense a person should have." I replied, fake smiling at him and he flipped me the bird.

My phone began to ring and Jaxton gasped loudly. "Oh my God, is it him?" He asked as I picked up my phone from the dresser.

"No, it's Christian." I replied and answered, putting it on loudspeaker. "Hey."

"Hey, Dylan."

"Any luck with finding out who the blogger is? I haven't heard from you all day."

"And that is because whoever this blogger is, is no dumb kid." He said and I frowned.

"What do you mean?"

"He or she is smart as fuck, they keep fighting me out, they know I'm trying to hack them and it's literally a war like playing fortnite, right now. If someone can block me off for this long, it's because they are just as good as me when it comes to this." He said and I looked at Jaxton.

"So, we are not just dealing with an average, dumb student." Jaxton said.

"Far from that," Christian chuckled softly. "But you don't worry, I'll have Simon help me with this."

His fourteen year old brother?

"Simon? Does he know how to do what you do?"

Christian chuckled. "I may have taught him, besides I guess it's a family thing. Dad used to fix computers and worked for an electronic company, so."

"Well, damn." Jaxton smiled. "That's awesome."

"So, you'll both try hack at the same time?" I asked.

"Yeah, we'll both jam the signal and I don't think whoever that is can fight both of us out."

"Alright, uh, thank you Christian."

"No need to thank me, we gotta get rid of whoever that person is."

"I agree." I muttered. "Whatever happens, call me."

"Alright, take care."

"Bye." I said and hung up.

"Well, looks like we're dealing with a Chuck Batowski or whatever his name is called." Jaxton said and sat beside me.

"Who could be that smart in school? Computer smart?"

Jaxton shrugged. "There are a lot of promising students in Eastwood high, but a lot of them hide their talents. Just like you won't play for the basketball team and I'm not in the music team in school, although mine isn't hiding my talent, I just don't wanna." He shrugged. "And that was why Mrs. Wilder wanted to see me earlier, to join the music class." He scoffed.

"Isn't she dealing with drama class?"

"She is but they are all entertainment, maybe she has a crush on Mr. Alex."

"And who is that?"

"The music teacher."

"Oh, right." I nodded. "Anyways," I got up. "I'm hungry and I'm going downstairs for some food."

"Snack." Jaxton corrected. "You're going on a date, you don't wanna eat a lot."

"What if we go bowling?"

"Snacks, Dylan, snacks." He warned.

"Fine." I sighed and walked out of the room.

***

"So," I said as I walked over to the kitchen where Mom, Jaxton and Sofía were. They all turned to me and mom cooed.

"Ooooh, look at you."

"Well, that is a glow up." Jaxton grinned.

I was dressed up in the pants Jaxton gave me, a black turtle neck and black shoes to match them. It wasn't too much yet it was much, I swear I'm fucking handsome, I deserve the best.

"How do I look, Sofía?"

"Like a prince." She replied and I giggled, pinching her nose gently.

"As I should." I kissed her cheek.

"So, what are we making?"

"Pie!!" Sofía answered, smiling widely.

"Oh. I want some."

"More importantly, where are you going?" Mom asked.

Oh, of course, I didn't tell her yet.

"I have a date."

She gasped. "With Henry?" She asked with a smile and my own smile slowly disappeared.

"No."

"H-His name is Trevor." Jaxton chimed in.

"Trevor? How come I haven't heard about him?" She inquired.

"He wasn't supposed to be important, but then I met him again." I answered with a shrug.

"Dylan," she called softly, I swear I could sense worry in her voice.

"Mom. Don't. You better not say anything like you sure you wanna go? Or something about how Henry is the one right now because I don't wanna have to sleep over at Zach's for a week but I will."

"No, no." She walked out of the kitchen and towards me. "Listen sweetie, I don't know who this Trevor guy is, but I'm glad he was able to make you dress up this way." She said, a smile on her face. "I'm glad you finally decided to go out, to not stay home during the weekends like you used to because honestly, I was starting to worry." She said and I smiled softly.

"The first step to moving on is actually moving on, making yourself know that you deserve all the good things, not holding on to the past, not staying in bed all day and thinking every relationship is the devil's puppet show." She said and placed her hands on both sides of my face. " I'm happy."

"Thanks, mom."

She nodded. "You're welcome, love."

My phone suddenly rang and I took it out of my pocket. "Shit, it's him, he's here."

"Oooh! I wanna see him." Jaxton said and jumped down from the stool.

"Me too!" Mom said and I gave them an irritated look.

"No." I shook my head at them. "You both are acting like kids and i can't deal, put yourself together and maybe one day I'll introduce him to you both, go back to making pie." I said as I began heading for the door.

"Fuck you, Dylan!" Jaxton yelled and mom slapped his mouth. "Ow!"

"Sofía's here!" She said and called out to me, I spun around to look at her. "Don't have sex and don't come home drunk, be back by ten sharp, latest ten thirty."

"Sure." I said and answered Trevor's call. "Hey,"

"Are you coming out anytime soon or should I come save you from whatever trouble you're facing."

"I'm not facing any trouble." I smiled.

"Are you sure? No werewolf trying to take advantage of you or something? I know a little martial art myself."

I chuckled. "I think I can handle a Derek Hale."

"You or..."

"My ass, I mean."

"As I thought." He said and I grinned, I opened the door and exited the house and right in front of our house was a car, a black Camry. I had texted Trevor my address an hour ago, he was dressed up in blue office pants and a white fitted shirt, resting against his car with his legs crossed.

He was so handsome, sexy actually. His face lit up once he saw me and he grinned. "Wow." He said from over the phone as I approached him.

"Wow." I replied and hung up as I got to him.

"Are you....my date?"

"Me? Oh no, I'm uh, I'm actually on my way to my sugar daddy's funeral, you must be the Uber I ordered."

"Actually, I'm not."

"Really? I'm sorry, I thought you were him, I just...he told me he was here." I said as I looked around. "Stupid shitbag."

He smiled. "Well, since my date bailed on me and your Uber went elsewhere, how about I take you on a date instead of your sugar daddy's funeral? It'd be toxic anyways and besides, you'll have like fifty percent of his property."

"Seventy." I corrected. "I didn't kill him to get just fifty."

He blinked. "Well, damn, a hot murderer."

I beamed. "Thanks for the compliment." I said and he grinned.

"You are...beautiful. I hope you don't mind me calling you that."

I shook my head. "No, I don't mind. You're beautiful too."

"Thankfully, I like being called beautiful because I don't do that toxic masculinity shit." He said and I chuckled.

His smile was really beautiful, he always managed to look good somehow.

"So, shall we?"

I nodded. "I should warn you, if you're rich, I'll probably kill you."

"As long as I die with you by my side, I don't think i want anything more." He said and placed his hand on his chest.

"Aw, you're so sweet, Richard."

"Thank you, Karan." He said and we both snickered.

"Ah!" He quickly opened the car door. "I'm supposed to be a gentleman, I'm sorry I forgot the red carpet."

"Oh, it's okay, I'm not a fan of it." I said as I got in. Trevor chuckled as he gently closed the door while I fixed my seatbelt. He walked over to the other side and got into the driver's seat, he shut the door and strapped his seatbelt.

"So, where are we going?" I inquired.

"On a date, duh." He replied and I scoffed.

"You are something else, Trev."

"I know, Dyl." He said and my heart stopped at that moment.

I suddenly felt cold and remained silent while he drove.

"So, do you have any questions for me?" He asked and I looked away from the window and at him.

"Shouldn't we do that at the date?"

"Well, true, I'm so dumb, I'm sorry I left the important part of my brain at home." He said and I laughed.

"You mean all of it."

"Don't be mean, Dylan, I'll kick you out."

"You won't."

"You're lucky you're handsome as fuck."

"Not beautiful?"

"You can be both if you wanna be, princess." He said and I smiled.

"I guess I'm just extremely gorgeous, I get it." I said with a dramatic sigh.

Trevor laughed. "Don't get too cocky."

***

"Where is this?" I asked as I stared at the tall ass building Trevor had brought me to, it was dark and seemed way longer than Phoenix. We had been on the road for over thirty sometimes minutes and Trevor wouldn't tell me where we were going because this place was far as hell, it was about a thirty three minutes ride because he had to drive really fast, I didn't complain because I'm a sucker for fast cars and drivers.

This place looked really different and beautiful, the streets were bright with all the lights, looking like it wasn't almost nine o'clock. There were a lot of tall buildings and shops around, a big jewelry store was close to the building I was standing in front of me, it was the only building with no lights. I wonder how many storeys this is, I can't even see the top properly.

"Fifty." Trevor said, standing beside me.

"What?" I asked, turning to face him.

"Fifty storeys."

"Wow. Why does a town like Eastwood have sixty storeys? I mean, not shaming Eastwood but I'm starting to think it's a town for only reach people."

Trevor chuckled. "Eastwood? No, we are not in Eastwood."

I frowned, flummoxed. "What?"

"This isn't Eastwood."

"T-Then where are we?"

"Ashgrove."

"Ash what now?"

"Ashgrove, it's for forty minutes drive from Eastwood but I had to go faster so we could arrive ten minutes earlier." He said with a proud smile.

"Wait, where is Ashgrove?"

"Outside Eastwood, catch up, Dylan." He said and I blinked.

"This is my first time hearing about Ashgrove."

Trevor frowned at me. "You're joking."

"No. I only know Westbrick and that place is far as hell."

He nodded. "Yeah, Westbrick is far but Ashgrove is like from New York to New Jersey or like Surulere to badagary without traffic."

"I don't know the second one but the first one, I get it." I said and he chuckled.

"Surulere is in Nigeria." He said and smiled at me. "Shall we?"

"In there? Why doesn't it have any light?"

"The building is on lock down, the owner was a drug dealer and he's in jail, so everyone was vacated or well....fired." He shrugged.

"And we are going on?"

"Chill, the security guards don't come out today." He said and offered me his hand. "Shall we?"

"Uh," I looked at the building and back at his hand. "Okay." I took his hand. "But if you try to kill me, I'll stab you and bath in your blood."

"I'm looking forward to that." He said with a nod. I smiled and we both went inside, he led me to the stairs and looked at me. "We're climbing."

"To the last floor?"

"Yeah."

"Oh, hell no." I shook my head and turned to leave but he didn't let go.

"Come on, I wanna show you something."

"What about the elevator?"

"There is no power supply."

"Trevor, I can't walk to the top of the building." I said and he let go off my hand.

"I'll race you to the top." He said and ran up the stairs.

"Tre-" I sighed. "Fuck!" I followed. "Don't run, your energy is needed for the entire stairs!!" I yelled.

We kept walking, talking about random things and cracking jokes like we were old friends. At first, I wasn't feeling the whole stairs thing because he took my mind off it but when I started to sweat and my legs started to hurt, I realized we had walked to ten and I stopped.

"Trevor, I will turn around right now if you don't—"

"Ah!" He smiled, cutting me off as he looked at his phone. "I think we can take the elevator now, it's back on."

I huffed. "Bitch."

We walked into the particular floor and into the elevator and it took us straight to the rooftop.

"You did good." He said.

"I wanna say the same but can't."

"That was exhausting but thank you for the encouragement, Karen."

"You're welcome, Richard." I said and looked ahead. I was suddenly overwhelmed by what was right in front of me, I hadn't even noticed it the second we got here.

There was a table with two chairs across each other, a red cloth spread around the table. There was a basket on it and about three candles on the table and around the table to give the roof a little light, they were in a small glass container to avoid the wind from blowing them all off.

"Trevor." I softly called as I took a couple of steps forward. "This is..."

It was beautiful.

I turned to face him, he had a smile on his face, his hands on his hips as he breathed heavily.

"You like?"

"It's beautiful." I smiled.

"I didn't think I'd show up all sweaty, I swear it wasn't like this when I first saw this spot." He said and I chuckled.

I made my way to the edge and looked at the tall buildings, all filled with light, I felt like some celebrity in Hollywood or las Vegas, this was a beautiful sight, I had only seen things like this in movies or read about them.

"Wow."

"I know right?" He said, suddenly standing beside me. "This building has the greatest view, you can see tall ass buildings, cars like ants, literally everything." He said and I smiled.

"I....I haven't seen anything like this."

"Really?"

I nodded. "Makes me feel like I'm in a movie or something."

"This is the part where I kiss you if it was a movie but that would be inappropriate since this real life." He said and I laughed.

"Yeah, it would be." I said and looked back at the sight before me, a big smile on my face when I heard a camera sound and felt a flash on my face. I quickly looked at him. "Did you just take a photo of me?"

"I sure did." He said with a smile as he stared at his phone. "Wow, an unaware photo of you is spectacular." He said and I became curious.

"Let me see." I said, moving closer to him and looking into his phone and damn, I did look good.

"I'm sexy."

He chuckled. "You sure are." He said and I snickered.

"Come on," he held my hand and led me to the table. He pulled the chair out for me and I sat on it, muttering a thank you. He pushed it back gently and walked over to sit across me.

"So, I know I could have taken you to like a famous restaurant that's on top of a building or something but then that wouldn't have been romantic or something really worth remembering." He said with a shrug. "I wanted it to be something you wouldn't forget. The long suspense drive, the stairs, the cheering, the sight and then dinner." He said and I had to admit I was impressed.

"You're good at this, you really had this all figured out."

"Nah, don't compliment me, I might start to blush." He said and I chuckled. "Well," he took the heavy basket from the table and dropped it on the floor beside him. "For dinner, we have, okay wait," he cleared his throat.

"What?"

"Don't take this as an insult but I see you as a person who doesn't like anything too fancy when it comes to food because you're more of a junk food slash fast food kinda guy."

"Well, no offence taken and true, I'm a fast food person." I nodded, smiling.

"Thank God, because I got us hamburgers,"

"Oooh," I grinned.

"There are a lot of things in this basket." He chuckled.

"Please waiter, tell me what we are having."

"Okay, customer." He said and I laughed.

"We have hamburgers on the list,"

"Ooookay."

"Sushi, gnocchi, crab cakes, barbecue ribs, pizza and wine."

"We're eating everything right?"

"Oh definitely, of course. I'm a foodie and I have never tried gnocchi before but I thought I could try it with you."

"Great then, because on the list of things that I have eaten, gnocchi isn't one of them either, so I guess we'll just have to eat it together."

"Well would you look at that," he smiled. "It's like you know what's in my heart." He dramatically said and I laughed.

"Okay, first, we're starting with hamburgers."

"Gimme, gimme, gimme, I'm starving." I sighed.

Trevor chuckled. "Your free spirited ways is something I admire." He said as he brought the basket back to the table. "I was gonna keep it down so it doesn't disturb me when I wanna look at your face but I can't serve from down here." He said and I snickered.

"You can still see my face."

"Yes, thanks to the candles and the moon of course and...my eyes."

I chuckled. "Get away."

Trevor placed a hamburger on my plate and one on his. "This hamburgers, were made in Ashgrove. There's an amazing diner here that I have been obsessed with since I was a teenager and I came here during the summer, it hasn't actually changed, the taste of the hamburgers."

"You praise it a lot."

"Why don't you eat and tell me what you think."

"Oh, I'm definitely going to eat." I picked up the hamburger and took a bite out of it. Trevor kept looking at me with a smile on his face while he waited.

"Thoughts?"

"Fuck! They are delicious!" I said as I chewed.

Trevor laughed. "I told you."

"What is in this?" I asked as I took another bite.

"Spider eggs, cat fur and some other voodoo stuff."

"Is there baby liver in this?" I asked in a whisper and he nodded.

"You bet your ass there is."

"This just makes it better." I said and he laughed.

"You're crazy."

"Your crazy matches my crazy." I chuckled.

"True." He agreed and as he ate his. "So, question time." He said as he chewed.

"Hmm," I put my hamburger down and swallowed while Trevor opened the bottle of red wine, startling me. "I'm surprised you didn't blind me."

"I could only blind you with cum."

"Touché, Trevor."

He winked as he poured the wine into our glasses. "Okay, shoot your questions."

"Okay, uh, how old are you?" I asked, just to be safe.

"Hmm, good question. I am, two-zero. Twenty, will be twenty one in march." He said as he took a sip from his wine. "You?"

"One-seven, seventeen, will be eighteen next month."

He blinked. "Oh, this is illegal, isn't it? What are we gonna do now? Are we gonna get married secretly?"

I giggled. "You need to propose first before we get married. Anyways, if you're twenty then you're in college, right?"

He nodded. "Yup, second year, I also run my father's business since he's ill. I have been trained in the department and that is why I'm here instead of in class but it doesn't mean I don't know what is happening in class at the moment."

"Interesting. So, you grew up in Nigeria?

"Oh no. Well, I was born in Nigeria, I lived there till I was like....five then we came to Eastwood and I went to highschool at Eastwood high but only for a short while, I finished in a school at Minnesota. Studying currently at a university in London and yeah, that explains it."

"Wow. I'm also attending Eastwood high, it's a problematic school. Was it always that way?"

"Oh, definitely." He nodded. "I hated it there, but the best things always happen there. It's a complicated relationship I have with Eastwood high, I love it but I also hate it."

"I get that."

"And you? If you don't know Ashgrove then you haven't been living here from the beginning."

"I moved here last year from San Diego. This would be our third, I think. Uh, graduating this year and uh hoping I get accepted into Harvard."

"Harvard?" He asked and I nodded. "Wow, that's impressive, and they'd be stupid not to choose you."

"Because I'm awesome?" I asked as I ate.

"Because you're awesome."

I laughed.

"Okay, my turn." I cleared my throat. "Uh, have you visited Nigeria since you moved?"

"Oh, yeah, twice." He nodded. "It's a good place just....messed up."

"How so?"

"For starters, the country is homophobic and their leaders have their head far up their ass. The citizens are waiting for some Messiah to come save them when they could all come together and stand for themselves but I can't exactly blame them because they'd be killed." He shrugged. "The best thing for anyone to do there, is to run away, then you're safe, then you're prosperous because that country will suck out your life source and give you depression to feed on."

"That sucks."

Trevor nodded. "It does. I'm glad I got out when I could, I've got friends there who well....it's just shitty."

"You know what I think? I think, Nigeria is a great place, they've got a lot of resources and could become one of the greatest, most powerful country if they wanted but their leaders are slacking, they don't want that to happen because then, where's the money gonna come from?"

"Exactly." Trevor nodded. "You get it."

I laughed. "I do."

"Anyways, my turn to ask." He said and I nodded.

"Go ahead."

"Something embarrassing about yourself that you haven't told anyone."

"Oh God, Trevor, I was being nice to you."

"Hey, that's not my business." He said and I scoffed.

"You cheat."

"Go on, I'm listening." He grinned.

"Okay, uh, when I was seven, my family and I had gone for a thanksgiving dinner at my aunt's place, we also had another relative there, with his kids and uh..... we were all at the dinning, she was praying for the food and you know, I wanted to sneeze so bad, I tried to hold it but I couldn't and when I did, I ended up farrting." I said and his jaw dropped.

"No!" He exclaimed, holding back a laugh.

"Oh yes, and there was this awful stench because I had a lot of candy the night before and so many junk food, soups and what not and when I farted, I released a poisonous gas which made everyone leave the table."

Trevor laughed so hard, he wouldn't stop no matter how much I told him to stop, he soon got teary from so much laughter. "I'm sorry, I can't help it." He said, in between laughs.

"I mean, it's not my fault."

"Sure, and what'd they say to you?"

"Oh, they didn't know it was me. I made them believe it was my aunt's son who did it, I couldn't have it get traced back to me."

His jaw dripped again. "You're evil." He said as he snickered.

"A guy's gotta save himself from public humiliation, ugh, that is so embarrassing."

"I think about eighty five percent of people in the world has done this, if not more. I mean, I think it is common for it to happen but no one would admit it."

"Have you?"

"Oh, God no." He said and resumed laughing again as if I had told the story for the first time.

"I hate you, Trevor."

"I'm sorry." He laughed. "I'm sorry." He wiped his tears.

"You've gotta have an embarrassing story, a moment. Everyone has." I stated.

"Not me."

"Trevor, don't lie."

"Okay, okay, fine." He sighed. "Uh, this happened last year. My father was invited to a big business event, more like an award for businesses kinda stuff. To be recognized, appreciated and all that stuff," he explained and I nodded in understanding "And uh, my father couldn't make it so I went instead, in order to represent him and the company."

"Mmhmm."

"My father's company was awarded fast rising business because he has a branch in Asia and four months of opening that branch there, business was booming faster than we expected. I went to take the award on his behalf and uh, I gave a little speech for him in front of big, rich and respected business owners, investors and hell Zuckerberg was there." He said and my eyes widen. "Now, I have been trained for this moment but something happened, while giving my speech, I was supposed to say the word Annual but I ended up saying Anal. I said the word Anal, two times."

My jaw dropped as I gasped loudly. "No, you didn't!"

"I...I don't know how that happened but my English just....failed me."

I laughed. "Oh my God, I'm having second-hand embarrassment from picturing this, oh my God, Trevor, no."

He snickered. "I didn't mean to!! It just slipped."

"And what'd your father say? Was he mad?"

"Oh no, he actually laughed about it. My father's a pretty open guy, he's super serious when it comes to his business but he loves his family and makes time." He said and I smiled.

"Well, that's cute. Everybody in this town had some kinda daddy issues when I first met them, including me but everything's been sorted out....well, some of them." I said and he chuckled.

"And you had something to do with this?"

"Maybe." I shrugged.

Trevor smiled. "Impressive. Okay, up next, we're having....sushi." He said and stood up.

"Oooh yes." I grinned.

"You rate the hamburger?"

"Uh....I'd say a seven, I mean I don't know what to expect so let's go with a seven."

"Damn, a seven for a hamburger you finished in no time?" He teased and I laughed.

"Fuck off."

"Anyways, while having sushi, we're gonna get into another set of questions, a private or...sexual kind." He said as he served me and himself.

"Oh, really now?"

"Mmhmm." He nodded. "It's call sushi and chill." He said and I almost choked.

"What? So it ain't Netflix and chill anymore?"

"Well, this ain't Netflix. Sushi and chill is a game I invented today, actually right now." He said before sitting while I laughed. "In this game, you are not supposed to lie at all or your guilt will haunt you, so, no lies and nothing but the truth." He said, staring at me like he knew I was gonna tell a few lies.

"You look like you don't trust me." I said and he scoffed.

"I don't." He said and I gasped.

"I hate you, Trevor."

He snickered. "Me too, Dyl."

I gulped once he used that name again. "Uh...okay fine, I won't lie, so ask."

"Okay, but I will ask when we take a bite." He said and I squealed.

'Ugh, it smells fucking delicious and looks so good." I said as I stared at it, my mouth watering already.

"Well, dig in." He said and I did without being told a second time. I moaned as I ate, shutting my eyes for a brief second.

"Where the hell do you find these food? What the fuck? This is heavenly!" I exclaimed.

He laughed. "Dates are a big deal for me so I do everything I can." He shrugged. "And where I found it is a secret." He said and ate his, moaning afterwards. "Oh my God, this is so good."

"Right?!!"

He nodded. "Okay, your question, Dylan."

Uh oh.

I looked up at him, taking a sip from my wine. "Okay, ask." I placed the glass back on the table.

"What's your body count?" He asked and I groaned.

"Well, wow."

"What?" He chuckled.

"I wasn't...expecting that, um okay, I think three, or wait, four? No, three, definitely three."

"Wow, Dylan, you're not even sure."

"I'm sure!!! It has to be three, I've only ever dated two guys and slept with three, so." I shurgged. "What about....wait, I don't wanna ask the same question. Tell me, the last time you actually had sex." I said as I ate.

His brows furrowed. "Uh, okay. That would be.....a month ago, yes." He nodded.

"Well, who was he? You gotta tell me."

"He was a stripper, I think his name was Gideon or Finn, I don't know." He said and I gasped loudly.

"Whaaat?!!!! Trevor!" I ended up laughing.

"Hey! Don't judge me, we are all sinners." He said and I rose my hands.

"I'm not judging, stripper man."

"Okay, my turn," he cleared his throat as I ate. "Favorite sex position."

"Oh my God, Trevor, you're such a perv." I said and he laughed, throwing his head backwards.

"What?!!"

"I'm not entirely complaining, I like that you're pretty open but damn boy!"

He chuckled. "Hey, you can't lie."

"I don't think I have one, I mean I just go with the flow, everything just happens to be a perfect sex position with an experienced guy." I answered.

"Are you lying?"

"No."

"Dylan."

"I'm not! Okay, but if I were to choose, I love the spoon sex, cow girl reverse and missionary sex hits differently when you're sort of connected to that person and his dick is big." I said and took a sip from my glass.

"Wow! Wow! And you were giving me that bullshit of every sex is perfect with an experienced guy."

"That counts too." I chuckled. "What about you?"

"The swing, air ride, uh....the butterfly is pretty cool too and dad and dad." He answered casually, and I just stared at him, speechless. He chuckled. "What?"

"I have no idea what those are except for dad and dad, Jesus Christ, you really are a whore."

"Says the guy who have tried countless sex positions to know they are all awesome."

"Hey! I never said I tried them all."

"Cow girl reverse?"

"Boy, fuck you."

We played some more, asking sexual questions and it wasn't awkward at all, talking about these sort of things with him.

"Next, gnocchi."

"Sounds like a spell but I'm here for it." I said and with a smile, he stood up, took out a flask in the basket and served our plates.

"Do you exactly know what they are?" He asked as he served them.

"My mom's a chef so yeah."

"Your mom's a chef and you've never tasted gnocchi?" He asked, surprised.

I shrugged. "She's never really made them at home, I mean I remember one time she said to taste it back in Seattle but I was heading out with my best friend and I didn't like it's face so I said Ew."

Trevor laughed before sitting. "You are a mess."

"You too, Dyl"

"Can you not call me Dyl?" I asked and he frowned.

"Why?"

"Brings back memories that I don't want." I replied and he nodded.

"I'm sorry, I've been calling you that, I-"

"No, it's okay. I just...you didn't know. Anyways, are there any games for this one?"

"Yes." He nodded. "It's a serious kind."

I looked at the gnocchi before me. "Why? Because the food looks serious?"

"Maybe."

"Okay, ask."

"Did you go on this date because you thought to give me a chance or because there's another reason?" He asked and I choked on my food, I quickly took a long sip of wine and sighed.

"Wow, this is....really good."

"Dylan," he called and i turned to him.

"I can't believe I didn't try this for years, oh God."

"You're dodging the question."

I chewed slowly. "I...I did it to prove that I wasn't still holding on to my past relationship."

"Explain."

"I broke up with my boyfriend two months ago and uh, yeah it was crazy cause he was the first guy I ever fell for and uh....I may have become a nun like person after that cause everyone said I became boring." I said and he chuckled. "My best friend was worried about me, she asked me severally to call you but I didn't because I didn't think I was ready for it, then I thought to give you a chance and myself, I needed to move on."

"The boyfriend, he used to call you Dyl?" He asked and I looked up at him, he had quickly figured that out.

I nodded. "Yeah, he used to call me that a lot."

"What happened?"

"He...cheated."

"Well, he's stupid."

I shrugged. "It happened at a party and the truth is, I don't even recall half the things that happened that night. I know I was going in and out of my mind cause I was drunk but uh, when I saw them together, I asked him. I needed him to tell me something, but he said nothing." I forced a smile.

"I'm sorry that happened."

I shrugged again. "It's okay."

"So, if I can't call you Dyl, can I call you Lan? Or Ylan? Or Dyan."

I laughed uncontrollably. "No, Dylan is just fine."

"Are you sure?"

"Very. I don't want any of those." I said in between laughs.

"Listen, I'm glad I'm able to make you laugh and forget a lot. You should know the first step to moving on is actually moving on," he said and I frowned. "Not holding on to the past and wishing everything would get better, or staying in bed and shutting yourself out from the world."

My brows furrowed. "Is there....like a book for this because you sound just like my mother right now." I said and he snickered.

"It only means your mom and I are smart as fuck."

"Mmhmm, sure."

"I'm glad you chose to come out with me."

I smiled. "I'm glad I did too because I haven't tasted so much food in my life before." I said and he laughed.

***

"Oh my God, I'm so full." I groaned. We had eaten literally everything he brought and I felt like I had swallowed two infants. Wait, that's not right, let me rephrase; I felt like I was pregnant with twins.

"The food was delicious, Trev."

"I know an amazing chocolate store down the street." He smiled.

"Really? Wait, it's like past eleven and I don't think I should eat anything else."

"They've got the best chocolates."

"I believe you and I want them but I'm scared.

He chuckled.

"But wait a sec, now we have to walk down that stairs? That is like so much work, I might fall and die from being pregnant." I whined.

He chuckled. "Who said anything about the stairs?" He said and took out his phone.

I frowned. "Then how are we gonna go? Are we jumping? Oh my God, are you a gay batman?" I asked and he guffawed.

"You're crazy, you know?" He said as he typed away on his cellphone.

"Thank you for the compliment, Richard." I smiled.

"Aaaand done." He said and put away his phone.

"What's done?"

"Our ride will be here any minute." He said, flashing me a smile.

"You mean the car downstairs? Is it a transformer?" I asked and he chuckled.

"Not the car." He said as he took a sip from his glass with furrowed brows.

I huffed. "What? It's like not a helicopter will come pick us." I chuckled but he wasn't laughing and just smiled.

Then I heard it, the actual sound of a helicopter. I looked to the sky and spotted one heading our direction, I looked back at him with wide eyes. "Tell me that is just coincidentally passing and that is certainly not for us." I said and he tsked.

"I don't wanna lie."

What the fuck?

"Is this....is this real? I mean, how the hell do you have a helicopter? How rich are you?"

He just smirked like an egoistic scumbag, except he wasn't a scumbag and he was hot so let's just say he smirked.

"I'm not rich, I just....have money." He shrugged and stood up. "Come on." He said and I stood up as well, walking to him and standing beside him as the helicopter slowly landed on the building.

"I've never been on a helicopter before, I'm low key screaming right now, Trevor, because I'm shook!"

"You're actually screaming!" He screamed back due to the noise from the helicopter.

"This is just the helicopter making me scream! If I let out my inner scream, it'd feel like I have no class."

Trevor chuckled. "Says the guy who farted during Thanksgiving dinner." He said and my jaw dropped.

"You did not just use that against me!" I said, smacking his shoulder.

He held back a laugh. "Come on!" He held my hand and led me to the helicopter. There was a man at the entrance, a smile on his face, he had a helmet on and wore a vest too.

"Good evening, Mr. Nnannah." He greeted

"Hello, Kevin." He replied as we rushed in and as it slowly rose from the ground, I held Trevor's arm. I was seated in the middle and being shielded by two men but that doesn't mean I get to freak out a little.

"I can't believe you have an actual helicopter."

"I don't. I rented it." He replied, smiling at me.

"And you made us walk fifty storeys, Trevor. Fifty." I stated and he pouted.

"Wasn't that romantic?"

"You know what else I think is romantic? Pushing you off this helicopter."

"I'd rather we die together."

I scoffed, rolling my eyes at him as I held back a smile. I leaned, looking down and Trevor gently pushed me down.

"You sure you wanna look? Wouldn't that-"

"Please, I am no damsel."

"Alright, princess, feed your eyes."

And I did.

This had to be one of the best dates I had been on, he bought me the chocolates, we had a few in his car while he drove me home and he was right, this was the fucking best chocolate I had ever tasted all that's to him.

"So, I'll see you again?"

"Of course, I really had a nice time tonight and you are pretty funny, that's a plus."

"So, if you were to rate this date, an over ten, what would it be?"

"I'd say a nine."

"Why not a ten?" He asked with a pout. "The helicopter should have done it."

I chuckled. "That's why it's a nine. It was a great date and I don't give out tens."

"Oh, so you are that kind of a lecturer."

"Fuck you, Trevor."

"Right now? Because I'm down." He said and I gave him a look before laughing.

"My mom's gonna kill me, I'm getting home around past twelve and she told me to be back by ten thirty."

"So, should we run away, or?"

I smiled. "I'd love to run away but then I won't graduate and I need to."

"Fair point."

"I really had a nice time, Trevor." I said, looking at him. "Thank you."

"I had a great time too, it was one of the best dates ever because you were fun, better." He said and I beamed.

"So, how would you rate me on this date then?"

"An over ten?" He asked and I nodded. "An eight."

I gasped. "I gave you a nine."

"I don't give nines or tens." He said and I huffed.

"You are so crazy, i swear." I said while chuckling.

"Your crazy matches my crazy." He said, a big smile on his face.

I stared at him, smiling like a highschool girl whom her crush just admitted had a crush on her and he just stared at me. It became intense, the tension in the car, I stared at his lips and I knew he was thinking the same thing as me. I swallowed as he moved closer, I didn't move and let him come closer, I felt tempted to taste his lips, to kiss him.

But I couldn't.

Once his lips almost touched mine, I moved away and looked ahead, he moved back, resting his back on his seat.

"I'm sorry, I thought..."

"No, no, it's fine, it's not you."

"Oh God, don't break up with me now, Dylan." He said and I chuckled.

"What?"

"That's the line they use in almost every breakup, don't say it's not me, it's you."

"I-I wasn't gonna say that." I lied.

"Yeah, what were you gonna say? You are married?"

I laughed. "Maybe I have a Russian husband."

"What about us?! What about everything we've been through?!" He dramatically said and my brows furrowed in surprise once I realized what he was doing.

"What about trust?" He asked and I tried to hold back a laugh.

"You know I never wanted to hurt you." I said and he sighed.

"What about me?" He said and I couldn't hold back the laugh any longer, I snorted out a laughter and he joined, laughing as well.

"That line was fucking stupid, wasn't that supposed to fine before you know I never wanted to hurt you?"

"Ask high school musical not me."

I laughed. "Stupid."

"Ugh, I don't want this night to end but I gotta go."

"What am I supposed to do?" He asked and I looked at him with a smile.

"I gotta leave but I'll miss you." I said and opened the car door. "Goodnight, Trevor."

"Night, Dylan." He said as I got out.

"Text me when you get home?"

"Don't fall asleep."

"It's the weekend, I wouldn't." I said before closing the door. I moved to the side and waved at him as he reversed, he smiled at me, waving back before driving off. Trevor had parked two houses before mine because I didn't want mom to wake up, that is if she was asleep, i needed to sneak in and if she sees the light or hears the engine then I'm totally done for.

I took out my phone with a sigh as I headed for the door, I had put it on silent on our way to Ashgrove because Raven and Jaxton kept blowing up my phone. I had thirteen missed call from mom and seven from dad, this was what I was afraid of. On WhatsApp there were lots of messages from Raven and Jaxton that I wasn't gonna reply until I got in. I took out my spare key as I got to the door but before I could put it in, the door opened and Jaxton appeared.

My eyes widen. "Jaxt-"

He placed a finger on his lips. "Your parents are so mad that you haven't been answering, a little noise and they'll come down and kill you."

I silently walked into the house and Jaxton gently closed the door, locking it. "Oh my God, you have to tell me everything." He whisper yelled, he was dressed in a spiderman boxer and a black polo.

"Shouldn't we go up first?"

We silently walked up the stairs and into my room, closing the door.

"What time did they sleep?"

"Around like...past eleven?"

"Oh, okay, I could say i came in past eleven."

"Why did you stay out so late?!' Jaxton questioned as he sat on the bed.

" I'm sorry, I lost track of time." I said as I took off my shoes.

"Well look at you smiling." Jaxton said. I hadn't even realized I was smiling. "You were ignoring my messages but I forgive you because I love you, so, tell me everything." He said and I sighed.

"Okay," I sat on the bed. "Can I shower first?"

"No."

"I realized today that I could have mansions in my name, I could become filthy rich if I wanted to but I am no gold digger."

"What do you mean?"

"Ever since I came to Eastwood high I realized that I'm like...crazy hot, I attract rich guys and this town is full of them, they keep coming after me. Well, except for Christian who isn't rich but you get the point."

"Isn't it just Henry?"

"No. Cameron Turner and now Trevor, who brought a helicopter."

Jaxton gasped loudly and quickly covered his mouth to avoid waking my parents. "Shut. Up."

"This is crazy, he's crazy." I chuckled.

"Well, give me more details." He said, sounding intrigued.

"Okay, so, our date took place in Ashgrove."

"Wait, what? He took you there?"

I nodded. "Mmhmm, and guess what happens next,"

"What?"

I smiled and began telling him everything when I saw my phone screen come up, I picked it up and realized it was ringing. I needed to take this off silent.

"Is that him?"

"Actually, it's Christian." I said with a frown before answering, putting it on speaker.

"Christian, hey."

"Ugh, thank God, I've been trying to get to you for over thirty minutes now."

"I'm sorry, I wasn't available, what's up?"

"We cracked it!"

"You've been working on it all night?" I asked, perplexed.

"Yeah, well, I also needed an answer. Simon passed out about two and a half hours ago, so I had to wait for my Dad get home and I asked for his help. We've been working on it and we finally got in, you wouldn't believe who it is behind that blog, Dylan, it's fucking crazy."

I looked at Jaxton, the suspense building up. Jaxton looked like he was holding on to his breath as well, his eyes fixed on me.

"Who is it?" I asked.

And when he mentioned the name, my heart sank, I couldn't believe it and neither could Jaxton, I'm pretty sure no one could have guessed it.

"Joshua."
