Chapter 23

~•Raven's POV•~

I couldn't wait to tell the boys what I found out concerning Rebecca and Camille, those perfect cousins of mine. Brown didn't know I was Nixon's sister and I decided to keep it that way so Nixon would never know . I met him at a coffee shop yesterday and he handed me a folder on everything he could find and told me all he was able to dig out. Turns out they weren't on some holiday like that lady also told me, in fact they were both expelled from school for doing drugs

Amphetamis and Baclofen

I remember smiling like the winner I was, they were caught doing it and were selling it to students and so they got expelled and turns out their parents also knew about it and gave them the idea of coming over to our place for a while and the best part is their parents knew about it and brought them here. Dad would be so furious and I was going to tell him today when he gets home. Their expulsion letter was now in our hands and brown was able to get the phone conversation of Rebecca and her dad talking about this. Perfect and I just wanted to tell the boys first.

I couldn't find Dylan anywhere and it was weird cause sometimes we always see each other at the hall. I spotted Jaxton at his locker but where was Dylan? And so I approached him.

"Hey you"

"Hey" he smiled back at me and shut his locker. "What's up ?"

"Meh. Good. Where is Dylan anyway? Aren't you two always together before the bell rings? I have some exciting news to tell you losers."

"Dylan's been having a bad day" he sighed.

I frowned.

"What happened?" I asked as we begun to walk.

"He went all crazy on his dad today, like he legit yelled at him like he was talking to henry"

"What?" My eyes widen. "Why?"

"I don't know but I have a it has to do with Isaac"

"I'm sorry who is Isaac?" I blinked confused.

He shrugged. "I have no idea but Isaac is someone close to him. His mom mentioned that name to me but won't tell me who Isaac is" he sighed frustratedly.

"And what is the connection between Isaac and his dad?" I asked curiously.

He shrugged again. "No idea. But his mom did say something about Isaac and how he was the cause of Dylan once being dark and I think he remembered him"

This was new to me, I was worried already and then my eyes met Zach's. He was walking with henry, he was saying something and I knew it was about me, he smirked and I gave him a fake smile and looked away.

I wonder what he's saying to henry.

"Maybe Isaac was a boyfriend or an ex and his dad didn't approve. Maybe his dad did something and moved them cause of Isaac or I don't know" I sighed.

"He told his dad to bring him back. His words. 'Bring him back" Jaxton said, worry in his tone.

"So jail then? Or shipped away or...maybe dead" These were the ideas in my head.

"Maybe"

"And you don't know where he is?" I asked.

"I tried talking to him this morning and he yelled at me and walked without me and I didn't even stop him. He looked like the statue of angerty"

"That makes no sense" I gave him a blank expression.

"I'm just trying to explain how angry he was"

"He actually yelled at you?"

He nodded.

"Wow. We have to find him" I sighed. "...and cheer him up"
Then the bell rang. "I'll see you at lunch, we'll see him then and talk to him"

"Alright then" he sighed. "Bye" he said and we went separate ways.

I walked into the cafeteria like the diva I was but when I got there I saw Jaxton sitting elsewhere with his food. Some losers were sitting on our table and giggling and I couldn't have that, I walked over to Jaxton sitting with some other people which seemed to be his friends. "Hello people" I smiled and they all seemed shocked that i was talking to them. "Jaxton? We were supposed to have a meeting" I arched my brow at him.

Jaxton sighed and carried his tray. "I'll see y'all later" he said and walked with me. "Those kids have our table and I can't ask them to leave"

I smiled and shrugged. "Well I can." I said and approached them. I cleared my throat and they all looked up and stopped chatting. "Do you people have a death wish?" I furrowed my brows at them. They all exchanged looks as if confused. "Didn't anyone tell you souls that this was our table? Raven's table?" I asked and placed a hand on my hip.

The Asian girl on their table with glasses began to speak. "I-Well there w-was no one here when we got here and so we just..."

"Ah. So you knew? And you still had the nerves to sit here?"

"Sorry, I just didn't um—"

I scoffed and shook my head a little, I walked closer and placed my hands on the table, leaning in with a smile.

"Listen here, miss. I'm gonna count to three and if you all are still sitting here, you all will wake up tomorrow....bald." I said and they were all horrified.

"Tamaline" I turned to the girl sitting two seats away from her with short blonde hair.

"I-Its Tamara"

"I don't give a shit what your name is, but why don't you tell them exactly what happened to you in sixth grade. If they all think I'm bluffing then please tell them I'm not. You dared me once and now short blonde hair fits you" I smiled at her.

She gulped and looked at her friends. "Its true. S-She will do it" she stammered.

"Two" I counted out loud and they all packed their trays and ran off the table. I clapped my hands and looked back at Jaxton who looked gobsmacked. "Come on" I smiled at him. "I chased all the rats away" I said and sat down.

"Wow. You're terrible." he said in a loud whisper and sat opposite me. "You really cannot change, can you?"

"The table was empty when I got here" I said with a frown.

"Yeah, I wish I just imagined all this." he chuckled.

"I have no idea what you're talking about" I shrugged.

"Sure, you don't." he rolled his eyes. "I don't have that spirit you and Dylan both have."

"Whatever. For a second, I thought you were gonna go all racist on her."

I frowned. "Why would you think that?"

"I could just hear it."

I frowned. "What does that even mean?"

"Forgive me, but a lot of white people are racist, and sometimes you can just predict what a person wants to say."

"Isn't that like...judging a lot of people like myself before getting to know them?" I cocked my brow at him.

"But I do know you. The truth still remains the fact that white people are the worst."

"Your skin is literally white."

His brows shot up at me. "But i am hispanic, Así que no soy nada como tú paganos." He said, his eyes fixed on his tray once he switched.

I frowned. "Fuck you."

Jaxton shook his head. "You and Dylan are unbelievable."

"Speaking of Dylan. Have you seen him?"

He shook his head. "No. I haven't. I saw him talking to henry or...arguing but before I could reach him, he walked away angrily. I searched for him everywhere, couldn't find him."

"Isn't he coming for lunch? He's always here. Dylan loves food more than us."

"I told you I haven't spoken to him all day. How do I answer that?" He furrowed his brows at me as if talking to a dumb person.

"Do not play smart with me Olson, I'll eat you alive."

"Wow. I am scared." He replied, blankly.

I smiled. "It's been a while since lunch started, I even arrived late cause I was summoned by coach and he still isn't here." I sighed, worried as hell about the white haired devil. "I know what to do." I said and pulled out my phone.

"He's not answering my calls, so he might not an-"

"I'm not calling or texting him. I'm texting my cheer squad, they'll find him" I said as I sent an SOS message to the group to find the boy with white hair. "Just give it time." I smiled.

"How will they find him?" He asked confused. "Are y'all gonna sing and lure him out?"

"This isn't glee stupid. My squads are everywhere. They'll find him"

"That's like impossible. The school is big, and I mean maybe they would but it wouldn't be so soon, and how are they gonna fi-" he was interrupted by the buzzing from my phone. I opened the text and smirked.

"He's in the library"

"What? H-How do you know?" He stuttered.

"Two cheerleaders just clarified that." I smiled and stood up. "Come on, Olson."

"I-I, wow." He blinked in amazement as he quickly and awkwardly stood up. "How is that possible, Professor Xavier?"

I chuckled and flipped my hair backwards as we exited the cafeteria.

"You just sent those poor students away and we didn't even spend up to ten minutes at that table." Jaxton said as we walked to the library.

"Jaxton." I sighed. "That's in the past, leave it be" I said as we walked into the library.

"Are you sure he's here?" Jaxton asked as we looked around from where we stood. "How are we gonna find him?"

"Shut up." I said and took out my phone the same time the blond old looking Liberian shushed me up. "Sorry," I said and scowled at Jaxton.

"What? I didn't do nothing."

"Don't speak." I rolled my eyes. I texted the cheerios and asked them where he was and they replied. "He's upstairs." I said to him and we both climbed up the stairs and looked around. I finally spotted him sitting and going through a book with a really bored expression, I tapped Jaxton's shoulder, pointing at Dylan.

"Oh, thank God. There he is." Jaxton gave a sigh of relief. "Dylan," Jaxton called and he looked up at us, before we started walking towards him.

"I told you he was here." I whispered to Jax before sitting beside Dylan. "What's up, snow? I haven't seen you all day." I was really worried, and that was definitely unlike me.

"I'm fine, was just busy." he smiled, closing his book.

What a perfect liar.

"How did you find me? As far as I know, I've never been here." He asked, curiously, surprised we had found him.

"I have my spies around." I answered. "We couldn't find you, Jaxton had been searching all over for you and you weren't even at lunch, so I sent my spies to look for you." I beamed.

"Spies equals to cheerios and not the snacks." Jaxton said giving the same bored expression Dylan had when I saw him.

"And in less than five minutes, two responded, they found you." I said and instantly spotted them, the cheerleaders standing close to a shelf looking my way, I had to wave and so I did even though I wanted to ignore, and they waved back while the boys looked.

Dylan sighed and stood up. "I was just leaving anyways." He muttered and began to walk away, we both both stood and left the table.

It was then I realised something was definitely wrong, and Jaxton was totally right, something was bothering him. I was concerned and I had to ask and that was what I did.

"Dylan, what is going on? I can tell something is wrong." I said as Jaxton and I followed him.

"Nothing, really."

"I also know you are lying, Dylan." Jaxton said. "So, tell us what exactly is the problem."

"Dylan." I called once he just remained silent. "Is everything okay? What is going on in that head of yours, you can tell us, you know?" I told him, but he kept denying anything was wrong.

Dylan turned to us with a smile. "I really am okay, now let us forget this, okay?"

"Dylan," Jaxton called but Dylan kept walking. "What is the story behind Isaac's death?" He questioned and Dylan froze.

I frowned.

"What is the story about Isaac? What happened to him? What happened to Isaac? And why d-do you hate your father so much? Did he do something to Isaac? You're hurting and I know it is about him, so I need you to tell us what happened, so we can know how to help, Dylan." Jaxton said, softly, but Dylan didn't turn back.

"Did your father do something to Isaac? Do you think it is your fault cause it isn't. I know you're in pain, I know what it is like to lose someone who you really care about, Dylan." Jaxton said and took a step forward. "What happened?"

"HE KILLED ISAAC" he shouted, he was crying. People began to look our way cause of the way he screamed but we didn't care. I was just shocked at what he said. "HE KILLED MY BABY BROTHER AND I CAN NEVER FORGIVE HIM FOR THAT. NEVER. YOU WANTED TO KNOW RIGHT? HUH? YOU THINK HE'S A GOOD GUY AND THAT HE'S A GREAT FATHER BUT I DON'T HAVE A BROTHER BECAUSE OF HIM AND AS LONG AS I LIVE...I WILL CONTINUE TO DESPISE HIM. Now you know" he said and wiped off his tears, he was angry, he was tired, he was frustrated, he was hurt. He had been bottling this up. Jaxton and I were both shocked by what we just heard, I couldn't find the words to say. His dad wouldn't have. He was hurting cause his brother died cause of his father.

"Shush" The Liberian did that again and this time before i could answer her, Dylan did

"Oh shut the fuck up. Do not let me come over there or I'll rip you to shreds" he yelled at her, she did get scared.

I slowly looked at Jaxton who had guilt in his face, we were both not expecting this and here I thought Isaac was an ex whom he loved, and was probably separated from when it was just his brother.

I decided to talk to him and try to apologize and make him know we were here.

"Dylan, listen-"

"No" he cut me off from saying any other thing. "Its fine" he said and wiped off his tears with a sniff, he turned and walked away. I looked down and tucked my hair behind my ear, everyone was still looking.

"DYLAN!" Jaxton screamed, startling me, I looked at him and where he was heading to with a scared expression, he ran immediately he called his name, I looked at the stairs and there he was, falling. My eyes widened.

"DYLAN" I shouted and ran towards the stairs as well. He couldn't grab unto anything. He just rolled down the stairs, the sight was horrible and his face was filled with fear and when he landed, my hands went to my mouth covering it in fear.

"DYL" We heard and saw henry run towards Dylan after throwing the book in his hands. He quickly knelt and held him. Jaxton and I at the same time began to run down the stairs, not even caring if we fell.

"DYLAN" Jaxton called out his name and was saying something in a whisper that I couldn't hear. Dylan was screaming in pain and he looked like he was finally going to pass out, he had landed with that arm of his.

"DYLAN, OH GOD" we both knelt beside him. "Hey, can you hear us?" I asked but he looked like he couldn't see us clearly. When someone falls down the stairs sometimes it's funny but when its one this many, it wasn't and he was injured.

Henry quickly carried him up and we both stood up quickly as well.

"Clear the way" he instructed. We nodded and looked beside him to see Zach who nodded as well. Zach and Jaxton began to shout for the students to move away while Henry ran with Dylan in his hands while the boys cleared their path, I ran beside them, seeing that the students needed to hear from someone with power since they wanted to know what was going on and wouldn't clear the path fast, I ran ahead.

"YOU ALL HAVE FIVE MINUTES TO MOVE OR I'LL MAKE SURE YOU SUFFER TILL I LEAVE HIGHSCHOOL" I shouted at the top of my voice and they all moved away and just as id in cue, the bell rang.

"Nice" I heard Zach say before we all ran to the nurse's office.

"Oh God. W-What happened?" she asked as we rushed in and directed us to the bed where henry placed him.

"H-He fell down the stairs" Jaxton answered with a panicked tone.

"Y'all should wait outside okay" she said walking to stay beside him

"No. This isn't a freaking hospital" I yelled, refusing to leave.

"Listen.."

"WE'RE NOT GOING" Henry yelled, interrupting her and ran his hand through his hair. "Just do something, he's in a lot of pain"

He really was.

"Just go outside okay!" She sighed running to and fro.

"We are not leaving here miss f-" Zach was interrupted by the door which swung open ,Principal Evans rushed in.

"I hea-" he trailed off once he saw Dylan wincing from the pain. "W-What happened?"

"He..he fell" Jax answered "And its that same arm"

"Okay uh..you g-guys head to class, we'll take it from here"

"NO!" We all retorted.

"We c-cant leave him alone" Jaxton spoke.

"No one is leaving him. We're here and we'll call his mom. Go to class" he still insisted.

"But..."

"Go!" He ordered, we all took one glance at Dylan and left the nurse's office.

We all just stood outside.

"I hope he's okay" Jaxton sigh.

"He's gonna be fine Jaxton. He will be" I said and placed my hand on his shoulder.

"We should all head to class" Zach suggested making Jaxton and I turn to him.

"I'm gonna wait here" Jaxton said, rubbing his hands together after sighing

"Trust me principal Evans won't like that" Zach said and I hate to admit it but he was right about this and I nodded

"He's right" I said in agreement and looked over at henry who just stood, he had helped us get Dylan here . "Thank you, henry" I smiled at him but he didn't reply

"Yeah. Thanks so much for your help" Jaxton too showed his appreciation but he still didn't reply.

We all frowned.

"Henry?" Zach called but he still didn't answer. He looked back at us and it was certain he had the same look as we both did.

Henry looked a little... lost in his thoughts. "Henry? Henry!"
