"Thank you for inviting us to your home, your fieriness!" Aang bowed his head. "We've been out of touch for much too long!"

"It's only been a week." Zuko stated. "Where's Toph?"

"She had to stay at the Academy. Now that folks have seen the lily livers-- I mean her students in action, everyone and their mother want to be a metalbender, even the Yu Dao police chief went to visit her!" Sokka explained.

"We came as soon as we received your message." Katara relayed. "What's this about?"

"The most pressing business is that of my daughter's debut as the Fire Princess. I thought you should all like to be here for that." The others smiled in excitement. They desperately wanted to hold and snuggle the baby. "Then, I recently obtained some new information about Ursa, my mother. It turns out she's from a small town called Hira'a on the outskirts of the Fire Nation. I'm going there to look for her. Uncle Iroh's agreed to watch over things here while I'm gone."

"May you find who-- and what-- you are searching or, my nephew." Iroh stated.

"That's great, Zuko! But it sounds like you've got everything covered..." Aang began.

"So why do you need us?" Katara asked.

"The information about my mother came at a cost you see." He bowed his head as he heard footsteps from another door.

"Zuko! Behind you!" Aang and Katara snapped into action.

"How did you escape, Azula!?" Katara interrogated her as she flung ice shards her way.

"Katara, wait!" Zuko cried as his sister easily dodged the attack.

"Stay back! We don't want to hurt you!" Aang called out.

"Speak for yourself, Aang!" Sokka added in.

"Haha!" Azula laughed, "Ignorant peasant! You really think you can take me on with a boomerang?!"

"Let's find out!" Sokka yelled, insulted.

Suddenly, accompanying you and Izumi, came Ty Lee and Suki.

"Sokka, Stop!" Suki ran to him. "Let Zuko explain!"

"Suki!" He called out lovingly.

"Azula was the one who got the information from Ozai. Because she helped me out , we made a deal. She's going to come with me, and YN and Izumi to look for our mother. And she's going to travel unbound with dignity." He gathered you in his arms. "I want you all to come with us. Especially to protect my daughter, who apparently cannot stay here."

"Nope! Because I won't, so she ain't gonna!" You smiled.

"No offense, but that sounds like the worst plan ever!" Aang was flabberghasted.

"Ooooh! Ohhhhh! New nickname for Zuko! How about Bad Decision Lord?" Sokka cracked a joke.

"Ever since my nephew ascended to the throne, he has yearned for peace. Finding Ursa may bring that peace." Iroh looked at your small family unit and then towards pouting Azula. "And not just for himself."

Aang thought for a moment and then turned to Zuko and smiled.

"We're your friend, Zuko. If you need us, we'll go." He declared.

"Thank you." he bowed. "Now, if we could, let us all get a move on to Izumi's celebration! The Fire Nation is waiting anxiously!"

"And so am I!" You laughed as you carried your daughter out the doors and onto the balcony that would forever change her life.
