"What's going on here?" River asked looking at Natalia then me, "Jane?"

I shook my head, "it's all my fault. I came onto Natalia."

Natalia shook her head.

"Natalia?" River questioned her.

"That's partly true. I don't have to explain myself though, so get out!"

He looked taken back. Shoot I was surprised, "What?"

"You hear me. River get out. Everyone get out. I can't breathe. God," she rushed to the bathroom and slammed the door shut behind her.

I walked up to the door and turned the nob, locked. I turned towards River.

"What the fuck is going on?"

I shake my head, "I slept with Natalia."

"What?"

I Nodded my head, "it wasn't the first time either."

He shook his head, "get dressed now. Your going with Camille and I. We'll be waiting down stairs," I couldn't tell if he's mad, disgusted, or ashamed.

Sighing I walked to Natalia's closet. Hope she won't mind that I'm borrowing some clothes. I grab a pair of black and white striped pants that are adjustable and a black tank, then throw them on. I didn't bother throwing on a bra, but did put on underwear before.

Before I left I went through Natalia's shoes and found a pair that would fit me.

I went down stairs to see River and Camille waiting on the couch. They stood up when they saw me walking down the stairs, "Jane! Hi!" Camille hugs me as I reached the last step.

"Hey Camille."

She pulled back, "I'm glad you decided to come with us! We're going to the hive," I nod my head.

"Yah I'm glad I decided to join," I smiled a fake smile. River shook his head and we all filed out the door.

I didn't see Natalia again until Monday. She didn't come out her room for the rest of the weekend and kept her door locked. On Monday River and I didn't think she would come to school, so he drove me.

I only saw her when she walked in a few minutes before the bell. I started at her in awe as she walked down the hall. Lindsey and Jonna in tow. She stopped at her locker and put her yellow backpack inside.

"Natalia," she looked at me and pushed her sunglasses to the top of her head smiling at me.

"Hey Jane," she leaned against her locker and the group turned to face me.

Before I could talk Carley walked up from behind me, "hey girlies. Loving the fit Natalia."

"Thanks Carley," Natalia spoke while I looked at her outfit. It's bolder than usual and you could tell that she's not wearing a bra or underwear. Not that I minded.

"Hey guys I'll catch up with y'all later," she tells the group that circled around her. They nodded their head and she walked forward grabbing my by my wrist.

She dragged me around the corner and into an empty classroom. When the door closed she smashed her lips into mine. I sighed into the kissed. She's not mad at me and that's all I could ever hope for.

"I didn't mean to ignore you all weekend. I just didn't want to face my brothers wrath," I shook my head as we leaned against the wall, her forehead on mine.

I looked down at her white Birkenstock's not saying a word. I didn't know what to say. She left me to face her brothers wrath. He may have not mentioned what he saw but if he did. Man it'd be over.

"What did river say anyway?"

"Nothing. He didn't even mention it. He just wouldn't leave me alone. Whenever I went somewhere he was right there. I'm surprised he didn't escort me to class," I laughed.

"That's my brother. He's just over protective and doesn't trust you with me."

"It should be the other way around."

Natalia shook her head laughing, "We should get to class. We're already tardy."

I groaned, "let's skip first."

Natalia smirked, "the goodie goodie wants to skip? Maybe I am A bad influence," I rolled my eyes, "but bet let's go."

She grab my hand and opens the classroom door. We make our way off campus, "where are we going?"

"To ihop. We have about an hr till the next class starts. Enough time to grab a bite to eat," Nodding my head I reach over to turn on the radio station, "turn on Bluetooth. The radio station blows," I nod my head and grab her phone.

"What's your password?" Her phone has Face ID so I couldn't get in.

"55148," She looks over as I put in the numbers. Turning on Bluetooth I connect the phone with her car and hit play on her Musi account.

Bad Guy started to blare through the speakers. I smiled. Billie eilish is without a doubt a queen.

We only got halfway through the song when her phone started ringing. I looked at her and she gave me a nod letting me know I could answer it.

I slid the slider across the screen, "Natalia where are you? Are you skipping? Lindsey told me she saw you like five minutes ago."

"Dude you aren't my babysitter. Why do you care?" She rolls her eyes as Sam continues to talk.

"I was gonna ask if you want to skip and go to IHOP, but ok I see how it is."

Natalia rolled her eyes, "Meet me there fucker!" She yells.

"Alright bet!" I can bet he's smirking on the other end.

"If I get there first I'll save y'all a seat."

"Save like six or ten seats!"

She rolls her eyes.

"Ok, ok, whatever just hurry your asses up, hang up," I nod my head and hang up, "the gangs all back together."

"We should get back to school it's already half through third period," Sam says.

"No," Natalia groans. Her head falls to my shoulder.

"We already missed three classes if we're not their by lunch River is not only going to kill you, but he will never trust me again," I tell her.

She sighs, "ok ok. Let's go," everyone scoots our the booth. Whenever it's my turn to get out the booth Natalia stops me. I look up at her.

"What are you doing?" Everyone stops and looks at us.

Natalia does the one think I didn't think she would. She leans down and kisses me.

"Ok show off. We get it," Sam scoffs. Natalia smirks against my lips.

"I don't think y'all do. I mean it's a forever thang," she pulls me up and drapes her arm around my shoulder.

"Must be nice. Don't screw this one over," Lindsey pats her shoulder.

I guess we're a forever thing.

"I'm not mad about you two. Im really not. It's just kind of weird," Natalia and I both sit on the couch starring at River.

"What do you mean?" I ask.

"I've been trying to push you two together forever. I never thought it'd happen. Someone finally got the hint, but now it's just weird. A good kind of weird though," after school River ambushed us wanting to talk. That's what we're doing now.

"I won't hurt her. If anything she'll hurt me," Natalia entwined her finger with mine.

"It was a one time thing. Ugh, could we never mention it. Like ever?" I groan.

"Am I missing something here?" River asked. We both shook our head laughing.

"Nothing to worry about brother. Just know, it's forever thang," there she goes saying that again.

"Yah, it's a forever thing."

All these comments about y'all missing me has a bitch crying ! Omggg I didn't even think y'all would acknowledge me leaving for 6 day! But are y'all going to follow me over to my next book? This one's almost over.
