Layla POV

A wedding, a ceremony that bonds two people for the rest of their lives, a promise to stand by them no matter what, of course this isn't always the case. Promises can be broken and a marriage isn't always until death do them part.

"Are you sure you're ok with this honey?" My mother asked as I looked at her, I was almost a younger copy of her with different eyes. Her soft tan skin was just barely over a skin tone higher than mine, her long black naturally straighten hair was the only difference, my hair was long and black but the slight curls I inherited from my father made it different in a way while my curves were inherited from her and her soft brown eyes differ from my bright grey ones.

"Yeah, it's not like I'll never see them again.. the ride is only two hours anyway." I say giving her a small smile as I carry my bag walking towards the exit.

"I'm sorry honey." She said and I shake my head.

"I'd do anything for you as long as you're happy." I say smiling at her before walking out where Vicky and Willow standing there with Victor -Vicky's twin brother and Willow's boyfriend- as they look at me giving me small sad smiles.

"I'm gonna miss you guys." I say running to them and hugging them tight to me.

"We'll miss you too shorty." Victor says smirking down at me as I hit him.

"Giraffe." I mumble making them laugh as I chuckle.

"But seriously though, call us if you need anything." Willow said and I nod smiling at them before giving them another hug.

"I will, and I'll come and visit as much as I can." I say into the group hug before pulling away.

"I'll call you when I get there ok?" I smile at them as they nodded.

"We'll be waiting." Vicky said and I nodded.

"Bye for now." I say waving my hand at them as I walk to the limo car and getting in not before giving them one last look. The drive was long and I just listen to my music while looking out the window watching as the buildings and scenarios continued to change until my mother talked.

"You know he told me he had a daughter the same age as you, he said she too was a cheerleader." I glance at her.

"Is that so?" I ask before looking out the window again.

"Yeah, said the school had a cheer team too." I look at her.

"Mom I don't know. I just left my team, the people I've been with for a long time. Cheerleading isn't like any other sport where you can just change from team to team and it will always be the same, but I'll see if they're worth it." I say as she gave me a smile.

"Ok." She said nodding and a few minutes later we made it to a mansion.

"How many people even live here?" I ask as I got out of the car looking around as my mother's husband came out. I'll admit he was kind of attractive but still an old man for me, he has blond hair with green eyes and of course pale skin.

"Hello Layla." He said giving me a smile before kissing my mother who smiled at him.

"Hello Richard." I say giving a forced smile.

"Oh, Eliza my daughter is inside. She's excited to meet you." He said and I nod taking my bag out of the trunk placing it on my shoulder.

"Sure." I say before making my way inside to see a perky blond girl with bright green eyes there, her figure was slim but she had a pretty face.

"Hi! You must be Layla! I'm Eliza but you can call me Liz! It's really nice to meet you!" Well she's energetic.

"Uh yeah.. you too, would you mind leading me to my room? This place is like a maze." I say and she nods happily leading the way as she continued to ramble. How is she so loud?

"Here we are!" Her voice was perky, I guess she was the typical cheerleader in the movies, the always perky and happy ones.

"Thanks." I say smiling at her before walking in and closing the door behind me. She's way too much for me. I start looking around the room and my eyes widen.. this is my room? I quickly take my phone out and dial Vicky on Skype.

"Hey!" She smiled happily as Victor and Willow were beside her and I wave at them.

"Hey, so I just walked into my room and check this out." I say changing the camera so that they could see my room with me.

"Damn girl that's a big room!" Willow said and I nodded.

"It is, let me go see the bathroom." I say walking towards the bathroom after placing my bag on the bed.

"Look at that view!" Vicky said as she got a glimpse of the view out the sliding doors to the balcony.

"I'll go there in a sec." I say before walking to the bathroom door and opening it just for my eyes to widen.

"Is this a bathroom or another room?" I ask looking at it. I swear the room and bathroom are bigger than my house back home.

"Damn you have a Jacuzzi?" Victor asked as I look at it.

"This is way too much." I mumble before walking out of the bathroom to the closet.. a walk in closet.

"And you have a dream closet girl!" Willow said and I shake my head as I look around.

"Dude this is way too much!" I say before walking out of the closet and walking to the balcony.

"But I do like the view." I say.

"It is an amazing view, you're so lucky." Victor said making me chuckle.

"Not so much, I'd give up all of this just to go back to you guys." I say taking a step back inside and and turning the camera for them to look at me as I lay on my bed.

"Don't be dumb Layla, anyway you gonna check out the cheer team at your school tomorrow?" Willow asked and I sigh.

"I don't know. Apparently my now sister in law is a cheerleader but I think she's trying a bit too much or her personality's just too hyper and loud. If all the cheerleaders at this school are like that forget about it." I say.

"You're an amazing cheerleader Lay, you can't give up just like that! Hell we'll go down there and give you a good beating if you quit." Vicky said raising a brow at me making me chuckle.

"Yeah, yeah I'll try now let me sleep I'm tired." I say as they nod.

"Goodnight." They all say as I blow a kiss with a 'G'night' before walking to the closet to look for some sleep cloth before taking a bath and falling asleep.
