Kenzie and I walked down the hallway as we headed for the cafeteria when we saw people gathering.

Something was definitely going on.

Kenzie and I managed to make our way through the crowd and when we finally did.I couldn't believe my eyes.

Kyle and Ryan were fighting.

"We don't see this everyday"Kenzie said as her eye widened.

Ryan was about to hit Kyle and then I did the most stupid thing ever.

Just as Ryan was about to punch Kyle...I ran and stood in the middle of them with my arms covering my face.

"Fuck off, bitch!"I heard Ryan say.

He was obviously angry.

I looked at him with a frown on my face and the angry look on his face vanished and he looked calm.

"What do you think you're doing?"He asked.

"Protecting the two of you"I said and Kyle left without saying a word.

He's annoyed.

I can't believe this.

"Misunderstanding"I said looking at the crowd.I turned to Ryan and dragged him out of their sight.

"Why did you get into a fight?You could have hurt him...what if he got injured...what will you do if you get into trouble?"

"Are you worried about me or him?"

"I...I don't know"

"What you did back then was really stupid...you could have hurt yourself"He said and I sighed.

"And you could have gotten into big trouble...do thank your ass"

"My ass is pretty cool... yours look better"He smirked and I hit his shoulder and he laughed.

He should really laugh more often.

I rolled my eyes and suddenly my eye caught something that looked like a blood stain.

I looked at Ryan's hand and saw blood gushing out of his hand.

"I hit my hand against the wall"

"I got bandage in my bag"

"It's okay... I'm fine"

"You can't try to convince me with that"I said taking out the the bandage from the bag.

I carefully wrapped it around his hand and tied it.

"There, your hand's all fixed up"I said and looked at him.

"You would be the first female I will say this to but... thanks"

Meltdown.

Did he really thank me?

"It's nothing"I replied and sighed."I'm going back to meet Kenzie"I said as I turned around to leave but he grabbed my hand and pulled me so close to him.

"Do me a favor"He said.

"You don't have to do this"

"I like it when you're so close to me"

"Just let me go...what if someone sees us like this?"

"They're busy thinking about what happened earlier......just do me a favor"

"What favor?"

"If Kyle asks you to be his girlfriend...I want you to say no"

"That's crazy...All I've ever wished for is to be with Kyle...why would I say no?"

"I'm trying to help you,Lisa"

"Ryan...this is awkward"

"Lisa"I heard Kyle call and I turned to look at him.

He looked annoyed.

He left and I hit Ryan's arm repeatedly.

"I told you to let go of me"

"Why do you care so much about him?"

"He's a good guy, okay? Good guys are for people like me... you're only trying to get in the way"I said and ran after Kyle but I couldn't find anywhere.

He's definitely going to get wrong idea.

I made my way out of class and headed for the library...but in my way...I spotted Kyle standing at his locker.I approached him and cleared my throat.

He looked at me and turned away.

"Um...Kyle...I just wanted to-"

"It's okay"

"Actually...what happened earlier was not intentional...I would never do something like that... that's crazy and besides...I don't even like Ryan"

"Just forget it...I know what I saw"

"What you saw was-"

"Forget it,Lisa!"He exclaimed and left hitting my shoulder.

I just stood there feeling so bad and stupid.

I can't believe I chased him away.

Now,he hates me.

My phone rang out as soon as I got home.

It was Kenzie.

I picked up her call and held my phone close to my ear.

"Hey"I said slowly.

"What's up with you?You sound so gloomy and you left school so early today... what's wrong with you?"

"Nothing...just tired"I lied.

"Okay...I have to tell you something... first, Ronnie told me likes me"

"Really? That's great news!"I exclaimed trying to sound very excited so I won't make her feel bad.

"And next...um... Ryan and Kyle kinda like...got into a fight after you left... somehow"

"Oh, okay"

"You're not mad?"She asked.

"They're always getting into a fight...I just don't get it...why is Ryan trying to get in my way... everytime I'm with Kyle...he ruins the moment"I said feeling so frustrated.

"I understand you... want me to come over?"She asked.

"Don't worry about me... I'm fine"

"What if Ryan actually likes you?"

"That's impossible...he likes girls like Thena...am I not just an ordinary girl?"

"That's the point...you don't try to please anyone... you love to be yourself...and you're not like Thena who stuffs makeup on her face...so you're different...what if he doesn't like girls like Thena anymore...what if he likes girls like you...what if he likes you?"

"I don't care... I'm just confused...how am I gonna face Kyle tomorrow?What am I gonna say to him...he saw me with Ryan... he's probably gonna think I'm in a relationship with Ryan or something"

"Okay...I want you to calm down,go make yourself something to eat and get some sleep...you sound horrible... like you just woke up or something"

"Thanks Kenzie... you're the best"

"Bye"She replied and hanged up.

I'm ruined.

I was just about to stand up when I heard a knock on the door.

Who could it be?

I wasn't expecting anyone.

No one cares.

Whoever the person is can come back later... I'm not in a good mood.

The knock was persistent but I totally ignored it.

I'm not opening the door.

"Who the hell is knocking?"I groaned as I flung the door open.

"I almost gave up"He said and entered my house before I could close the door back.

"What the hell are you doing here?!"I exclaimed angrily.

"Calm down...I never meant what I did,okay?...I never meant to hurt you... it's just that I'm trying to protect you"

"Well don't...I don't need your protection...I didn't ask you to protect me... you're just making things worse for me"

"I really don't care what you say right now"

"Just leave!"

"I know you're angry-"

"Fucking get out,Ryan...all because of you...my life's a mess...you keep frustrating me...just get out"I shouted as tears almost came out of my eye.

I looked at him and saw the sad and guilty look in his eyes.

"I know"He said quietly and slowly walked out of my house.Within me,I felt really bad as I also felt hurt.

Now I think I have an headache.

I headed up to my room and sat on the bed.I couldn't help it.I had to cry.

Everything seems confusing...my life has confusing...ever since childhood but it just became more confusing when I met him.

Why does he have to make me feel this way?

What's wrong with me? I'm not always like this.

Just then...I heard my phone vibrate.I picked it up and saw a message from mum.

Mum:Hey sweetie,how are you doing?I hope you're great at your babysitting job...I just wanna I love and miss you so much...oh,I also want to say that you should always be the good girl you have to be and believe in yourself...if there's anything bothering you...just let it out if your mind and move on... you're free to visit your friends anytime...you should also check on Ryan...make sure he doesn't get depressed...don't let Catherine down.I love you so much, darling... Kisses to my loving daughter... I'll be back soon.

Oh,mum...she really knows how to make me happy.

But how does she expect me to keep my promise?

I shouldn't have accepted the offer...I would be better off without this babysitting job...how does she expect me to cope with Ryan?He keeps annoying me.

I shouldn't have blamed him...he probably feels bad.But he's Ryan.

He never feels bad about anything.

But he felt bad for trying to kiss me because I didn't apologise to him.

He later apologised to me.

I didn't even know when a smile popped on my face.

I wonder how it feels like to kiss Ryan?He has a beautiful facial features...his beautiful dark hair,his beautiful nose,lip,jaw and chin.

I remember the day I first met him in the cafeteria.I remember it like it happened yesterday.

He was putting on a red T-shirt,he wore a black vest underneath...he looked so hot.

The way he ate was really attractive...I remember that he took off his T-shirt and used it to hit Ronnie.They all laughed and that was when Kenzie interrupted and-

I found out he was my neighbor and now I'm his babysitter.

Maybe Ryan isn't so bad after all...but he keeps saying he's trying to help me.
