Another free day at home.

People say that Saturday is the best day of the week... well, that's true and that's why I love Saturdays.

I had planned on spending my day with Kenzie... you know... watching movies on Netflix, painting Kenzie's nails and her painting mine,and also doing other girly stuffs but my plans had to be ruined by Ryan.

But actually, everything turned out to be fun.

This is how it went;

   I was about to prepare breakfast when I heard a knock on my door.

"Coming"I called from the kitchen.

I opened the door and my jaw dropped when I saw them standing in front of my door.

"What're you guys doing here?I only invited Kenzie"

"Duh!"Ryan exclaimed and they all sat on my couch.

"Kenzie,did you invite them?"

"No,she didn't... we're having an hang out and you're coming with us"Ronnie said and I scoffed.

"Sorry,but Kenzie and I have something more important to do"

"You're hurting me here,princess"Ryan pouted and I sighed.

"Where exactly are you going to?"

"Oh My God...the beach,I love the beach"I said running in circles as we all alighted from the car.

"Everyone loves the beach,dumdum"Ryan said slightly hitting my head.

Ouch.

Twerp.

We all packed our stuffs from the car and headed towards the shore.

"This is amazing"

"I'm going for a swim!"Ronnie exclaimed

"Me two"Jake said.

"Me three"Kenzie replied.

"Be careful!"I called as I watched her leave with the two boys.

"You can go join them if you want"

"No...I prefer to stay dry and cool"I replied.

"Ronnie likes Kenzie"He said and my eye widened.

"How did you know?"I asked.

"I'm his friend, dummy"

"Just as you like Thena and I like Kyle"I said and the expression on his face changed.

"Thena?You actually think I like her?I want nothing to do with her... she's just my pet"

"You should really think about this...how long do you wanna keep hurting people?"

"I don't hurt people"

"You do... think about the girls you've broken...you dump them whenever you wish to...and you're hurting them"

"I can't hurt you"He said and i looked at him noticing the serious look on his face."I would never hurt you"He said and I felt so touched.

Wait...this is getting awkward.

"What do you plan to do after graduating from high school?"He asked.

"I wanna have my own restaurant and I also want to be an actress...how about you?"

"I wanna start my own band... I'll probably write songs about you"He said and I blushed.

But I looked away to hide it but is possible for me to hide a blush and a bad boy like Ryan wouldn't notice it?

Of course,not.

"Are you-"

"Shut up...no... don't look at me"I said feeling so embarrassed.

"It's okay...I blush at times"He said with a smile.

"Oh my God...you smiled"I exclaimed and he looked away.

"Don't hide it... it's okay to smile"I said teasingly and he laughed.

"Oh my God...you just laughed...I made you laugh...an achievement"

"Well yeah, your first and last achievement"He said and I punched his arm.

"You should smile often"I said and he sighed.

"Smiling is not my thing"

"So frowning is your thing?"

"Maybe"He said and I rolled my eyes."Lisa"He called and I looked at him.

"Do you like Kyle that much?"He asked.

"What do you mean?"

"What are we?"He asked.

"Friends,I guess"

"Right"He said with a nod.

"Do you love me?"

"Why are you asking me these questions?"I asked and he turned to me.He moved closer to me and I looked into his eye.

He looked depressed...as usual.

"My heart aches so much"He said sadly and I suddenly felt like crying.

"You've been acting so strange lately and I think something is happening to you"

"Are you worried?"He asked.

"Um...I...this is awkward"I said looking around.Ryan let go of my hand and smiled.

"I love Saturdays"

I really don't understand this guy.

He was all gloomy earlier and now he's happy.

I think he's bipolar.

"Guys!"Someone called.

I looked up and saw Kenzie,Jake And Ronnie heading towards us.

"We had so much fun,how about you guys?"Wanna swim?"

"No, thanks... I'm better off dry and warm"

"Okay, we'll go grab something to drink"Kenzie said and off they went.

"You should actually go for a swim"Ryan said nudging my shoulder.

"No thanks... I'm not going anywhere and nobody can do anything about that"

"If you say so"Ryan said.

Then the next thing he did was carry me and throw me into the water.

"Fuck you, Ryan...now I'm all wet"I said and he just watched me struggle in the water.

"Someone,just pull me out, I can't swim"I said.

"I'm so sorry,what did you say?"

"I can't swim...pull me out"

"Only if you ask nicely"

"Can you please pull me out?"

"Fine... I'll help you"Ryan said as he entered the water.He held my hand and I immediately hugged him because I was afraid of drowning.

He swam back to shore and I laid on the sand coughing.Ryan laid beside me and he laughed.

"That was funny"He said and I rolled my eyes.

"If course,it was "I said sarcastically."Can I ask you a question,Ryan?"

"Sure"He replied.

"Do you think Kyle likes me back?"

"Of course"He hesitated.

I changed into my extra clothes since the first one was soaked.

"Is everyone ready?"

"Yeah"We all said in unison.

We hit the road and drove back home.

Fifteen minute later,

We arrived at my house.Ryan and I alighted from the car and waved then goodbye.

"I'll see at school on Monday,Lis"Kenzie said.

"Okay!"I called and they drove off.

I turned around and came face to face with Ryan.

And that's when things became awkward again.

He held my hands and looked at me.

Is he gonna kiss me?

Definitely not.

He suddenly pulled me into a tight hug and I gasped.

"Why are you acting so childish?Are you bored?"I asked and he just sighed.

This guy is scaring me.

Maybe he's just thinking of something.

Or maybe he has something on his mind... maybe something private.
