jungkook had to wait until the first class was finished to talk to taehyung about what he said about him. it touched his heart, every word and it meant so much to him. taehyung on the other hand did not get to see or talk to jungkook after class ended, he was whisked away by one of the teachers who wanted to talk to him about his presentation. 

he did notice that jungkook was packing up awfully slowly but was eventually kicked out by one of the teachers. the brunette hoped that he would not be talking to the teachers for to long as he wanted to go and see his boyfriend who was waiting for him outside. 

but sadly the teachers took up all his break time, asking questions about his art piece. he felt bad that jungkook was waiting for him but it also felt nice that the teachers seemed to really like his hardwork and wanted to know more. 

the raven could tell taehyung was going to be awhile so he had decided to leave, going to catch up with his friends who were waiting for the both of them at the cafeteria. 

taehyung let out a breath of relief as soon as school ended, he was leant against jungkook's car. he wanted to wait to talk to him before they both went home. he continued to look at his phone and then the school doors. 

he smiled as soon as he saw jungkook exit the building, his friends following behind him. the raven smiled as soon as saw taehyung waiting by his car, he waved by to his friends as he jogged towards taehyung. 

as soon as he was in front of the brunette he wrapped his arms around his waist, pulling taehyung against his chest as he hid his face by the smaller's neck. the brunette let out a content sigh as soon as he felt jungkook hug him. 

"thank you" the raven whispered first, slowly pulling away but keeping his hands on taehyung's waist. 

"your art piece was beautiful, I am really proud of you for opening up about your grief. and with that last square, I was surprised" jungkook chuckled as taehyung smiled, wrapping his arms around jungkook's neck. 

"but the words you said meant so much, so thank you for sharing it" the raven said, his eyes never leaving taehyung's who could not stop smiling. 

"im glad you got to hear it, I meant every word" taehyung replied, slowly pecking jungkook's lips before pulling away. 

"you want to come back to mine?" taehyung asked jungkook who let out a sad sigh and nodded his head. 

"I want to, but I cant. I am working, I dont know when my shift finishes cause a lot of staff called in sick" jungkook answered back, rubbing slow circles along the males waist. 

"that's okay, make sure to text me when your home safe" taehyung replied back, a little gutted that he could not spend time with jungkook but he was willing to wait till the raven finished his shift. 

"wait why are you going now?" jungkook asked, pouting as he watched taehyung walk away. 

"I think your forgetting your shift starts in two minutes" taehyung winked, sending a flying kiss to jungkook who groaned and quickly got into his car. taehyung let out a soft giggle as he walked to his car, once he got in he smiled as jungkook beeped to him on his way out the car park. 

"im so ready to go home, have a shower and take a long nap" taehyung muttered to himself as he turned on the engine and got out of the car park fast. 

taehyung sighed in content as soon as his back hit the soft mattress. he ended up going food shopping before coming home, he got carried away and ended up looking at every shop in the mall. he cursed as soon as it got darker and went straight home. 

he knew he should clean the house or something but all he wanted to do was close his eyes and rest for a little. he wished jungkook was with him so he found himself pouting many times. 

he grabbed his phone and replied back to rose's message, completely forgetting that she had sent him a text message. as they texted back and forward taehyung lost track of time, he quickly texted a goodnight message to rose before getting off the bed and heading into the lounge. 

it was now dark outside, the stars so bright and taehyung wanted to sit outside and watch them forever. he ended up in the kitchen, taking the last lot of dishes onto the bench to dry when he heard a loud boom. 

it caused him to flinch and quickly place the last plate down before he peeked his head out the window. his eyes scanned side to side but could not see anything, he looked down at his phone that was in his hands to check the time to see it was ten at night. 

he was about to close the window when he heard myeong's baby cry. he could not beat how loud the cries were, he immediately slipped on his shoes and rushed next door. when he ran up to the door he noticed it was slightly open. 

"myeong?" taehyung called out, walking towards the lounge only to see it was left a mess. his eyes drifted to the kitchen and his heart dropped when he watched red liquid appear from the corners of the kitchen counter top. 

"myeong?" the brunette whispered, taking slow steps towards the corner of the bench. he gasped and let out a scream when his eyes landed on myeong who was on the floor, in a pool of blood. 

taehyung sobbed as he crouched down beside her, bringing his fingers to her neck to check a pulse. he covered his mouth and cried when there was none. he was brought back to the cries of the baby and quickly rushed towards myeong's room to see the little guy crying on the middle of the bed. 

once taehyung picked him up in his arms and rocked him back and forward softly he grabbed his phone and called the emergency hotline. trying to form words while he grabbed the only blanket he could see and wrapped it around the baby to keep him warm. 

as soon as taehyung heard "we will be right there, try to stay calm" he burst into more tears. he could not believe what was happening. as soon as the sirens got closer and flashing red and blue lights were coming down the street he walked towards the door. 

the first person he saw was multiple police officers rushing towards him, some of them rushing behind him. paramedics were there soon after, taking the baby from taehyung's hands to do a quick cheek up. 

"is there anyone I can call for you?" an officer asked, walking up to taehyung. the brunette nodded and wrote down the phone number. 

"before I do this, could you tell me more about what lead up to you showing up here? how did you know the victim?" the officer questioned, soon turning to his partner who handed him a piece of paper the looked like a document. 

"I knew myeong as I would help her clean up her house and look after her son so she could get some rest. I was doing the dishes and heard a l-loud bang, I looked out the window and saw nothing. but then I heard the baby cry and I rushed over." taehyung stuttered slightly, trying to hold it together. 

"did you spend a lot of time with her and her son? do you know of anyone that would of wanted to hurt her?" 

"I did spend a lot of time with her son, she was always sleeping when I came over" taehyung whispered, still in disbelief. 

"we may need to ask more questions later on, but for now go get checked on. I will be right back" the officer said as he was called over back inside. the brunette tried his best to hold in his tears but as soon as he saw jungkook's car speed down the street and park in his drive way he let the tears flow. 

the raven got out the car quickly, rushing towards taehyung as he spread his arms out. 

"thank god your okay" the raven let out a sigh in relief, wrapping his arms around the burnette's waist. 

"s-shes g-gone, she was k-killed" taehyung sobbed, crying into jungkook's chest as the taller tried everything possible to comfort him. once the sobs became quieter, they both noticed a nurse and police officer heading towards them both. 

taehyung wiped his tears as he moved away from jungkook's chest, looking at the little one that was in the nurses arms. 

"which one of you is taehyung?" the police officer asks, looking between the two of them. 

"I am" taehyung whispered, confused when the nurse handed the little boy over to taehyung. 

"we found a document from myeong that basically said that if anything were to happen to her she hands over full custody of her son to you" the officer said, showing them both the document. 

they both were speechless. taehyung felt frozen as he looked down at the little boy in his arms. 

"in the document it says she never planned to give her son a proper name so she has given you rights to change it as soon as you want to" the nurse said softly, knowing this would be a lot of information for the two. 

"since the baby is still very small, we will need to keep him in hospital over night to monitor him. you will be able to take him home tomorrow" the nurse said, taking the baby back. 

jungkook looked at taehyung who still seemed so in shock. the raven tried to be the stronger one here and pulled the brunette into his arms. 

"you go with him, I will go pack a bag for you to stay over the night" jungkook whispered, rubbing his hand on the males back. 

"t-thank you" taehyung whispered back, he really needed jungkook's support. he was so thankful to have the male next to him. the raven smiled shortly as he watched taehyung rush into the ambulance and soon it left. jungkook quickly grabbed his phone and walked back to taehyung's, packing his bag as dialled rose's number.
