taehyung was the first one to wake up which he was quite pleased about, when he got up he looked to see jungkook was resting his head on his chest. he immediately felt his head and smiled when his head felt cooler. 

once he was able to get out of the bed he walked downstairs to heat up jungkook's food. he noticed the house was a bit of a mess so he started to clean up, not wanting jungkook to have to do anything when he got up.

by the time jungkook got up he did feel a little better, after getting changed into his day clothes. sweatpants and a grey jumper, he walked downstairs and immediately saw taehyung who was stirring the soup. 

"morning" jungkook whispered, walking towards taehyung who turned to look at him. bright smile on his face as he placed the hot bowl onto the table. 

"sit, sit" taehyung ushered him to the table, wanting him to eat quickly. 

"have you eaten?" taehyung was asked, the brunette nodded his head and grabbed his phone. 

"yeah I did, how are you feeling?" 

jungkook smiled, remembering everything that happened last night. 

"a lot better, thank you. I dont even know why I felt so sick" the raven replied, shaking his head as he had some of the soup. 

"thank you for all you did last night and this morning. I can tell you cleaned, you did not have to do that" taehyung smiled and shook his head. 

"you dont need to thank me, eat up." the brunette smiled, heading towards the lounge to watch something on tv while jungkook ate his breakfast in peace. the raven glanced at taehyung while he was eating, hearing the male laugh to whatever was playing on the screen was a site jungkook never wanted to let go. 

it would be nice to wake up to taehyung by his side everyday,  but he at times does not know where they stand. the way they were with each other last night, there was no way there was not something between them. 

they were flirting, and jungkook felt that taehyung was doing so back. he wondered if he should bring it up today, confess to taehyung that he likes him. he wants to be something more. he wants to be the one to have taehyung in his arms, not have to ask to kiss him or touch him. 

he wants to be able to say "im taehyung's boyfriend"..... "he is mine and I am his". it may seem a little dramatic but jungkook has never felt this way about anyone before. with taehyung everything felt so different. 

little did he know taehyung felt the exact same way. after last night his feelings have become more clear. the way he feels with jungkook was so special. whenever they held hands or he was in jungkook's arms he felt so happy. a feeling he has not felt in such a long time. 

he wants to see if jungkook likes him, he finds it hard to share his feelings so the best way to see if jungkook feels the same way is seeing if he does similar actions back. for example if he flirts with jungkook, see if he follows along. 

touching jungkook more, see if the male tenses or gets uncomfortable or see if jungkook starts to touch him more. 

tease him a little, pay close attention to his body language and so forth. so when jungkook finished his breakfast and cleaned the dishes he sat next to jungkook, both of them putting another episode of criminal minds. 

there was still a little bit of distance between them, taehyung wanted to start slowly testing his theory. he shuffled closer, keeping his eyes on the tv even though he felt their thighs touch. the raven gulped a little before he wrapped his arm over taehyung's shoulder. 

they both wanted to be closer, taehyung rested his head against jungkook's shoulder. the brunette smiled when he felt jungkook rest his head against his own. he could check the first step off the list. 

it definitely made him realise that jungkook felt comfortable with him. jungkook felt the same, they both had leaned back on the couch, a blanket over the both of them. 

jungkook was starting to imagine winter, both of them on the couch wrapped in blankets, wrapped in each others arms. taehyung was having similar thoughts. it felt nice being like this with jungkook. 

after they watched many episodes of criminal minds they decided to do some baking, while jungkook was getting all the ingredients out taehyung was looking for a bowl to use. 

"how come I have never noticed this tv in your kitchen?" taehyung gasped, staring at the tv that was on the wall under some cabinets. 

"oh, its for my mum to use if she wants to listen to the news or is following a recipe on a tv channel." jungkook explained, placing all the ingredients on the kitchen island. 

"she did this more when I was younger, ever since I was allowed to be left home alone. they both were not here very much" the raven continued, a sad look on his face. the brunette wanted to get to know more about jungkook and his life, so he wanted to ask more. 

"have you ever talked to your parents about how you feel when they leave?" taehyung asked as he started to measure the ingredients to make the cupcakes. 

"sort of, not to the full extent. they arent bad parents, I just want them around. I want to have lots of memories with them until they arent here anymore" jungkook commented soon the room began silent and the raven sighed and shook his head, looking up towards taehyung as he walked closer towards him. 

"sorry tae, I did not mean it like that-" jungkook started but taehyung softly smiled and shook his head. 

"no, you dont need to apologise. your right, you need your parents. no matter how old you are there will always be a part of you that wants them around, every chance you can get. cause once they are gone, all the memories you will have are the ones from your childhood. you need to talk to them kook"

"they need to know how you feel about this" taehyung whispered, rubbing jungkook's arm who seemed really tense after that conversation. 

"do you have regrets after you lost your nan?" jungkook asked, looking at taehyung who nodded. 

"hundreds of regrets but you could of lived with them your whole life and still have regrets. you will always have regrets after a loved one passes away and that is okay. a lot of people always say that you cant control any of that, cause we dont know when we will loose someone. part of that is true but the best thing I did was facing reality"

"accepting my regrets and carrying on to the best of my abilities to make nan and grandpa proud" jungkook nodded at that, he thought taehyung was so strong for how he finds the courage everyday to get out of bed and do life. 

"we need the baking trays, lets put the news on or something while we bake" taehyung said, wanting to create a familiar memory for jungkook. 

the raven smiled and nodded, turning on the tv in the lounge. once the news came on they both zoned out as they cooked, their attention going from the news to stirring the ingredients. 

"my vanilla cupcakes are gonna be so much better than yours" taehyung giggled, watching as jungkook cracked eggs into his chocolate batter. 

"have you seen how nice these chocolate cupcakes are going to look? your going to be embarrassed when you find mine taste better" jungkook replied, very smug about his baking. taehyung giggled, and walked towards jungkook's batter. he dragged his finger a little into jungkook's batter and swiped it onto the raven's nose. 

laughing when jungkook gasped, soon turning into tag around the house. the raven having some of taehyung's vanilla batter on his finger. 

"hey that is unfair, you have more of mine than i did of yours!" taehyung squeaked, running around the couches as jungkook tried to chase him. 

"come here pretty boy" jungkook winked, soon running after taehyung who ran into the kitchen. he let out a squeal when he felt an arm wrap around his waist and soon felt batter on his nose. 

they both burst out in laughter as taehyung turned around, their faces close. 

"maybe I might be wrong, the chocolate batter does look pretty good now" taehyung whispered, raising his finger to swipe the batter off jungkook's nose and wrapped his lips around his finger. 

"mhm, it is good" taehyung whispered, watching as jungkook's facial expression became a little stiff to full blown confidence. 

"let me take a bite of that batter on your nose" jungkook smirked, leaning into to bite taehyung's nose when the brunette pushed him off and ran back to his bowl. 

the raven was a little surprised that taehyung was teasing him so much, he loved it though. the tension between them was only growing thicker. 

after a few minutes more of laughing and talking they both started to put the batter into different cupcake tins. 

"on one news, today we bring you a really frightening story that is currently happening on the island of aroha" a ladies voice said through the screen, they both looked up from what they were doing to watch the tv. 

jungkook frowned as he listened to what she was saying. 

"after a horrible week of strong storms a winds, the toll count for deaths have become higher since the last storm. authorities  first suspected it to be part of the aftermath of the tornados and storms but after biopsy facts say otherwise. a conference will be held in two minutes after this ad break" and then ads came up soon afterwards. 

"so what is she trying to say? that the deaths that have been popping up lately have not been because of the storm damage?" taehyung questioned, placing both trays of cupcake batter into the oven. 

"yeah it sounds like it, I wonder what else it could be?" jungkook thought, looking to taehyung who shrugged.
