as it got darker and the bugs started to come out they both decided it was time to head back. both males feeling really tired, especially taehyung from all that crying and story sharing. the raven had both his hands gripping the steering wheel, his eyes glancing over at taehyung now now and then to make sure he was okay. 

he knew it would of been a lot for the male to share something so heartbreaking and devastating. it was like taehyung was relieving every event, feeling and emotion all in one. the raven did feel like their bond was stronger now, to him it sounded like taehyung never talked to anyone about this. 

it made him question about if he had any friends from home. when they arrived back at taehyung's, jungkook walked the brunette to the door. it was silent as jungkook watched the brunette unlock the door and step in. he smiled when taehyung turned to look at him, silence surrounding them as they wait for the other to say something. 

"what's your plans for when you get home?" taehyung asked, leaning against the door with tired eyes. looking straight at jungkook who cleared his throat, playing with the car keys in his hand as he replies "my parents are away on business again, so there is not much to do with just myself" 

taehyung felt sad for the taller, immediately thinking of an idea but felt hesitant asking. not because he did not want the male to, cause he really does but more so because he was scared of the males reaction. 

'fuck it' he thought before stepping forward slightly. 

"stay here for the night" taehyung stated, looking at jungkook to see the male's eyes widened. he could tell that the raven was not expecting him to say that. he bit back a chuckle when the taller replied "are you sure? I dont want to intrude" 

"your not intruding at all, I want you here. whats the point in being alone anyways when we both clearly have nothing else better to do" taehyung replied, stepping to the side to let jungkook in. he watched as the taller turned to lock his car before stepping inside. 

"gosh it got so cold all of a sudden" taehyung shivered, rubbing his hands over his arms as he walks to shut all the curtains. 

"is your aunty home?" jungkook asked, noticing how silent it was in the house. it looked like no one had been here since they were last there. 

"my aunty is currently away for a few days, her son is in hospital so she is wanting to be there for him" 

"does she know about it being your nan's passing anniversary?" the raven asked softly, following taehyung to the males room. 

"n-no, I did not want to tell her. I have not really been on my phone today. just wanting time away from it honestly. at times it makes me feel bad cause my parents are grieving over her as well and to cope I pretend like it never happened even though I can sense they are not here" 

to jungkook it made complete sense, he nodded and cleared his throat. 

"everyone grieves in different ways tae, dont be so hard on yourself. you have been through and are going through so much. whatever you feel, never push it away. always face it head on and notice that is how you feel and its okay" jungkook softly said, not expecting for taehyung to turn around and walk closer to him. 

taehyung wrapped his arms around jungkook's neck, his forehead was against the raven's neck. jungkook froze for a slight second before placing his hands around the smallers waist. 

"thank you for saying that" taehyung whispered, voice sounding so out if energy. 

"no need to thank me, I am always here" he whispered back. it felt like a minute went past before taehyung pulled away. 

"I like wearing baggy clothes at home, so I have a grey sweatshirt and pants for you to wear." taehyung hummed as he grabs them from his draws and hands them to jungkook. 

"go have a shower, I will have one after you. I will go make us some snacks to watch a movie" 

taehyung showed jungkook where the bathroom was before he headed towards the kitchen. he placed the popcorn packet and lollies on the counter, ready to get them prepared after he had a shower. while waiting for jungkook to finish in the shower he made sure all the windows were locked and shut. 

wondering as to why it was so cold. he made sure the front and back door was locked before shutting all the curtains he missed before. he turned the tv on and tried to find something for the both of them to watch, he was not sure as to what jungkook was into. 

a few minutes when by and eventually taehyung was in the shower and jungkook was sitting on the couch waiting for him. he had a quick call with his mother who was checking in on him, after he ended the call it only made his heart ache a little more. 

he misses his mother, even though he still gets to talk to her and see her now and then. it is not the same as having your mother always around. he was thankful he had caring parents but he wished they were more present in his life instead of being over the phone. 

after mindlessly scrolling through tiktok he heard feet patter fast against the ground. causing him to turn his head quickly to see taehyung running towards the kitchen with a towel wrapped around his shoulders. the raven chucked his phone on the large couch and got up to walk to the kitchen. 

when he made it to the kitchen he saw taehyung putting the popcorn into the microwave. 

"how was your shower?" jungkook asked, walking a little closer to taehyung who smiled when he noticed the raven next to him. 

"so nice!, its crazy how much better you feel after a warm shower" the brunette responded, jungkook hummed as his eyes landed on taehyung's wet hair. that was still dripping with water. 

"here, let me dry your hair" jungkook stated, taking the towel off of taehyung's shoulders before the male could say anything. he placed the towel over taehyung's hair as he slowly and carefully massaged the cloth around the brunettes locks. 

taehyung was about to say 'you dont have to' but as soon as he felt jungkook dry his hair while massaging his scalp his lips parted and he felt like he was in a whole other dimension, so he shut his mouth. 

he wished he was sitting down, he wanted jungkook to run his hands along his hair all day and night. his eyes flew open when he heard the microwave beep, he sighed and quickly got the popcorn out of it.

jungkook smiled seeing taehyung's hair mostly dry, he walked towards the bathroom to put the towel away before heading back and helping taehyung bring the snacks to the couch. 

"there are not a lot of movies on at the moment, the only thing that is on is criminal minds. are you okay with watching that?" taehyung asked as he sat down next to jungkook who was already snacking on the sour lollies. 

"im good with whatever" he replied, munching away on the lollies as taehyung turned the tv on and grabbed a blanket. the brunette placed the blanket over jungkook's legs, wanting to make sure the raven was warm as for some reason it was cold. 

jungkook did not even notice as he was to focused on the screen. taehyung started to dig into the food, both of their attention was glued to the screen. 

"wow some people are fucked up" jungkook said, eyes still trained to the screen as taehyung nodded. 

"but isnt it weird how you could grow up in a bad environment and it can turn you into a killer. its a pretty huge thing to decide to take a life" taehyung commented

"yeah but then you see some unsubs who have mental issues and split personalities, like some times they are clueless to what they are doing or the voice inside their head is telling them to do it" jungkook replied back, they both started to get into a deep conversation about serial killers and crime. 

now and then they went silent as their attention was drawn back to criminal minds. 

"I love it when derek calls garcia baby girl" taehyung said after they both just watched that moment. 

"I love the way they flirt and joke around and have each others backs and just have a solid connection" jungkook smiled at how passionate taehyung seemed to be over a tv relationship. he thought it was cute. 

an hours went by and it was one in the morning, they both had let out many yawns but were to glued to the tv to even pay attention to how tired they were getting. after watching a episode of criminal minds they ended up finding it on disney plus, wanting to watch a couple more episodes that turned into watching a whole season. 

it was jungkook who mentioned the time when he went to check his phone battery to see if he would need to ask taehyung for a charger. "oh berry, it is like one in the morning. are you tired?" jungkook asked, brushing his hair back with his hands as he looked at taehyung who let out a small yawn and nodded. 

taehyung turned off the tv while jungkook put all the junk food away, empty packets in the bin and made sure the house was tired before even going to sleep.  when taehyung opened his bedroom door he sort of forgot about where jungkook was going to sleep when he threw his blankets forward to get into bed. 

the raven was left alone in the living room, a little unsure of where to go. so he walked back to the couch and laid his head against a pillow, not bothering to get a blanket even though he was cold. 

taehyung walked back into the lounge to see the lights were out, he frowned and said "jungkook?" softly before turning the lights on by the wall, he saw jungkook sit up from laying on the couch. 

"whats wrong? you okay?" jungkook asked, clearly tired. 

"what are you doing? sleeping on the couch? no blanket? you must be freezing" the brunette sighed, walking towards him and extended his hand forward. the raven looked at the others hand and placed his own in his. 

"come on" taehyung whispered, watching as jungkook got up. hand in hand they both walked out the lounge, jungkook turned off the light before the headed towards taehyung's room. once they got into the brunette's room, taehyung shut the door and put the lamp on before turning off the main room light. 

taehyung smiled when he saw jungkook standing by the bed, obviously shy. 

"hop in" the brunette whispered, rubbing his eyes when jungkook slid onto the right side of the bed. taehyung slid in next, pulling the covers over them when the raven laid his head on the pillow. 

"night gguk" taehyung whispered, turning to the side as he reached to turn the lamp off. 

"night tae" he heard jungkook whisper back before the lights went out. taehyung shuffled under the covers, trying to get warm as possible. the raven tried to go to sleep but taehyung's shuffling was getting a little annoying, as minutes went by the taller sighed. 

"you keep shuffling tae? are you okay?" jungkook asked, sitting up a little to look at taehyung's back. 

"y-yeah, I am just freezing" taehyung whispered back, jungkook nodded. he understood now why the other was shuffling around, he was so use to the weather change here but he forgot taehyung was not. 

jungkook grabbed the top of the blanket as he shuffled closer to taehyung, resting his head near his before laying back down. he pulled the blanket more over them and wrapped his arm around taehyung's waist. 

the brunette gulped a little feeling jungkook's body so close to his and the raven's arm wrapped around his waist. jungkook pulled taehyung towards him so that his chest was met with the smallers back. 

Immediately taehyung felt warmer then what he was before. 

"thank you" taehyung whispered before finally shutting his eyes. 

"your welcome, sweet dreams tae" jungkook said before he fell asleep as well. 

taehyung expected to spend most of this day crying and grieving heavily, just like he was this morning. thanks to jungkook, he was not alone.
