it was the first day back after the weekend and taehyung really enjoyed spending time with jimin over the weekend. after the party they went to the beach and spent so much time on the sand, talking and laughing. it felt so nice, it was what taehyung needed. 

he was currently heading towards his sport class, his eyes landing on jungkook and soon looked away as soon as their eyes met. the raven had not talked to him since the party and now things were awkward between them. 

the raven sighed as he watched taehyung walk straight past him, he knew he needed to talk to taehyung about what happened and why he said what he said. he just needed to find the right time to do so. 

during pe class jungkook felt distracted the whole time, his eyes going from taehyung to liam. he did not trust liam even for a second. it was bad enough that liam hit on taehyung when the brunettes skin was covered. 

let alone now, taehyung in shorts and a white shirt. the males tan legs and thighs on full display. jungkook had to admit that the brunette's thigh's looked so smooth and soft. he just wanted to place his hand on them and keep them there. 

he felt his fist clench when he watched as liam whispered something to a friend and they both walked towards taehyung. liam staying behind a little as taehyung was nudged and soon was caught by liam. 

the male wrapped his arms around taehyung's waist, catching him before he falls. he heard taehyung gasp and when his eyes met liam's he looked so uncomfortable. that was enough for jungkook, the male dropped his basketball and walked over to them. 

he grabbed liam's wrist that was around taehyung's waist, and pushed his hand off. standing in front of taehyung who looked so confused. 

"how many times do I have to tell you to back off liam, he does not like you. he made that obvious" jungkook said, facing liam who frowned. 

"I was just catching him before he fell on the ground?" liam said, innocently but a hidden smirk behind the smile as he looked at the raven who knew all his tricks. 

"I know your tricks liam, back off. If I see you come near him again the only action you will be getting is a fist to the face" jungkook said, thankful that jimin moved taehyung away from them all. the raven walked off back to hoseok and yoongi who were passing the ball to each other.

taehyung was leaning against the wall, this time not smoking. he recently stopped, feeling like he did not need it anymore. this time he was watching a random youtube video on his phone, not paying attention to the male that sat next to him. he already knew it was jungkook, and decided to just wait till he says something.

"im sorry" jungkook whispered, watching at taehyung stopped his youtube video that he was watching and looked away from the raven. 

"I did not mean to hurt your feelings tae, I did not realise how it would sound before it came out my mouth" jungkook said, taehyung looked at him and gulped. 

"It was for a game jungkook, am I that unattractive that you cant kiss me?" taehyung asked, surprising jungkook a little. he was not expecting that reaction from him.

"no of course not tae, it has nothing to do with your looks." he replied, frowning that taehyung really thought that. 

"so why didn't you" he whispered, wanting to know the real answer. 

"I dont kiss people randomly, even if it is for a dare. I dont know if the male or women wants me to kiss them, I dont want anyone to feel like they have to kiss me just for the sake of the game."

"a lot of my friends just see kissing as kissing but for me it is different. I would only kiss someone if I was dating them or if I had a thing with them"

"consent to me is important tae, I did not want to peer pressure you into anything" 

"I am sorry I made you think you were unattractive, cause that is far from the truth" jungkook finished looking at taehyung who's facial reactions softened as he nodded. 

"thank you for explaining it to me, your a good person kook. I wish more people were like you" taehyung replied, softly smiling at jungkook who smiled back. 

"let me make it you to you, this weekend let me take you out and we can explore the island for the long weekend. you can stay at my place which is by a lake and I can teach you how to swim?" jungkook suggested. to taehyung this sounded amazing, he just had to check in with rose. 

"that sounds like fun, I will have to ask my aunty though but I will text you when I ask her" taehyung replied back.
