"Hello? Is this Jimin?" Jeongguk asked softly, watching Taehyung dry heave from the kitchen. "I'm Jeongguk..."
The younger listened for the hum that Jimin gave to explain why he had his number and why he was calling. "Your- er- friend, Taehyung is at my house and he needs you to pick him up?"
Jeongguk stopped listening to the other when Taehyung's beanie started to slip. He rushed into the living room, using his shoulder to hold up the phone to his ear as he adjusted the hat back in place.
"Oh, sorry. He's at my house because I saved him."
"I want to talk to him," Taehyung murmured, looking up with eyes full of pain. "Please, please, please, please-"
"Shh. Here, he wants to talk to you," Jeongguk told the phone as he handed it to the other, who was snuffling.
"Jiminie- is- is mom okay?" Was the first thing Taehyung asked. "Is she worried?"
"Of course she's worried. You never came home last night," Jimin said into the phone, listening to Taehyung's sniffles with a hurt heart.
"I was- was almost to the store," the boy paused, choking back sobs. He wasn't sure how to explain everything to him. "Is- is mom there?"
Jeongguk's friends listened to the boy, who squeezed his stomach with a gag more often than not.
"Hey, bud," Hoseok put his hand on Jeongguk's shoulder. "Yoongi and I are going to head to work. Can you and Namjoon handle him?" The elder nodded towards Taehyung, who was wiping his eyes frantically.
"Of course," Jeongguk snapped quietly, narrowing his eyes.
"Don't worry, momma," Taehyung smiled into the phone. "He saved me..." Taehyung jumped when the door slammed shut, the two people missing. "Oh okay. I'll talk you you and momma later. Bye.."
"Is he coming to get you?" Jeongguk asked, standing up to grab a warm washcloth from the kitchen, after Taehyung set the phone down.
Before Taehyung could asnwer, Namjoon sighed. "I hope so."
"Yah, I was asking Taehyung," Jeongguk sneered, walking back to the living room and started cleaning up Taehyung and around Taehyung. "Well? Is he?"
Taehyung swallowed at Jeongguk's soft tone he used when addressing him, and nodded.
"Is your mom okay?" Jeongguk asked, stretching over to the side to grab a blanket. Taehyung watched his muscles ripple with a shy pout and looking at the newly cleaned flooring with a nod, puffing out his cheeks.
"How sick is your mom?" Namjoon asked. Taehyung stayed quiet and kept his eyes on the floor, noticing Jeongguk's tattooed hands on the floor now and then.
"Hyung," Jeongguk said coldly, Taehyung's eyes snapping up immediately towards his doe eyes. "Stop being insensitive."
"I was just wondering," Namjoon argued back. "Where's his dad?"
"Hyung!" Jeongguk snapped. Taehyung watched as his muscles tensed with anger and back at Jeongguk's chest, observing the tattoos. "Did you do those yourself?"
Both of the other males quieted and looked at Taehyung, who was checking out the tattoos littered across the pale skin.
"I did the ones on my left hand and arm, but some else did my other tattoos," Jeongguk looked down hinself and noticed how many he had. Unlike Taehyung, who was pure and tattoo-less, Jeongguk and Namjoon were covered.
"Oh... could you give me a tattoo?" The dog gave hopeful eyes and smiled at the art on Jeongguk.
