Ryder POV

"It's a new school year." Xander says as I get to school.

"So?" I ask raising a brow at him.

"So? It's our senior year, our last year of high school." Xander says before I smirk.

"It also means new meat to eat from." I say making him roll his eyes.

"One day you'll meet a girl that will sweep you off your feet and make you fall head first for her." He says as I snorted.

"Yeah right, I'm a ladies man, not one that commits to just one." I say and he smirks.

"I'm telling you man, you'll fall hard for someone and you're going to regret everything you've done, you're going to rethink your whole life choices and become a better man just for her." He says causing me to pat his shoulder.

"Not a chance bud." I say chuckling smirking and waving at some girls smacking some of their asses as Xander rolls his eyes.

"Hey babe." I look to the side to see Rebecca already kissing Xander making me roll my eyes.

"I'll leave you two alone." I say but Rebecca only waved at me never pulling away from the kiss. I start heading to class when I'm stopped by one of my hookups who pressed me to the lockers and kissed me. Having nothing better to do I kiss her back gripping her ass when a fake cough was heard, I open my eyes and looked at the person who interrupted just to see a girl. She was beautiful, slim, brown hair falling over her chest and when I looked at her face I was surprised to find she didn't have any make up on, her eyes were a brown color and her lips were certainly ones someone would get addicted to, they looked so kissable.

I find myself pulling away from the girl I was kissing and telling her to leave while still admiring this new girl, I certainly hadn't seen her around before.

"Hey." I say smirking at her making her raise a brow.

"Hello." She says and her voice is so smooth, I look at her up and down again, her outfit didn't reveal much about her body yet she still looks so sexy.

"Can you move? My locker is the one behind you." She says making my smirk drop and move out of the way as she walks to the locker and opens it.

"You must be new here, I'm Ryder." I say leaning on the locker next to her while trying to catch her eye.

"Maya, and yes I am new here." She says giving me a sweet smile but.. it wasn't the flirty ones I was used to.

"Uh, it's nice to meet you." I say and she looks at me before nodding and going back to her locker pulling out a book.

"Um, do you need help finding your class?" I ask trying to get her attention.

"No, I'm good. I came here on the open house to get my schedule and see where my classes were, but thank you." She says smiling at me before closing the locker and walk away.. the hell just happen? Did I just get shut down? No, I didn't really try, it was just a normal conversation. I hear the bell ring and I start heading to class.

Classes were a drag and by the time it was lunch time I was more than a bit annoyed with some teachers, wasn't it enough I was going to their classes? Why do they have to be on me just cause I'm not looking at them?

"So these are Ryder and my boyfriend Xander." I hear Rebecca say before I raise my eyes to look at her just for them to fall on the girl from this morning.

"Guy's this is Maya, she's in my dance class." Rebecca says. 

"Hi, it's nice to meet you." She says waving her hand with a smile on her sweet lips.

"You too, it's rare for Becky to bring someone." Xander says smiling at her as she takes a seat next to Rebecca.

"Really? It's just she's pretty cool and dances so well." Maya says.. wait did I just learned her name?

"You do too, you have no idea the nightmare this school is when you're dating one of the cool guys." Rebecca says with a chuckle and Maya laugh.

"Trust me I know, my best friend back home was dating the captain of the basketball team, in my old school, that's a big deal." Maya says giggling.

"Really? What school did you go to?" Rebecca asked and Maya seemed to hesitate.

"It doesn't really matter." She says looking at her food picking at it.

"This is a pretty small town you know? You must've just moved here if you transferred to this school." Xander says as she bites her lip, making my eyes look at the action.

"I did." She said.

"So where did you move from?" Xander asked.

"The city." She says sighing pushing her food away. Of course she's from the city, explains why she didn't glance at me.

"Rich girl huh?" I say causing her eyes to look at me.

"That's enough Ryder." Rebecca says.

"No, let her answer." I say causing Maya to get up from her seat and look at me one last time before walking out.

"Nice going, you don't even know her for an hour and she's already mad at you. You know just cause she didn't flirt with you doesn't mean you have to be a fucking dick." Rebecca says as I roll my eyes.

"I only asked 1 question." I say.

"And she walked away." Rebecca says smirking at me.

"At least I know for sure I'll get along with her just fine." She continues before getting up and walking after Maya.. why do I even know her name?

"Not cool man." Xavier says.

"Says the guy who made her uncomfortable first." I say.

"Well at least you're not completely blind. But I didn't say she was a rich girl." He says.

"Because she is." I say.

"And why is that bad? She's not bragging and she certainly doesn't look like a stuck up like most girls you hang out with.. wait no, like all the girls you bang and leave. You don't know her." He says.

"I don't need to know her." I say.

"Well you're gonna have to." He says giving me a smirk.

"Because Becky likes her which means she'll be hanging out a lot with us." He continues as I roll my eyes.
