Rachel Roth was the teachers pet. She never spoke out of turn, she always knew the answer, and she was a straight A student. Garfield Logan was more like the teachers wild animal. He was always talking, never knew the answers, and was just barely passing. Complete opposites.

Their families were different too. Gar's family consisted of him, his adoptive mom, and adoptive dad. Rachel's was her father and her. Gar's parents were always pushing him to do better, Rachel's dad couldn't care less.

While they are very different, they also have some things in common. They both had their heart broken. Rachel was created on by Malchior, Gar was cheated on by Terra. They both lost at least one of their parents when they were young. And they both had some secret hobby no one knew about.
