My eyes slowly opened as a bright white light shine in my eyes. I felt a warmth on my hand. I looked to my left and saw a man. Quietly sleeping next to me. He held my hand. It seemed as if he stayed for a night or two straight. I watched as I listened to his slight snoring. A few minutes passed and I felt him start to turn. His eyes opened slowly. Red, crimson eyes. His red irises locked onto mine. They seemed to grow wide as his grip on my hand tightened.
" (Y-Y/n)!!!" He exclaimed. The stranger's grip became tighter. I tried pulling my hand away, but he held on tight.
" P-please. Let go of me!" I said a bit loudly. His eyes dulled as he quickly let go.
" Right. The effect of the fall." He said sadly.
" Excuse me, but may I ask... Who are you? And where am I?" I asked. He looked a bit depressed.
" Do you remember me?" He asked.
" ..... I know of you." I answered.
" As who?"
" As.... Someone... Special?" I felt very confused. I feel like I know him, but I've never seen him! His handsome smile was gone the more we talked about my memories. Apparently I fell off a cliff. Or, more like I was pushed off of the cliff. He told me we were a couple. Even if we are, I don't feel comfortable with him. Just because a stranger is telling me I almost died and that we are together. He sat on a chair in the corner of the room. More like slouched in a chair in the corner of the room. Or sulked. I feel bad. I feel guilt. For not remembering this handsome guy. He really is attractive.... I sighed as he looked out the window in despair. I cloud tell he was sad even though he tried to not show it. A few minutes of awkward silence passed. A nurse soon broke that silence as she walked in. Once she saw me, she looked panicked and called in the doctor. I was checked and fed and a whole bunch of stuff. Even when I upset him, the stranger looked worried for me and made sure I was in no harm. He was about to hold my hand, but hesitantly pulled his hand away. I frowned as nurses checked me with the doctor.
" All right (Y/n). You seem to be fine. Just, lay off anything that would give you stress and avoid school for now. I will notify your school." The doctor said.
" And my name is David Tennate. You can just call me 'The Doctor'. Or just doctor." He smiled at me. I smiled back and glanced at the man who stayed with me the whole time. His eyes were narrowed in a worried way. I should let him know I'm fine. As the nurses and The Doctor left, I say up and looked to the man sitting next to my bed, staring at the clock.
" So what's your name?" I asked.
" You know mine so it's just fair you tell me yours." He stared into my eyes a bit and sighed.
" Dark Link. You used to call (me on my cell phone XD no? Okay.) me Dark." He finished. I mouthed "oh". I looked to the side.
" W-well I hope we can start over again!" I stuck out my hand. He slowly returned my handshake. I looked at his ruby eyes. I got lost in them. We seemed to lean forward... Closer... A few inches apart... Closer... Barely touching... Clo-
" Time for your check ups!" A nurse burst in. Dark Link and I quickly separated. He looked cool, calm, and collected. I was a red hot train reck. Blushing and hiding it but remembering the moments that had just occurred and blushing again. The nurse looked up from her clipboard after she closed the door and looked at me worriedly.
" Oh no! Honey, do you feel well? Your face is really red!"
" *cough* Yeah! I-I'm uhh I'm fine!" I stuttered. She checked my temperature and sighed in relief. I smiled nervously and glanced at Dark Link. He was staring out the window. The nurse realized my look at him and whispered to me,
" You know, this man took you in and stayed with you for three whole day. Even if we asked him to leave, he refused. Now that's a boyfriend I would like." She laughed to me. I have a look of sympathy towards him.
" Yeah...." I answered.
