Part seven
I sighed as Jane left me alone in Dark's room again. He hasn't been back and I was bored as hell just sitting there. I heard the doorknob turn and I jumped and saw Dark open the door.
" W-welcome back!" I sputtered out.
" Yo." He put his hand in a plastic bag he had and pulled out a container of pills and threw them at me.
" What's this?"
" Your medicine."
" Oh..." There was silence. The dry air lingered and I sat in anticipation.
" So, um.. Where were you?"
" Getting your medicine. Why?"
" For like, the whole day?" Silence again.
" I guess not." He sighed.
" I was out clearing my mind. What else do you need to know?"
" ..." I just kept my mouth shut.
" Sorry for asking." I apologized. He smiled and pat my head.
" No need." He left to the bathroom and shut the door. I frowned and watched the bathroom door he closed. I knocked on the door.
" Hey, I'm going out on a walk to get some fresh air, okay?"
" Yeah." I walked out of his room and then out of his dorm. I walked to the field that was close tho the boy's dorm and sat on the grass. The sun seemed to be setting and I watched the beautiful sunset. I hear someone behind me and looked behind me.
" Hey." I smiled at the boy.
" Hello."
" You may not remember me. My name is Link?" I shook my head.
" N-no. Sorry." He smiled sweetly.
" Well then let's start start from the beginning. Hi. Name's Link." He put out his hand to shake mine. I shook his hand and smiled at him.
" You most likely know my name." I laughed.
" Yeah. Unless you forgot your name?"
" I am completely capable of remembering my own name." We laughed together. He sat down next to me and gazed to the setting sun.
" Beautiful, huh?"
" Yeah..."
" But not as beautiful as you." He looked over at me. I made an annoyed face. He smirked.
" What?"
" What's up with super cheesy compliment?"
" But I really meant it!"
" And I mean it when I say I already have a boyfriend."
" Yeah, I know. I'm uh, very fond of him." I smiled and looked back at the clouds and sky.
" But otherwise, it is beautiful." He said. I nodded in agreement.
" Yeah. It really is." For the next few minutes or so, Link and I just sat staring at the sky and laughing. He's a nice boy. A nice boy indeed.
