[Chapter 26: Teaming Up With The Shadows?]

Lauren's pov~

Later that night, I got home and went to bed. Yet, when I fell asleep, I found myself staring straight at a pair of Shadows. Not just any shadows. A Shadow of a bear, and rabbit.

"Long day huh?" The bear shadow spoke, looking at me. "I guess..." I said, before asking. "Wait, why have you bought me here again?" The rabbit shadow finally spoke up. "Oh dear it's oh so very clear is it not?" The rabit shadow then disappeared into thin air, before reappearing next to me. "We need your help. To kill Vincent once and for all!" They said. "But, why me? Can't you guys kill him yourselves?" I asked.

The bear shadow spoke again. "That is not possible for a mere Shadow. You see. We need someone to help us kill him, we can't just do it ourselves. We need you!" The bear shadow paused, letting the rabbit shadow continue: "You have the powers the do so! Your demonic syndrome is what holds the key to our freedom from this world! You just don't know why to use it." "I-I see. What do I need to do?" I asked, not sure. "WAKE UP!!" They both shouted in unison, forcing me to wake up. "I think my dreams are getting weirder, and weirder..." I trailed off yawning.

"But deary, it wasn't just a dream. But you do how sone weird ones." A voice spoke, I could tell it was the rabbit Shadow. "Get up Lauren. We have work to do!" Another voice spoke, it was the bear Shadow.

"Alright! I'm up! I'm up!" I said, getting out of my warm bed. Only to be greeted by the cold air. "Now get so I can change!" I said, as I walked over to my dresser, carefully doing so, blnot wanting to wake Mary up. They both nodded, before disappearing into thin air. I quickly got changed into a grey short sleeve shirt, and some light pink sweat pants, I walked out of my room, seeing it was 1:26 am as I passed by my alarm clock.

I walked downstairs following the two Shadows as the led me to my backyard. It was very large, and had rocks scattered everywhere. "Why are we out here?" I questioned out loud. "To get your training under way deary." The rabbit shadow answered. "But before we do. What are your names?" I asked. "Oh dear, I am Shadow Bonnie." The rabbit answered. "And I am Shadow Freddy." The bear answered.

"Alright. So you are both Shadows of the animatronics?" I asked. "I guess you could say we are..." Shadow Freddy though a loud, placing his thumb to his chin. "Yes Freddy, we are just Shadows. Shadows that can access the Deary's mind." Shadow Bonnie said, flowing over to me and placing both his hands on my head. "Please stop..." I said, shaking my head, causing Shadow Bonnie's hands to fall off my head.

"Have it your way deary, we must hurry now. Before any wakes up. Now..." Shadow q paused, snapping his fingers making a stone wall appear. "Pinch the wall." Shadow Freddy said.

"Okay. I know you guys are suppose to help me. But... HOW AM I SUPPOSE TO PUNCH DOWN A STONE WALL?!?!" I shouted. "Simple my dear, the way I will." Shadow Bonnie said, forcefully bursting the stone wall. I was left speechless. "H-how?" I asked.

"Look at your hands Lauren." Shadow Freddy said, pointing down at them. "But how is that gonn--" my voice cut off as I looked now at my hands in pure shock. They were covered in dark red dragon like scales. Pulling my shirt sleeve up, I can see the scales went all the way up to my elbows. "H-how?!" I questioned out loud, examining my arms. "Simple my dear, your demonic syndrome has not fully kicked in with you knowing the full extent of it's power. This is over half of it, though." Shadow Bonnie explained, running his black fingers down my arm. "But what does the extent of my powers look like? How will I know if I'm using the full amount?" I asked. "My dear Lauren. You will know. And we will be there." Shadow Freddy said, putting a hand on my shoulder. "Okay. I think I can do this..." I said, balling my hands into a fist.

I took a deep breath before closing my eyes and striking the stone wall with force. One hit was enough to bring the wall down crumbling. I open my eyes, seeing the stone wall destroyed right before my very eyes. A quiet 'woah' seeing it gone. "I told you. You are our saving grace now." Shadow Freddy said, putting a hand on my shoulder, along with Shadow Bonnie.
