I can't tell y'all enough how much I've enjoyed writing this story. I'm really not good with writing slow burns, but this was one I definitely enjoyed. Probably because I fell so in love with Iris and Dick's dynamic, but I won't digress on them too much. Y'all have already read too much about them!

Thank you guys for supporting this story from the get-go. Venturing into a new fandom is never easy, but the DC and Titans community was so welcoming and that was super comforting for me. This was definitely not a popular fic by any means, but y'all showed it so much love???? You guys really gave me the confidence to write for a new fandom, but to also continue writing and delve deep into these characters. Thank you so much!!!

Writing Iris was very comforting for me. I've never really put a lot of myself into a character, but I actually did this time??? I wouldn't say she's a self insert (especially, appearance-wise — I don't look like Margaret at all!), but some aspects of her life were based off mine. It felt cool to include them, because they almost made her more human, and it was good to see that you guys related to her too!

And just to be clear, I left the ending kinda open-ended for a reason. Maybe I'll pick up these characters again in Season 3 of Titans! But I can DEFINITELY guarantee you that Iris and Dick will show up in my battinson fic, TWO EVILS 😈 Which you should maybe check out, if you haven't 😉 (jk not forcing you lol)

To end this long ramble, I just wanted to give a quick shout out to soulofstaars for basically introducing me to Titans in the first place, and creating such beautiful pieces of art for this story! And also luckyvirgo and starscolliiide for always supporting this story and popping off with great DC fics of their own 💘
