"Mommy! Mommy!" The shrill cry of a young child rang out through the corridor of the big ship. "Mooooommmmmyyyy! Where are you?" The young child, no more than five years old, called out. She was a young togrutan girl, with white and blue lekku. She had a tan, human like skin tone, but still sported the traditional white togruta markings, just like her mothers. Her eyes shone a bright emerald green color.

She passed by a man and tugged at his pant leg. "Do you know where my mommy is?"

The man looked down at her and smiled. "Yes I do kiddo. She's right this way," the man said as he led the small child down the hallway. Soon they reached a large door and it slid open.

The child's eyes lit up as she saw her mom. She ran to her and hugged her from behind. "Mommy!" The child shouted cheerfully.

The woman turned around and hugged her daughter. She looked to be in her early thirties and had identical lekku color and nearly identical facial markings to her daughter. The only difference between the two was that she had orange skin.

"Hello tungu," the mother spoke softly. Her demeanor changed quickly, however. "I thought I told you to stay in our room until our meeting was done? Mommy's got important things to discuss."

"I know but it was soooo boring," the child said.

The mother sighed. "Okay, you can stay here as long as you're quiet. That's okay with everyone right?"

"Of course Ahsoka, we all love Carys," a young twi'lek replied.

"Thank you Hera." She turned back to her daughter. "Alright you can stay here with mommy, but you need to be quiet okay?"

The young girl made a motion to zip her lips and throw the key away. Ahsoka laughed, and turned back to the meeting. "Sorry Commander Sato, you may continue."

"It's no trouble at all Ahsoka," he replied. "Now, as I was saying, we need you guys to go to Ithor. We have a contact there that has supplied us valuable information on the Empire's Outer Rim plans, and he's recently been found out by the Empire. We need you to go in and extract him."

"You can count on us!" Ezra said enthusiastically.

"Should be easy," Zeb said calmly.

"When do you need us to leave?" Hera asked.

"As soon as possible," Sato answered. "The longer we wait, the greater chance there is that our contact is captured."

Hera just nodded in response, and turned to leave. The rest of the Ghost crew followed her.

Ahsoka had been frozen in place, not really paying much attention since Sato had mentioned Ithor. That planet harbored bad memories of her past. She hadn't been there since... she couldn't even think it, it was too barable to think that she hadn't seen...

"You coming Ahsoka?" Ezra asked, jarring her from her thoughts. She shook her head and looked up to the boy and smiled.

"Right behind ya," she said with a wink. She grabbed Carys's hand and the two walked towards the airlock where the Ghost was attached to the Command Ship.

Once aboard the ship, Ahsoka headed for her and Carys's quarters. Carys had gone to play with Ezra and Sabine, she had taken quite the liking to the pair, and they enjoyed her company the same. This was a relief for Ahsoka because it meant that she could have some alone time sometimes. She loved Carys, but she could be a handful, and she needed a break sometimes.

Once she reached her room, she sat on the floor to meditate. It seemed she was doing this a lot more in her free time then she used to. When she was Anakin's padawan, she didn't remember ever meditating, but now she did it almost every day. It helped her keep a level head with everything that had happened in her life.

Today, she was trying especially hard to rid her mind of any thoughts about Ithor, or what had happened there in her past. She had managed to suppress most thoughts of the planet, but she just had to be on the team that was being sent there. She easily could have just asked to sit this one out, but the others could be suspicious and she may be forced to tell them everything that had happened in her past. So far, she had only told Hera, and she would prefer to keep it that way.

As if on cue, there was a knock on her door. She broke from her medication and used the force to open the door. Standing there was Hera Syndulla, pilot of the Ghost, and leader of the Ghost Crew. She walked in and closed the door behind her.

"Ahsoka... I know your past with this planet and everything that has happened there. If you want out of this mission before we leave, and want to stay here with Sato, I would understand completely."

Ahsoka smiled weakly at Hera. "Thank you Hera, but I want to go. I don't want the others to get suspicious, and besides, I can't completely avoid a planet for the rest of my life. Maybe going there will help ease the pain anyways. I can exercise some of my inner demons."

Hera nodded at her. "If at any point in the mission, you feel you need to take a step away, just do so. I'll cover for you with the rest of the group."

Ahsoka smiled and hugged Hera. "Thank you. I couldn't have asked for a better friend through all of this."

Hera smiled and returned the hug. After they parted, Hera walked out without saying a word. Ahsoka resumed her meditating, but not for long. Soon after Hera left, Carys came bursting though the door, and jumped onto her mothers lap. Following short after were Ezra and then Sabine.

"Hey Carys! Give that back!" Ahsoka heard Ezra call.

"You could hurt yourself!" Came Sabines voice. Carys just sat huddled in her mothers lap laughing.

Upon coming to the room, Ezra abruptly stopped, causing Sabine to run into him. "Sorry to bother your meditation Ahsoka," Ezra said sheepishly.

Ahsoka slowly opened one eye and looked from Ezra and Sabine, to her child. She sighed. "Carys, what did you do this time?" Ahsoka asked.

"Nothing mommy!" She replied trying her best to keep a straight face, and hide whatever she had taken.

"Not true!" Ezra contradicted. "She stole my lightsaber again!" Carys couldn't help it and started laughing again.

"If that thing is your life like you Jedi say, you would be dead multiple times by now," Zeb said joining the conversation. This caused the entire group to laugh, save of course Ezra.

"Not funny! She can use the force and just take it off. I can't stop that!" Ezra said, trying to defend himself.

"Whatever," Zeb said rolling his eyes and walking away.

"Carys, did you take Ezra's lightsaber again?" Ahsoka asked sternly.

"Yes mommy," Carys said looking down.

"Give it back to him."

"Fine." Carys used the force to toss the saber back to Ezra. For a young child, she had a very good knowledge of the force and how to use it. Ahsoka had taken it upon herself to start Carys's training young so she could defend herself in today's climate.

"Thank you," Ezra said before storming off. Sabine rolled her eyes and followed him.

Ahsoka turned back to her daughter. "How many times do I have to tell you not to do that? You could get hurt!"

"But mommy, you always tell me about how you and Mr. Ani used to not listen to orders."

Ahsoka bit her lip, Carys had her there. "Yes, but that was... different," Ahsoka replied.

"Okay mommy, I won't take Ezzy's lightsaber again," Carys promised. Ahsoka knew this promise would last a day or two, just like all the other times.

"Alright Carys. Go see if Aunty Hera needs any help flying the ship." AT the mention of this, Carys's eyes lit up. She loved flying and had always said she wanted to be a pilot one day. Carys ran off towards the cockpit, leaving Ahsoka to her meditation once again.
