A couple years later, another royal event happened. One that was between both the kingdoms of Koralmino and Ipsidon. Another coronation, but not just a coronation. It was also the day of a royal wedding.

Jango walked Omega down the aisle, the young mer-princess looking so lovely in her sandy pearl-colored dress decked with little pearls and seashells on the bodice. The former sea king had tears in his eyes as he and Omega reached the altar. Although he always imagined Omega marrying a merman someday rather than a human, he still couldn't believe this day had come so soon. Jango hugged his daughter before she would step up to her groom.

"I love you, Daddy." Omega whispered into her father's ear with a kiss on his cheek.

And Omega stepped up onto the altar with Benni.

All of Omega's brothers had tears in their eyes as they watched Omega up there with Benni. Even Crosshair shed some tears for his baby sister. Arla also looked so proud of her niece, and Gonky squeaked for his girl. Not a dry eye was to be seen on this day.

"May I have the rings?" said the preacher.

And Estrella stepped up, the wedding rings on her horn.

Benni placed a beautiful gold ring that looked like two mermaids holding a sapphire as blue as the ocean onto Omega's finger. It was the prettiest piece of jewelry Omega had ever seen.

Benni and Omega smiled at each other with so much love in their eyes, especially knowing that after the rings came the moment they'd been waiting for.

"By the power vested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife, king and queen of Ipsidon. You may kiss the bride."

And Benni did kiss Omega. This kiss was perhaps their most passionate kiss ever.

If tears weren't pouring before, the waterworks definitely were on now.

"I'm not crying! You're crying!" Wrecker cried, and he blew his nose into Tech's jacket.

"Wrecker!" Tech whined in disgust.

Now that Benni and Omega were married, they were officially crowned king and queen of Ipsidon, and although an alliance was already sealed between this kingdom and Koralmino, now the alliance was totally unbreakable.

Both the kingdoms were in celebration of this momentous occasion. Omega's family was so happy for their youngest member. Omega, of course was going to move into Benni's palace, but she promised her family she would always come to visit, and they could come visit her anytime.

Of course, now that Benni and Omega were married, there was one more thing for them to do after the reception: head off on their honeymoon.

Benni and Omega were going to travel beyond Ipsidon and Koralmino together. Both of them wanted to see beyond what they already knew about their own worlds and each other's, and now, they would go and explore the unknown together.

"Ready for a real adventure?" Omega said as she and Benni boarded the ship that would take them on their honeymoon.

"Anywhere we go, as long as I'm with you, it's an adventure." Benni said, kissing his new wife's cheek.

"Oh! I almost forgot!"

Omega took out her bouquet of anemone flowers and tossed it into the air for one of the single ladies to catch. And Estrella jumped up and caught it in her mouth.

Now we can walk! Now we can run!

Now we can stay all day in the sun!

Everyone waved goodbye as Benni and Omega began sailing away. As a final goodbye present, Arla raised the royal trident and made a rainbow appear in the sky as the flocks of doves were released..

As they sailed off on their first big adventure, just the two of them, Benni once again wrapped his arms around Omega and leaned forward. And Omega closed the distance with another passionate kiss to her new husband's lips.

"And they all lived happily ever after. The end." Garrett finished.

"I just love a romantic story with a happy ending." Gabby said, wiping a happy tear from her eye.

"I never get tired of hearing your favorite childhood bedtime story, Daddy." Goldie said. "Now it's my favorite too."

"I wonder what it's like to be a mermaid." Mona wondered out loud.

Boba assured Mona it was fun, but not easy to learn how to be; he spoke from experience. Even before he had magic; when Gabby showed him how to use a magical pearl to become a merman, he struggled like Anakin at first to swim with a tail.

"Alright, kids." Garrett said. "I'm glad you all enjoyed the story. Now it's bedtime for everyone. You'll all need your rest to rehearse for the big show."

"It's true," said Teatra. "A good night's rest is essential for both cast and crew."
