THE DRIVE TO THE airport was silent. Everyone was quietly munching on their fries and burgers as Mickey drove. The music played softly through the speakers, but no one could bring themselves to listen to the happy words. Melina and Ella held onto Rainbow's hands in the middle seat as Jamie opted to sit behind them with a solemn look.

Ella was furiously wiping away her tears, trying to be as quiet as possbile. No one wanted Rainbow to go, but if it's what she really wanted then they couldn't do anything about it. There was one rule about their friendship and it was that if someone wanted to do something and had their heart set on it, the others would have to go along with it. No matter how much they all didn't want this it happen.

Mickey parked the car once they neared the airport causing everyone to file out. Rainbow was the last one out now the car and took in a deep breath of Californian air with a light sigh.

"C'mon, your flight isn't for another twenty minutes." Melina softly tugged Rainbow towards the front door but it made the woman stop.

"Wait," Rainbow opened her purse and pulled out a handful of letters making Melina's eyes go wide. "Send these out for me."

"What are these?" Melina asked as she looked at the stack of envelopes in her hand.

"They are letters I wrote for all of you, and some other people-"

"Why the fuck is his name in this stack?"

"Mel, it's just a letter." Rainbow sighed and put her hands on her shoulders. "Just promise me you'll send them out for me?"

"As much as I want to burn this one in particular," Melina held up the one the many envelopes with utter disgust. "I will do it for you because I love you."

The sad girl smiled and pulled her friend into a quick hug. "Thank you. Now we should head inside before we all get recognized."

"Apperently only we have to do all the heavy lifting." Jamie said as he walked pasted them, pulling one of Rainbow's bags with him.

"Hey! You don't have to carry my stuff!" Rainbow ran after him in a sprit.

As Melina watched her go, she stared at names written on the letters and chewed on her inner cheek. His letter felt like it was burning in her hand, and all she wanted to do was throw away Tom's letter. She sighed and shoved all the letters in her bag, running after her crazy friends and made a mental note to head to the post office right after this.

After Rainbow successfully checked in and got all her things together, she was the centre of attention within her friends. Someone was always holding her hand or resting their head on her shoulder when they sat around, waiting for her flight to be called. Instead of wanting her final moments with her best friends to be miserable and teary-eyed, Rainbow cleared her throat and rose from her spot and stood in front of them.

"Y'all gotta lighten the fuck up."

"You're moving away to another country how the hell are we suppose to be happy about that?" Becca sassed to her, a small scowl etched on her lips as she crossed her arms over her chest.

"I'll visit you losers," Rainbow softly kicked Becca's knee. "Plus you guys can visit, and phones exist! We can call, text, FaceTime, Skype, anything!"

"We shouldn't mope around," Jamie stood up and wrapped an arm around Rainbow's shoulder. "I saw a Starbucks around here, and I'll pay for everyone's drinks."

"I'm down for a free drink," Ella stood up, and wiped her eyes with a sniffle causing Mickey to get up as well and pull her towards him. "Let's go,"

Rainbow's eyes fell on Becca once Melina got up and held her hands out towards her. "Get up, asshole."

Becca huffed and glared at her friend before grabbing her hands as she got pulled up. "We need a group hug first. I absolutely demand it."

Jamie was the first one to pull Rainbow and Becca into a hug. A short laugh left everyone's lips as everyone started to join in, wrapping their arms over each other. Melina chuckled softly, snuggling her head into Rainbow's back as Mickey patted her shoulder and kissed Ella's temple.

"You guys are my home." Rainbow said with a breathless chuckle and a small sniffle. "You're my family and I love every single one of you."

"My mascara!"

"Awe we love you too!"

"Fuck, I can't breathe!"

Rainbow finally boarded her plane and sat down in her seat near the window. She let out a shakey breath and wiped her eyes, sighing softly and smiled sadly as she stared out the window, waiting for the plane to take off. Her phone buzzed in her pocket, making her take it out and find that she had another Instagram notification.

Her eyes scanned the Instagram app and chewed on her lip. Her finger hovered over her own profile before tapping into the settings. Rainbow thought for a moment. She really needed this, but was this the smartest idea? Is this the person she wanted to be? She shut her eyes for a moment, memories and pictures of her smiling with Tom flashing into her head making her gasped quietly and open her eyes quickly.

Without another thought, she pressed the temporarily delete your account button after scolling to the bottom of her page. Then Rainbow closed her phone and exhaled loudly, running her hands over her face. She was so emotionally and mentally tired, she didn't even realize that someone sat down next to her.

"Had a long day?" an Australian accent nearly made Rainbow jump out of her skin.

"Jesus fuck-" her hand flew over her heart and darted to the man next to her.

"Oh shit," he apologized, his eyes turning into concern a the woman he scared half to death, "sorry about that."

Rainbow regained her breath and gave the guy an annoyed look before huffing softly. "Yeah, you better be."

"Wow, you're feisty." he chuckled.

"And you're quite annoying." she crossed her arms over her chest before rolling her brown eyes.

He grinned and held his hand out towards her with a charming smile, "I'm Renzo,"

Rainbow looked at his suspiciously but mocked Renzo's smile and put her hand in his, shaking it softly. "Name's Rainbow,"

"Whoa! Seriously? That's so cool-"

"I'm immediately regretting this."

But sadly this is the end of this book, don't fret tho!! There will be a second book called "War of Hearts" and I'm so excited for it.

And yes, you have met one of the newest characters, Renzo! And boy, am I excited for this. There are two other characters that will join this story and hopefully you'll enjoy them as much as I do!

But before I end this book, I have a question for all of you: Do you think Rainbow will ever forgive Tom?
