"ABOUT DAMN TIME." RAINBOW sat up from her bed as she saw Tom enter her room with the sandwich she's been waiting for.

"You literally don't have any food in your fridge." defend Tom as he handed the plate to her before taking a seat across from her.

Rainbow shrugged as she took the plate, grinning when she noticed it was nutella and marshmallow fluff. Aka her favorite combo ever. "I've been meaning to get food." she took a bite a moaned at the taste.

"Ella said these were your favorites." the british boy informed her as she ate, almost forgetting he was even there.

"Of course she did." she rolled her eyes before taking another bite and shifting around in her spot, pulling Tom's blanket/sweater thing closer to her body.

Tom felt a tiny smile creep on his lips, remembering that Rainbow was wearing his sweater. The events of last night were still fresh in his mind, and to be honest he wondered if she remember as well. Actually, there were a lot of things he wondered that she remembered. But he couldn't bring himself to ask if she did because one, he didn't want to come off weird for asking such a question. And two, he didn't know of he wanted the answer.

And at this point, he didn't know if he was thinking about last night and Rainbow's confession, or the first time they met which led to an... eventful night at his place. As he thought, memories of that night would play in his mind, as if it were some sort of home movie exclusively for him, but as the memories were albeit pleasant, he felt guilty.

Tom only planned to get to know Rainbow and make sure that she wasn't pregnant, because he didn't remember using protection that night. But with his plan came unexpected twists and turns. He got more than what he bargained for honestly. A newfound friendship with Rainbow and feelings. He never expected to have butterflies when he was with her, but now he can cross that off his unexpected list.

"Dude," Rainbow snapped her fingers in his face. "I know I'm attractive and all, but you've been staring at me for like five minutes straight."

"O-Oh, sorry." Tom blushed and rubbed the back of his neck. "Kinda out of it."

Rainbow scoffed and put her plate to the side table. "I'm the one hungover." She rolled to the other side of the bed and reached for the floor to grab a water bottle, or something to drink that she put there. "Do I have tea in the cupboards?"

"Everything is nearly gone, Rainbow."

"I like to eat, okay?"

"Clearly," Tom joked before earning a punch to the shoulder.

"Are you calling me fat, Holland?" Rainbow deadpanned, putting her hands on her hips as she stood up. "You know I usually wouldn't care, but that's just an outrageous comment to make-"

"I- What?! N-No! You are definitely not fat, and even if you were I wouldn't even think about that." Tom's eyes scanned her fit frame,  his eyes lingering at the sliver of exposed skin near her waist before feeling his cheeks redden.

"Eyes up here, Holland." she snapped her fingers again before letting out a small snicker. "I was joking, but thank you Queen Elizabeth, my confidence has been boosted but so has my headache."

Rainbow turned around to her dresser, peeling off Tom's sweater as she started looking for a different shirt. When she found her favorite blue tee, she pulled off her shirt without a warning. Rainbow started to hum a small tune as she got her blue tee on and turned around to find Tom covering his eyes with his hands.

"Oh shit, sorry. I forgot you were there for a moment." she blushed as he slowly uncovered his brown eyes.

"Nothing I haven't seen before." Tom mumbled under his breath.

"What?" Rainbow rose a brow as she didn't hear anything and started to put her hair up.

"Nothing, just a heads up would be nice." he rubbed the back of his neck with a sheepish grin.

"Yeah, yeah. Now let's go grocery shopping."

"Whoa, I did not sign up for that."

"I didn't sign up for a lot of things. That's life for you, now c'mon I need food."

"You just ate-"

"I'm a growing girl, Tom. Let's go."

"What kind of name is Rainbow? Like seriously."

"A fucking amazing name, asswipe." Rainbow gave him a light shove as she grabbed a box of Cinnamon Toast Crunch. "Why name your kid some basic white name like Karen or Sarah? Rainbow sounds fucking a-m-a-z-i-n-g."

"Maybe because Karen and Sarah are normal names?" Tom scoffed as he pushed the metal cart that was nearly filled with a variety of foods. "Plus, you're anything but a Rainbow."

Rainbow glared at him before throwing a pack of gummy bears at him and flicked his face. "You know, I liked you better over text."

Tom smirked and caught the pack of gummy bears before they fell. "So you do like me."

"Whoa, slow your roll Spider-Guy." she waved her finger in his face, but used the falling strays of hair that framed her face to hide her red cheeks. "I never said that."

"I recall that 10 seconds ago you did." he looked at her before reaching for a bag of Doritos. "I wouldn't blame you though, I am a pretty amazing guy."

"You're acting like a damn prick, that's for sure." she grumbled before pulling the cart away and walked into another aisle. "I need... I need you," Rainbow picked up large jars of nutella, peanut butter and marshmallow fluff off the shelves then placed them into her cart.

"Are you done?" Tom finally found Rainbow after searching three aisles for her.

"Just about," she looked down at her cart and started mentally checking if she had everything. "I think I am."

"Great," he grinned before waking next to her, helping push the cart. "and hey, do you wanna get lunch after this?"

"My god, yes. I'm starving." Rainbow grabbed her stomach, dramatically groaning.

"You ate an hour ago." Tom pointed out as they got closer to the check out lanes.

"And like I said an hour ago, I'm a growing girl, Thomas." she stuck her tongue out at him. "This one is open you goof." she guided them to an open lane with a kind looking old woman.

"Gee, sorry. I just happened to find some fans a few feet away." Tom looked ahead of her, causing Rainbow to find a group of teens outside near the windows with there phones out, some of them even with the flash on, and taking pictures of the two.

"We'll say hi to them after." Rainbow smiled at the teens, sending them a small wave.

"Agreed." Tom nodded and started to put her items on the belt.

"Hello," the old woman with the tag 'Melanie' on her red apron. "did you two find everything?"

"I'm pretty sure she found everything." Tom chuckled, putting two loaves of bread up.

"Hey, I like my food." Rainbow defended herself before looking at Melanie with a small smile. "Men, amiright?"

"Damn straight," Melanie nodded in agreement, leaving Tom and Rainbow in a small fit of stiffled laughter at the unexpected reply.

After they got Rainbow's groceries and greeted the fans at the front of the store, Tom and Rainbow were walking to his car until someone walked up behind them. They heard a series of clicks, causing the two to turn around and find a paparazzi guy flashing pictures of them.

"So you two are dating?" he asked, disregarding the annoyed looks on both Tom and Rainbow's faces.

"Goodbye," Rainbow got to her side of the car and started shoving her stuff in as Tom opened it.

"Wow everyone is going to love this." the man snickered as he continued to take photos.

"Mate, can you not?" Tom tried to not be rude as he put Rainbow's things away.

"Sorry man, it pays the bills." the man shrugged as he snapped photos.

"Look, I'll answer one question if you stop taking pictures." Rainbow turned to the guy, putting her hands to the side as she sighed. "I'm hungover as fuck and those flashes aren't making it any better."

The man looked between the two before nodding and putting his camera away. "Fine."

Rainbow looked at Tom and licked her bottom lip before turning to the short man. "You've got thirty seconds."

"What's the deal with you two? Are you like dating?"

"Absolutely not."

"We're just friends."

"Okay bud, bye now." Rainbow turned back around before hearing more clicks and groaned inwardly.

"Dude," Tom groaned at the man before opening his car door.

"Whatever, I've got better shit to do." she grumbled and got into the car.

The man started to laugh as Tom started up the car. "You know, I'd kill myself too if I was dating such a bitch like you."

The comment made Rainbow's throat close up, unable to scream back at the man. She didn't even understand why that even had to be mentioned, but hell- she was made, fucking livid at such a degrading comment. But she knew this is what the guy wanted. He wanted to get pictures of her angry and crying over her ex, and there was no way in hell was Rainbow giving that piece of shit the reaction he wanted.

So instead, she turned on her camera and made sure to catch the piece of shit harassing them. Tom looked over at her, one hand on the steering wheel while the other was rested on the console. He didn't understand how calm she could be. Out of everyone he knew, Rainbow would be the first person to spit out an insult at the man, but instead she was sitting there. Staring ahead with a calm look on her face.

Rainbow softly placed her hand over his, sensing that he was staring at her and it was as if she was saying 'don't even bother' with the simple gesture. So Tom complied. Their fingers intertwined as Tom started driving off and Rainbow put her other hand our the window, giving the paparazzi a not so nice hand gesture.

When they were a few blocks away, Rainbow uttered two simple words, "Thank you."

"For what?" Tom glanced at her through the corner of his eyes.

"Last night, this morning, a few seconds ago." she softly squeezed his hand before breathing out quietly, "Everything."
