So what I had in mind was that nightmare was crying from his mortal mothers loss and cross being the goddess of grief sensed that he was grieving and she talked with him for a long time. I'm gonna make a comic about this so -3-, another thing I wanted to say was that thing on cross head is a vail and that vail was givin to her by nightmare after comforting him, that vail was made with nightmares dark magic and he is the only one to touch the vail(cross can still touch it too) and to any god to touch it their hand is to sting and hurt but to any mortal who touches cross or the Vail is to be burned alive :3
