The Traitor Guardian of the Eastern Gate
THE GARDEN OF EDEN
4004 BC
How could Crowley do this? Azira had flown away, gone down Below again. His head was filled with the demon, his wings, his lovely short curled hair, that was as white as his wings, even his grey toned eyes with those strange rectangles are gorgeous. If he wasn't so devoted to Her, if Gabriel the Archangel was such a nightmare, he'd argue with them, yell at them for lying.
He was taught that demons were all disgustingly, ugly, sinful and slimy beings. He was taught there was no redeemable factors about them, however Azira had proven them wrong. Sure, he stole a Flaming Sword, but he gave it away. Either getting rid of evidence of a crime, now unable to get it back, it did have an undertone of goodness, as the humans were going to be cold, defenceless, and the Flaming Sword would help them... He does hope the demon didn't get into any trouble. Like he is.
Currently, the angel was fixing the toned Wall, placing a brick back in place. When suddenly, a bright warm light shone on him, and he then stood rigid, and tense, he looked and felt nervous, shuffling on his feet, from one to the other. She was angry at him; from the apple incident? From talking to a demon? Which one?!
Crowley, Angel of the Eastern Gate.
"Yes, Lord?" Crowley asked, loudly. He held a hand out, covering his eyes with the slight shade, the light was blinding as it beat down on him. His wings were now away.
Where was you when Adam and Eve ate the apple, from the apple tree?
Oh dear, he was in trouble for that! But, it didn't seem as if she knew it was is fault! Maybe he could get away with this is he plays his cards well, however, it should be known, angels can't lie, they're physically unable to lie, they stutter and stumble. Sadly, Crowley is no different to this lying business, not matter how unsure he was with God or how curious he was with humans. He decided to stumble through a lie, and hopefully he was successful.
"Apple? Right." He had pressed himself against the wall, looking up to the light, squinting. He placed a hand on his chest, his golden ring on his pinkie finger glistened, catching the light. "Um... uh..." He made a ball shape with his hand, "round, red, shiny thing. Yes..." He laughed nervously. Maybe, he could throw Azira in the mix? No, lying and he didn't want the cute demon in trouble. Would he be in trouble? Would he get a standing ovation?
"Uh, oh must have, uh..." He looked around, as if wandering where it was. "What, uh, what apple tree?" He asked, swallowing a thick clump of saliva. He looked up again with a nervous smile.
The apple tree in the middle of the Garden.
"Oh, that apple tree!" Crowley called out, laughing in slight fear. "I was... You see..." Think of lie, any old lie. Why must he be an angel? He can't lie as an angel! "I'd forget which head was mine, next!" He smiled, shoulders tense with nerves as he looked up at the sky, looking at the holy light. "It doesn't matter now... Why, why ask?"
Suddenly, he had a thought, "were you letting them back in?!" Was She really that nice, good? Was God's 'ineffable' plan just a... chance?
The light went away suddenly, and he got no response, nothing besides a bit of wind. He realised he made a mistake letting the two humans eat the apple, "oh no..."
