Victoria Lucy Jones
(Trigger Warning:Racism, slavery & sexism.)
Victoria Lucy Jones was born on the 3rd of February in 1755. She was raised in a loving home by both her father & mother. She was unfortunately the oldest of 8 children, 2 brothers & 5 sisters, fraternal quintuplets. Unfortunately her mother passed away due to childhood complications after giving birth to her 5 younger sisters. Nevertheless, her home was surprisingly peaceful despite all the drama around her. Even though her family had bought slaves in the past, it was only to set them free after the purchase as they don't wish to own any as it was morally wrong to do so. She was very close to her father as she was the one who got along with him most. If she wasn’t a woman, she would have his property when he dies. Since however, it exists, he decides to give it to his daughter's future husband who is near her age & is very sickly. Her future husband to be is John Thomas Wilson & they were to be wedded at age 16 on the 24th of March in 1771. She soon catches her husband cheating but she really doesn't care, she wants books. However, she decided to tell her husband that she won't tell anyone that he was cheating with a guy if she was in charge with all financial expenses & that he bought her more books, specifically equivalent of 3 libraries, & he did just that while she was pregnant with 2 twin boys. She lived a peaceful life while getting along fine with her husband's lover when ever he came over as she wasn't against it, she just wanted more books & wanted to be in charge of her own financial situation. Her husband joined in the Boston Tea Party in 1773 & ended up dying during the protest. She soon join the Daughters of Liberty & helped out during the American Revolution, hiding soldiers & even gathering information. Although she didn't get the highest medal of honor, she didn't care, she had books. She lived the rest of her days in peace & died on the 4th of April in 1850 at age 95.
