SIXTEEN — ( INTERROGATION ! )

RUDY AND SYDNEY HAD A MEETING WITH AN INTIMACY COACH THE DAY BEFORE THEY HAD TO FILM THE FLASHBACK SCENE FOR EPISODE 3. It was weird sitting in a room with someone who was discussing how filming was going to work and how they were going to make it less awkward for them both when the two had been in that situation before, when they were dating. It wouldn't be the first time the two were that intimate with each other.

The coach talked to them about how long the scene would go on for after most of the dialogue finished. Jonas had told Sydney and Rudy that he hadn't put much dialogue in so the two were free to add whatever lines in that they wanted. So she told them how long the scene would go on for and how much speech they could add in.

When their coach made sure the two were okay with it all and understood what they would be doing, that was it till they actually had to film. But Sydney knew it wouldn't be the last times she'd see her. She had a feeling the next script they were going to get would have another intimate scene. Sydney was also sure the intimacy coach had to be on set while filming the scenes too.

Sydney was able to go back to her apartment after the meeting, it was the last thing she had that day and she wanted to get home before everyone had arrived to watch the second episode of Euphoria. She was only home for an hour when Madelyn wandered into her room. Sydney was lying on her back on her bed as she scrolled through instagram.

The girls smiled at each other as Sydney locked her phone and placed it beside her. "Hey, how was the scene you had to film with Chase today?" Sydney asked Madelyn, who lied down beside her. Madelyn and Chase had to film their first kissing scene that morning and Sydney knew Madelyn was feeling a little nervous about it.

"It was okay, actually." Madelyn told her, closing her eyes once her head hit the mattress of Sydney's bed.

"Oh yeah." Sydney teased, leaning up on her elbow so she could see Madelyn properly.

Madelyn noticed the teasing tone of Sydney's voice straight away, making her eyes shoot open. "Not like that!" Madelyn claimed, trying to fight the blush rising to her cheeks. Sydney laughed at Madelyn's now flushed face before falling back on the bed to her original position.

The girls were silent for a few moments before Madelyn spoke up. "Tell me more about you and Rudy." The question took Sydney by surprise but she couldn't say she hadn't expected it at one point. She knew if she was in Madelyn's position she'd be asking lots of questions.

"Why?" Sydney let out a nervous laugh.

"I'm curious!"

Sydney then lent back up on her elbow. "What do you wanna know?" She asked, staring down at Madelyn. She figured it wouldn't hurt answering a few questions about her and Rudy's relationship.

"How did you two meet?" Madelyn asked firstly, staring back at Sydney with a grin on her face.

Sydney replied almost instantly, remembering straight away how the two met. "I was out with Tank and I lost her for a second and I started freaking out and this boy just came up to me and offered to help me look for her. When he did, we just ended up just standing there talking. And he just asked me out." Sydney told her, a smile ghosting her lips. She'd been a little taken back when Rudy had asked her out, she'd just met the boy but he was cute and Sydney just thought why not. Turned out to be the best thing she ever did.

"Where was your first kiss?" Madelyn then asked, imagining it all in her head.

Sydney had to think a little more for that question. "First kiss? I think it was on our second date and it was outside my apartment building." She answered, thinking back to when Rudy kissed her after their second date. He'd taken her back to her apartment and Sydney was about to walk away from him after saying goodnight but he'd pulled her back and kissed her. He'd taken her by surprise but it was definitely a good surprise.

"Where did you go?"

"Out for dinner." Rudy had taken her out for dinner after he'd been working all day. He'd been tired and not in the best mood but it had been the only day Sydney was free that week and he didn't want to arrange it for a later date. Especially not after their first date, he was desperate to see her again so he just dealt with the exhaustion so he could take her out.

"What about the first date?"

"Lunch on the beach. It was really cute." Their first date had been Sydney's idea. She loved the beach and it also meant she could bring Tank with her, which Rudy didn't mind. As Sydney replied to Madelyn, she noticed a small pout on her lips. "Why are you pouting?"  Sydney laughed.

"Because I'm sad that you two aren't together anymore! You sounded so cute together." Madelyn said to her, pouting even more. Everything Sydney was telling her was making her heart swell. It was so cute and the smile on Sydney's face was even cuter.

"Maddie....." Sydney rolled her eyes at the blonde.

"But you're making it sound so cute. Why did you two have to break up?" Madelyn laughed, pushing Sydney playfully.

"I don't know." Sydney replied, the smile dropping from her face. She hated when people asked her that because she didn't have a valid reason. Them arguing and Rudy leaving wasn't good enough. He could've stayed, they could've worked it out but they didn't, because they were idiots.

Madelyn knew she shouldn't of asked the question that she did but she couldn't help herself. "Are you still in love with him?"

Sydney shook her head and Madelyn pouted even more. "It's been a year! I'm not still gonna be in love with him!" Sydney exclaimed, noticing the look on Madelyn's face. Why did everyone always expect her to still be in love with him?

"There would be nothing wrong with it if you was." Madelyn told her, grabbing Sydney's hand. "Sorry for the little interrogation. I hope I didn't upset you." She added.

Sydney shook her head and smiled. "Not at all! I don't mind talking about it, not with you." She admitted. It was actually nice for Sydney to tell Madelyn about her and Rudy a little, Sydney liked talking about him sometimes and remembering things they did. It made her happy thinking about the good memories she had with Rudy.

"What was it like? What was Rudy like?" Madelyn wasn't finished either. After knowing Sydney wasn't getting upset by all the questions, she wanted to know more.

Sydney didn't know how to start answering the question at first. "Hands down the best boyfriend I ever had. He was kind and considerate, funny, so so funny and he was always taking me out and doing things with me, he was always just trying to make me smile. He was a damn good boyfriend. He really was just like my best friend." Sydney replied, avoiding eye contact with Madelyn for a while as she spoke because she knew the exact look Madelyn would be giving her. And when she did finally look, she was right. "Don't look at me like that! You asked, I was just answering." Sydney exclaimed, laughing along with Madelyn.

"I didn't say anything! Just sounds like you were really in love with him." Madelyn told her, grinning from ear to ear.

"I was. I'm just not in love with him anymore." She said, hoping Madelyn believe her. Because she wasn't, she didn't think she'd been in love with Rudy for a long time. Madelyn noticed the sincerity in Sydney's voice so she had no choice but to believe her. She also decided to drop the conversation.

Madelyn pushed herself up on Sydney's bed and jumped off, heading towards the door "I'm gonna go order food for when everyone gets here in a minute to watch the new episode." She told Sydney.

"I'll be out in a second. Let me just change." Sydney sent Madelyn a smile before she was left alone with her thoughts of a blonde boy she couldn't seem to get away from.
