AFTER TWO FULL DAYS OF INTERVIEWS, THE CAST HAD BEEN INVITED TO THE PREMIERE OF NETFLIX'S NEW SHOW 'I AM NOT OKAY WITH THIS'. It was their first appearance anywhere as a cast, which would soon be their only one for a long time, and to say they were excited was an understatement. Even Austin and Drew had been invited so the cast had all been buzzing with excitement the whole day. And that excitement hadn't even died down once they had gotten back to the hotel they were all staying in that night so they all decided to head back to Madelyn and Sydney's room together.

All eight adults were sitting around the girls hotel room with drinks in their hands, laughing at Jonathan trying to do impressions of everyone. After Jonathan had attempted to do an impression of Austin, and failing, the group had decided to play a game of Never Have I Ever. A few of them were sceptical at first, were they not a little old to be playing a game like that? But none of them wanted to turn in for the night just yet and they had a lot more alcohol to drink. Plus Madelyn had convinced everyone that it was a good bonding experience, not that they needed it but they agreed anyway.

Chase had gone first, thinking of something that he'd never done before but to also catch some of his friends out. "Never have I ever joined the mile high club."

Sydney's cheeks had immediately heated up as she sat beside Madelyn on one of the beds in their hotel room. "Oh my God." The girl had mumbled, slowly bringing her glass up to her lips. Most of the others had been laughing at the fact that Austin had taken a drink so Sydney thought that no one would notice if she did but Madelyn had.

"Sydney!" Madelyn almost shouting Sydney's name had then gained everyone's attention, all lot of them whipping their heads around to see Sydney sipping on her drink.

Rudy then took this opportunity to take a sip of his own drink, as everyone's attention was on Sydney, but unluckily for him, someone had noticed. Rudy had been sitting on the end of the bed that Sydney and Madelyn were sitting on, so Madelyn had been facing him along with Sydney. Meaning she had a clear view of Rudy drinking too. "No fucking way." Madelyn had said, causing everyone to focus their attention on someone else.

Now, everyone was laughing. Laughing so hard that Madelyn had almost spilt her own drink all over herself and Sydney. "It's not funny!" Sydney had groaned, hiding her face behind her free hand. It was embarrassing enough admitting that she'd had sex on a plane, especially when she didn't even like flying, but to then have everyone find out it was with Rudy. Sydney wanted the ground to swallow her right there and then.

"When? Please give us details."

"We went to Paris together." Sydney had told Madison, who had asked the question. The girls cheeks had gone bright red and they'd all noticed.

"On the way to Paris?" Madelyn asked, raising her eyebrows at Sydney. The blonde girl nodded. "I want to scream so badly right now." Madelyn had then said, biting her lip to prevent herself from screaming or making any other noises.

"I think it was the way back actually." Sydney had quickly said before taking another sip of her drink. If the night was going to continue the way it was then she was going to need a lot more alcohol in her system.

The game had continued and there was a lot more laughter but Sydney had found herself glancing in Rudy's direction a lot more than she usually would while simultaneously blushing. Whether that was just because of the embarrassing confession she had made to their friends or another reason, Sydney was having a hard time figuring out. All she knew was that every time she looked at Rudy and he looked back, she had a weird familiar feeling in her stomach.

Each Never Have I Ever that was asked, the more intoxicated the group of friends got and the more they were laughing. At one point, Sydney was sure Madelyn was going to full off the bed at how much she was laughing. None of them wanted to night to end. But it had to and the only way to do that was for someone to finish their drink and loose the game. Which was why some of them had started trying to get others to finish their drinks before anyone else.

"Never have I ever had sex in my parents house." It had been Sydney's turn and she had spoken with a small smirk across her face, she knew exactly what she had been doing.

Rudy had looked at Sydney with his eyebrows raised. "Oh is that what we're doing now?" He asked her, laughing, before taking a sip of his drink. He knew she was trying to get him to finish his drink first.

"I don't know what you're talking about." Sydney replied, shrugging her shoulders innocently but the smirk was still on her lips.

"Of course all the boys drink." Madelyn had then commented, noticing how all the boys had taken mouthfuls of their drinks but none of the girls had.

Sydney's tactic had in fact worked, choosing to say things that would cause Rudy to keep taking sips of his drink till he was the first to finish. And that was everyone's cue to end the night, they were all drunk and all had to leave the hotel relatively early the next morning.

Madelyn and Sydney had then gotten ready for bed once everyone had left, stumbling around their hotel room and giggling at everything the other one did. Even when the lights had been turned off and the two were lying in bed, they were still giggling at each other.

After a while, it had gone quiet and Sydney had thought Madelyn had fallen asleep. But she hadn't. "I have a question for you." Madelyn's voice almost made Sydney jump.

"You're still awake?"

"Yes." The girl paused before asking her question. "So don't be mad at me for asking but you and Rudy, is that completely off the table?" Madelyn's question completely took Sydney off guard. She didn't know how to respond at all.

So she answered the question with another question. "What do you mean?"

"Like is there a chance that would ever happen again or not? Like would you two ever, because you've been very close this week. And flirty." Madelyn wasn't blind, she had seen how the two had been around each other all week. And she knew everyone else had seen it too. The flirting and the staring. The subtle physical contact. "Not that it means anything, I know that." But Madelyn also knew that she shouldn't look too much into it.

"No, I-I don't think so." Sydney stuttered out and she didn't sound convincing. She wasn't even convincing herself that she wouldn't ever go back there. "We had our turn and it didn't work out." She said with more confidence but Madelyn still wasn't convinced. But she wasn't going to push Sydney.

"Okay, I was just curious." Madelyn told her, thinking the conversation was over. But she had once last thing to ask Sydney. "But have you thought about it?"

"A few times, yeah." Sydney had thought about it more times than Madelyn would ever know.

i feel like i say this every authors note but i am so so sorry for not updating in like a month??? i think that's how long it has been
i've honestly had the worst month personally and had writers block so badly
i struggled writing this chapter so much just because i didn't know what to write??? like these last few chapters before getting to act two have been so hard to write lol but i feel like they're needed before just jumping into act two

but one more chapter (which is just a filler chapter so it should be up soon!) till act two!
and i promise things are 📈📈 from then
it's about time right

RIGHT SO because so many of you have said that you ship sydney and drew in this book and you wanted me to turn this into a drew fic, i have decided to finally write a drew fic that will be linked with this fic! i have it all planned out already! and it's going to be so cute. will be a lowkey enemies to lovers fic.
but it's going to be set while they're filming season two so i don't want to start it till i get that far with sydney and rudy's story

(i'm also thinking about making a second book to this because i have so much still planned for sydney and rudy that i don't think i want to write and fit into just one book. like i don't want to drag it on but when so many of you are still reading this then why not. and i still enjoy writing them so i don't want to stop)
