Untitled Part 2

I don't own Naruto.

Age 14

She made her way to the cave as she had done so many times before. She had come here every time she could in the past two years and she smiled as she thought about him. It excited her every time she saw the albino male, although he was always ready to throw hands every single time she called him that. She giggled behind her hand at the thought of this. She had noticed a change in her personality over time, but it could be attributed to the fact Hashirama was annoying at times and it could also be the fact that Tobirama playfully bullied her. She looked up at the hokage great stone faces and sighed.

What an odd scenario she had found herself in. She hadn't realized that the two she had been meeting with were the previous hokage until Tobirama had started donning the red markings on his face. That and the fact that Hashirama had started growing his hair out. She had gotten substantially stronger training with the two of them and she was grateful. She made her way to the cave and rushed inside. Tobirama was propped up on the boulder in the cavern and he threw both arms out in a manner that said, 'What took you so long.' She repressed the urge to roll her eyes and made her way over to him.

"I have things I have to do in my time, can't always come back here and ignore my duties." She mused and he chuckled as he dropped into a familiar stance atop the water. She made her way over to the surface and lunged for him, which he was easily able to avoid. She was always amazed by his speed and the grace in which he moved. One thing she had improved upon in her training wit him was her own speed. She ducked and leaned out of the way of his hits as well. He swept her foot out from under her and she flipped backwards, only to dive under the water to avoid his midair kick.

She crouched at the bottom of the lake and propelled herself straight up through the surface of the water at him. He rolled out of the way and she began making hand signs for the grand fireball jutsu. His eyes narrowed as he watched her hand signs, only for him to make one of his own as the large wisp of flame left her lips. She continued to fuel the flame, only for her to suddenly get doused with water. Her hair and clothes clung to her and she sighed as she shook herself off. His water style was much stronger than she was able to use, but her fire style was still substantial.

He was smirking at her from across the lake and she flushed red, the manner in which her clothes clung to her made her feel oddly exposed. She crossed her arms over her chest and made her way to the edge of the lake and sat down with a sigh. He pulled his black shirt off and offered it to her and she took it gently. She looked up at him to thank him and yet another blush crossed her cheeks she was not expecting him to not be wearing a fishnet shirt under the long sleeve shirt he had offered her. Most of the people she knew did just in case the normal shirt got ruined.

She forced her gaze away from him, but he smirked as he crouched in front of her. "Something wrong? Never seen a guy with no shirt on before?" he asked, pushing his luck with her as his fingers found her chin and tilted it up to where she was looking at him once more. Her face flushed darker as he leaned closer to her. Her heart was thumping in her throat and her eyes fluttered as everything was going dark the last thing she heard was his laughter. 'Why me?' Was all she could think before all light faded.

Tobirama received a whack to the head the moment Hinata hit the ground, her entire face red. Despite his pain he still smirked up at his older brother. He couldn't help it if she was easy to mess with. "What is wrong with you!" Hashirama snapped with an exasperated look. "Hey, I'm trying to get her out of the fainting thing. Didn't work this time." He mused and Hashirama sighed and flopped down beside the unconscious girl. He reached to pull her close to him and Tobirama whacked him on the head. "You don't touch her!" he snapped and Hashirama moped at him. "I was just trying to be nice..." he whined and Tobirama pulled Hinata towards him, tucking her into his side and sending his brother a dirty look.

"My friend, not yours." He grumbled and Hashirama started laughing at this. "Pretty sure with the way you constantly flirt with her you want her to be more than a friend." Hashirama chuckled and Tobirama shook his head. "No! what is wrong with you!" he snapped, but he cursed to himself as the slightest pink tint touched his cheeks. Hashirama grinned and began prodding his cheeks with a single finger on both sides. "This says different, little brother." Hashirama said with a grin and Tobirama hit him over the head once more.

"Shut up! Don't you understand she's just my friend!?" he seethed and his eyes went wide as her lavender eyes were peering up at him at this point. She removed herself from his side and he frowned at the loss of her touch. He didn't realize he would actually end up missing her touch. It seemed Hashirama noticed the look in his eyes and he urged Hinata to sit back down. "I got him all riled up, sorry Hinata." He said and she did sit back next to him, but a little further than before. He noticed her fingers were still planted on the ground and he bumped his fingertips closer to hers, watching to see if she would react when they touched.

He smiled inwardly when she didn't pull her hand away from his. He felt a change in his brother's chakra and he looked over to see he held a devious glimmer in his eyes. Tobirama shot him a look that screamed 'Don't you dare', but he did it anyways. "Tobi and Hinata sitting in a tree K-I-S-S-I-N-G!" Before Tobirama could lunge and get a hold of his brother, he was already sent flying across the room and hit the wall, leaving a crater. He looked over to watch as his brother seemed to deflate and peel off the wall and flutter to the floor like paper in the wind, all the while a horrified look coated his features. He blinked and looked over to see Hinata with a bright red blush on her cheeks, her fist still in the air from where she had hit him.

"Hinata-chan..." he started and she whirled on him but he held up both hands in surrender. Who the hell else had she been training with, that could have given her that inhuman strength? Amused feminine laughter echoed around them and he turned to see a tall blonde woman standing in the entrance to the cave. He swallowed deeply as the woman looked around the cave and sighed deeply. "Oh, I haven't been here in years..." she said and he just watched her.

"Hinata, Katsuyu told me I would find you here." She said and Hinata scrambled to her feet with a squeak of "Shishou!" The blonde woman patted him on the head in pure amusement. "Oh, if only I would have known, I would have teased him till his old ass dropped." She rumbled with amusement once more as she looked down on him, ruffling his hair. He scowled up at her, but a flash of her chakra washed over him and he knew the woman could crush him with a single finger if he tried to fight her right now. Something seemed to catch her eye and she strolled over to where Hashirama lay crumpled in the floor.

He looked over to Hinata, who shook her head rapidly in fear of the woman. He nodded and sat back against the rock. He watched as she hooked her pinky finger in the back of Hashirama's shirt and lifted him off the floor. He jumped to his feet and tried to rush over to her to help his brother, but that finger lifted and thumped him in the forehead. His eyes went wide as he felt the chakra from that one fingertip alone, pulse. He was sent flying backwards, but he managed to flip himself in midair and stumble to his feet when he hit the ground.

"Don't come at me, pipsqueak." She said and he glared a hole into her back. She tapped on Hashirama's forehead and he blinked at her, only to sputter and stammer as she dropped him unceremoniously on his rump. "They're so adorable as kids." She said with a humored look in her eyes. "S-shishou..." Hinata called and they all looked over at her. "Perhaps we should go?" she offered and the older woman sighed and put a hand on her hip. "Fine... fine... Always a stickler, just like Shizune. Ruining all the fun." the woman grumbled as she scooped Hinata up by the back of her shirt and carried her out of the cave.

The brothers exchanged looks for a moment just sitting in silence for a minute as they wondered what on earth had just happened. "Who the hell was that?" Tobirama asked and Hashirama shook his head rapidly. The two of them blinked at each other once more only for the same phrase to escape them.

"Her chakra said she's related to us!"

Hinata dodged yet another fist from the tall blonde woman, only for Sakura's fist to come down at her from behind. She flickered from view and flipped in midair to drop a kick on Sakura's back sending her into the ground making a crater. When she landed, she ran over and helped her pink haired friend out of the hole. "Are you ok?" she asked and Sakura nodded with a smile as she dusted herself off. Hinata nodded at her with a small smile as well. Tsunade crossed her arms over her chest and smiled at the two girls.

"You've done well, both of you." She said and the both of them smiled brightly up at her. "Sakura I need you to do some errands for me, you and Shizune." Tsunade said and the two of them nodded as she handed them a list. "Hinata come with me, I need to talk to you." Tsunade said and both Shizune and Sakura took off running. The both of them knew that is Tsunade wanted to talk to you it was usually trouble of some sort. Hinata followed after the older woman with fear in her eyes.

"You aren't in trouble, I just had to say it like that so they would go away." Tsunade mused and Hinata nodded softly. "When did you realize who those fools were?" she asked and Hinata blushed lightly. She knew this conversation would come up at some point, she just didn't think it would be months before it came about. "Only when Tobirama started wearing the markings and Hashirama grew out his hair." She whispered and Tsunade only smiled. "I see. Did you realize you were going to another place outside the limits of time?" she asked and Hinata nodded. "Yeah... I realized that when he couldn't leave with me..." she said softly and Tsunade looked over her curiously.

"You realize he can't ever come to this time with you, right?" she asked and Hinata's eyes hit the ground. Why did that have to be the case...? Why did she always like the ones she couldn't ever have? "You can interact all you want in there, but if you fall in love with him... you will eventually have to let him go." She said and Hinata bit her lip as tears stung at her eyes. A hand found its way to her head and she looked up at the woman who was giving her a saddened look.

"Love only ever leaves you alone... love only ever makes you hurt." She said and Hinata swallowed as she tried to get the tears to stop. She didn't love him, not that she knew of, but he was still a close friend and she didn't want to hurt the day she couldn't see him anymore. She knew that day would come, because the day he died in his time would be the last time she would ever get to see him. "Chin up, strong women don't cry." Tsunade said and offered a small smile.

"Is Hashirama always an idiot?" Tsunade asked and Hinata released a small laugh. "Yeah... he's like Naruto. Sometimes you would think that Tobirama were the older brother." Hinata said softly and laughter erupted from Tsunade. Hinata looked up at the woman and saw the faintest of tears in her eyes. Hinata knew she missed her grandfather, she could see it in her eyes. Hinata looked back down only for the older woman to ruffle her hair.

"Oh, that only gets worse over time." She said and Hinata blinked up at her. "He has a stick up his ass the older he gets, take a look at his stone face. Couldn't you tell?" Tsunade laughed and Hinata looked up to the stone faces once more and a small smile twitched up on her lips. He did look absolutely grumpy. "So, you have the privilege of being taught by three Senju, how do you feel about that?" she asked and Hinata blushed at her. "Two of them are actually teaching me," she began while muttering the last part under her breath, only for Tsunade to snort and shake her head.

"So, he is flirting?" she asked and Hinata shrugged lightly. She didn't know what to call it. "He offered me his shirt and made me faint. I have no idea if it's flirting or not." She mumbled and Tsunade smirked at her. "He was always flirting like an idiot, which is why he died alone. Idiot Tobirama." She mused and Hinata frowned up at her. She felt sorry for him, if they were to get together, he would still be alone for the rest of his life. She liked him, but she wasn't going to make him sit there and be alone forever.

She looked over at Tsunade who motioned for her to run along.

Age: 15

He watched as she waded through the water of the lake before them. She was just relaxing today, they both were. Hashirama was out doing who even knew what and wouldn't be here. She had been somewhat distant after the woman had come and taken her from the cave, but he could feel her strength radiating off of her. He had also noticed that she didn't stammer as much anymore, which was good. He made his way through the water to her and she turned to look at him partially.

"Something wrong?" she asked and he shook his head. "No, not at all." He said as he leaned to see what she was doing. Little fish chased her fingers around and he couldn't help the small smile that crossed his lips at this. He reached out to the fish as well, his chest touching her shoulder as he reached around her. He watched as she swallowed deeply, but she remained focused on the fish before her. He smirked softly as her eyes began shaking as she struggled to keep her focus. He pressed his chest firmly against her back, reaching around her with his other arm as well, only for his fingers to trace over the back of her arm gently.

He placed his hand over the back of hers and laced their fingers together. Why he enjoyed getting her all flustered he didn't know. He wanted to come out and say that he liked her, but he wasn't sure how. She had seen him through his best and his worst times to date. She had never once pushed him away when he touched her, so perhaps she liked him as well. His eyes slipped shut as he wrapped his other arm around her waist, feeling her tense up at this. She had been there every time he had come in, beaten and bruised from every fight. Tending to his wounds with the assistance of Katsuyu, although the slug rarely had to assist anymore.

She had seen him when he was crying, and when he was happy and yet she never judged him for a single tear he shed. He knew he would never get to see her outside of this place, but he wanted as much as he could get with her while she was here. Every day she came back was another day he had something to look forward to. He reopened his eyes upon feeling her move in his embrace. She was looking back at him over her shoulder now, confusion radiating off of her in waves. He released her and stepped away, apologizing for the contact. She only turned to watch him fully now, not saying a single word to him. After a moment of her just watching, she moved to go sit at the edge of the lake.

She began swinging her legs and her toes would peek out from the surface of the water. He made his way over to sit next to her, his fingertips brushing over hers once more. He watched from the corner of his eyes, wondering if she would reciprocate the touch once more. She did the first time, so he was curious as if she would now considering he had practically attached himself to her while she was in the water. He felt as if he had overstepped her boundaries and he regretted it. He didn't want her to become any more distant with him than she already was. He jolted slightly when her fingertips entwined with his, she actually moved a little closer as well.

She said nothing but a light pink tint coated her cheeks as well. He turned to face her and noticed she was watching him as well. He leaned closer to her, and her blush only darkened. Their noses touched and he moved to close that small space between them. He could feel her breath on his lips, but suddenly he was jerked backwards and was staring right up into the face of his older brother. He yelled out and punched his older brother on top of his head. He was so close, and yet had still been foiled by his brother's antics once more.

"What the hell are you even doing here!?" he snarled, continuing to knock his brother over the top of the head, albeit not as hard as the first hit was. He was currently grinding his knuckles into Hashirama's skull when he heard her laughter from behind him. He ignored his brother's crocodile tears, apologies, and gloomy aura only to look over and see Hinata laughing behind her hand. He blushed slightly and scratched the back of his neck. He had really gotten worked over the fact he had missed the opportunity to kiss her and that in itself startled him. His brother deserved it though, always being super annoying at all the wrong times.

She stood and made her way over to him and he scrambled to gather his words. His mind went blank the moment her lips touched his cheek and his mouth hung open slightly as she took off out of the cave with a wave behind her. Hashirama jumped to his feet with a grin at this. Hashirama pushed his mouth shut with a single finger and grinned at him with a devious glimmer in his eyes. He blinked in confusion as Hashirama rushed out of the cave.

"I'm telling Ma you like a girl!!" he yelled as he left the cave. Tobirama's eyes went wide and he chased after his older brother, scrambling to catch up to him. "Don't you dare!" he yelled as he sped to catch up with his older brother. Hashirama was laughing like a fool the entire way home. Tobirama was gaining on him and fast, which Hashirama seemed to notice as he made hand signs to send roots behind him. Tobirama flipped to avoid the roots, landing on top of them and running along them.

Hashirama still managed to get to the compound before him despite Tobirama's efforts. He heard his older brother's laughter echoing through the halls as they ran through their home. Hashirama burst through the door of his mother's room and began talking animatedly to her. She smiled down at her eldest, but once her gaze landed on him it seemed to harden slightly. He knew his mother hated him, his father did as well. As much as he loved his older brother, he seemed oblivious to the fact their parents favored him and Itama over him. He had no idea what he had ever done wrong, as he did his absolute best to be the best he could for them.

They still never loved him though... which is why he supposed he was always so excited to see Hinata, she cared about him and treated him better than most did. He looked back to his older brother, who had seemed to notice the change in mood in the room. It seemed maybe his brother did notice now... he bowed politely and made his way out of the room before his mother began yelling at him, or worse his father caught sight of him once more. He made his way to his room and curled up in his bed. Why did his parents hate him so much?

He bit his lip as the tears burned at his eyes. He couldn't wait until he could see her again. She was the best part of every day in this hell. That was what this life was to him, hell in all shapes and forms. All he ever wanted... all he ever needed... was for someone in this world to love him. Sure, he knew his brothers loved him... but it was a different kind of love he craved... Sure he wanted more than anything for his parents to love him like they loved his brothers... but...

He wanted someone not related to him to love him.
