"Carter you dumbass!" I laugh, trying to steady my breathing.

"I'm sorry!" Carter laughs.

He ran across the road to grab a paper that flew out of his pocket. A car stopped in front of him and the loud horn was for Carter. The person driving opened their window and began yelling at him. I was scared for him at first until I realized he was safe and Mia's laughing was contagious.

"Im I a bad person for wanting to keep the Earth clean?" Carter asks, shoving the paper back in his pocket.

"No, but you are for not looking on both sides first!" Elijah laughs.

Elijah has been mire laid back lately. No books, no relying on logic to tell him how to live his life, and definitely no more Abel. When Carter found out, he went ape shit on him. Well, wanted to. Mia and I held him back because, y'know, he could get expelled. But Abel ended up getting expelled and arrested once we had shown the bruises on Elijah.

There had been no worries lately. It was the last year of college. The year was close to being over, just one more month. Mia, Carter, and Elijah had already graduated last year but they came to visit frequently. I introduced them to my new roommate, Judah. She had long, wavy black hair with blond highlights and a very girly personality.

Mia and Carter ended up together during their last year of college. They even bought a house together. Just a couple weeks ago. They were honestly pretty adorable. Carter lives in another state though she she ended up moving into his home state. I don't see them much but Mia calls me everyday. Most days its just Judah, Elijah, his boyfriend, and me.

Elijah found a pretty sweet boyfriend too, just last week. His name is Cody, he has short, blond hair with bright green eyes and a high interest in Elijah. I've met him a few times before they were together and he was honestly adorable. He was so awkward and nervous around us when he first met us. Now they're dating and they couldn't be cuter. They're not really out to the public yet, though. They're both pretty nervous how people around us will react but Carter, Mia, Judah, and I all encourage them to do what they want. Nobody should be scared to walk down the street holding the hand of the person they love.

(Seriously, I would rant on for days about that if I could. But this isn't a rant thingy, its an X Reader so ON WITH THE STORY)

Jack and I were still together. Its been a few years now. I've seen him a couple times over break but not that much. He doesn't come home for every break, but I don't blame him. Plane tickets are expensive. I can't wait to get away from this place so I can go live at home again and see all my old friends more.

Ashley didn't bother me since the incident with Jack. Every time she saw me, she acted like she didn't want to be seen. She moved on to another poor girl that lives in the dorm next to Judah and me. We became friends with her but shes never met Elijah, Carter, or Mia. She wasn't that close with us.

"Judah! You almost did the same thing last month!" I laugh.

"We do not speak of that!" Judah laughs along.

"I swear, what am I gonna do with you?" Mis asks, kissing Carter on the cheek.

"I know what you could do" Carter smirks and lifts his eyebrows.

Mia rolls her eyes, slapping his shoulder. He soon breaks out into laughter, grinning like an idiot. He wraps an arm around Mia's waist and pulls him down on his lap from the seat on the picnic table we're sitting on. She yelps in surprise but laughs as soon as Carter begins tickling her. Cody comes up from behind him and wraps his arms around Elijah's shoulders, resting his head on Elijah's shoulder. The mist contact they have made in public.

Judah and I begin smiling at the two couples. Judah frowns soon after then jokingly yells.

"I'm so lonely!" Judah fake cries.

I join her "We can be lonely together!"

"Get off of me, you have a boyfriend" Judah shrugs me off of her.

"I never see him though" I shrug.

She smiles "Fair enough"

"Wait!" Judah yells suddenly, looking at me "But you get to see him when you graduate next month! And you call him all the time!"

"Yeah, yeah" I roll my eyes playfully.

"Remember that time when I was a great friend and brought him down here for you?" Mia smiles.

"That was amazing. Its because of you we're together, y'know" I say.

"It is?" Mia asks, surprised "I mean, it is!" She says, more sure if herself. I roll my eyes with a grin.

"Wait, wait, wait!" Carter interjects "I helped too!"

"How did you help?" I ask with a raised eyebrow.

"I encouraged you to call Jack after you broke up with him when you were scared of him becoming abusive" Carter reminds me.

"Oh yeah! I forgot about that!" I smile "So then, its because of you two that we're together" I correct myself.

"You're damn right it is" Carter smiles.

"Are you excited to finally go home, and not having a limited time to spend with Jack. Well, other than the limited time we have left alive" Elijah asks.

"Definitely!" I nod with a huge grin "But what was that last part about? You okay there Elijah?" I giggle.

"I'm not, though!" Judah speaks "I don't want you to leave. I'll be alone!"

"You'll be fine!" I smile down at her "I'll call you everyday, you'll still have Elijah and Cody, your new roommate, and Sarah(Sarah Urie😏)that girl next door"

"What if my roommate is a total bitch?"

"Oh, I had the same question then I got Mia. Shes not a total bitch, just a bitch" I joke.

"Hey!" Mia laughs

"You have nothing to worry about. You'll be fine" Carter smiles to Judah.

"Yeah, if you don't like your roommate, ask to switch with someone else who doesn't like their roommate either" Cody says "Thats what I did anyway"

"Seriously?" Elijah asks, eyebrows raised. Cody nods.

"I hope you guys are right"

"If you don't like her, ignore her" Mia speaks "Or annoy her and be a bitch back"

"I don't suggest that last one" I shake my head.

"I do!" Carter laughs.

I'm really going to miss these people.
