Sunday, October 27th, 1985. 11.45am

Scott straightens up and sits back with Suzy, when there is another jolt and the plane cuts out again.

DOC

I was afraid this would happen. The force of the temporal displacement has forced the cable apart again. We're not too far from the ground. I think I can land it now, hold tight.

The DeLorean/bi-plane takes a dive, but Doc manages to level it off. He skims over a roof of one of the new houses being built at Hilldale and with a bump lands it in the field across the road.

Along Hilldale Road. Marty and Jennifer are driving along in Marty's 4-by-4.

JENNIFER

Marty, did you see that?

MARTY

See what?

JENNIFER

I heard a loud bang, and what looked like a plane came down over there.

MARTY

I didn't hear a crash. I would imagine whoever it was is okay.

JENNIFER

I suppose.

MARTY

What were you telling me Jen?

The 4-by-4 pulls up at the traffic lights.

JENNIFER

Marty, that dream I had is so real. It was about the future. It was about us...and you got fired.

Marty acts surprised.

MARTY

Wait a minute, what do you mean I got fired?

Marty looks out the window and sees he's next to the Hilldale housing estate.

MARTY

Hilldale. Hilldale! This is where we live!

In the field next to Hilldale. Scott and Suzy run to the traffic lights. Scott is carrying his backpack. Doc makes his way in his own time. Needles and his gang pull up in his truck next to Marty and Jennifer. Huey Lewis's Power of Love can be heard playing out of Needles's truck.

SCOTT

What'll we do?

SUZY

I think we're too late.

Doc catches up with Scott and Suzy. The two trucks rev their engines.

DOC

You've got to let it happen. If not, you would never have gone back to 1925 in the first place and consequently here.

SCOTT

How are we gonna get to the future now. The plane is a write-off!

The conversation is interrupted when the traffic lights change to green. Needles shoots forward and Marty back. They see the DeLorean come into view, flash as to travel through time and hit the 4-by-4. The DeLorean vanishes leaving two trails of fire down the road and the 4-by-4 is thrown into a roll over the side of the road. Further down the road, Needles truck swerves a Rolls Royce and speeds off into the distance. The Rolls Royce heads along and pulls up to see what's going on. Scott comes all over all faint and sinks to the floor.

SUZY

What's going on?

DOC

Great Scott. He's arrived back at the moment of the accident. If things stay the same he will most probably be erased from history. If something isn't done soon, we could have a major paradox.

SUZY

A what?

DOC

No time to explain. Don't go away; I'll be back before you can say Outatime!

Doc hurries off as fast as he can.

SUZY

Where are you going?

DOC

I've got a train to catch at Eastwood Ravine crossing.

SUZY

Doc, what shall I do?

DOC

Watch over Scott. I'll be back before you know it.

Suzy kneels down and cradles Scott in her arms. He is drifting in and out of consciousness. The driver of the Rolls Royce gets out of the car. The driver is a middle-aged man wearing a smart suit, and dark glasses. He looks at the wreck of Marty's 4-by-4 at the side of the road. He crosses the road and sees Suzy with Scott. Suzy doesn't notice the man pick up Scott's backpack and goes back to his car. The driver throws the backpack in the Rolls Royce, then turns to look at Suzy. He takes off his glasses. It's Biff Tannen! Biff mutters to himself.

BIFF

Buttheads.

Suzy turns, gasps as she recognizes him, but is grateful when he gets back in the Rolls Royce and drives off.

At the Eastwood Ravine crossing. Doc arrives to see the wreck of the DeLorean from the end of Back to the Future Part III. He picks up the license plate and looks at it. Suddenly the rail crossing bells start ringing and the barrier lowers.

DOC

Right on schedule!

Doc moves back from the track quickly and three sonic booms sound. A shiny train, with "ELB" written on the side, appears out of nowhere and brakes to a halt. Out of the cab window, A younger Doc Brown pops his head out. He is wearing a tuxedo-ish outfit with a top hat, his hair combed.

Doc!

Doc?

OLDER DOC

I need your help...

At the Hilldale traffic lights, Suzy is still with Scott. Three sonic-booms sound in stereo.

Suzy looks up to see the DeLorean restored to its former glory flying down to the road. Behind the DeLorean sees the bi-plane all fixed and modified up into a time machine. They both land on the road. Near to the 4-by-4.

A man steps out of the DeLorean. He looks like a younger version of Doc in futuristic clothes and long white hair. Suzy realizes it's not him though. The man looks round and raises a hand to greet Suzy. He takes a bag out of the DeLorean and carries it over to the 4-by-4.

Doc climbs out of the bi-plane and calls over to Suzy.

DOC

Suzy, everything is going to be okay. Just hold on.

Suzy bursts into tears

SUZY

Scott needs help. I think he's dying. Can you do something?

DOC

Hold on, we've got to sort Marty and Jennifer out.

SUZY

Who are you with?

DOC

This is my son, Jules!

Suzy looks over to 41-year-old Jules Brown, who's managed to get Marty and Jennifer out of the 4-by-4 using a strange device, which makes them hover.

DOC

Don't worry Suzy; he knows what he's doing. He's a doctor. They're in perfect suspended animation. It won't hurt them a bit.

Jules has managed to get Marty and Jennifer into the DeLorean. He calls over.

JULES

I'll see you in two ticks Dad, don't go away!

Jules looks at Suzy.

JULES

Hey there, sorry I can't stop to chat, but there's no time to lose.

Suzy smiles.

Jules winks and gets into the DeLorean. It takes off and disappears with two streaks of fire in the sky when it hits 88 miles-per-hour.

SUZY

What about Scott, he needs help too. Look at him!

Scott appears to be fading fast. Suzy can see her arms through him.

DOC

Everything will be fine, you'll see.

Three sonic booms sound in the sky yet again. It's the DeLorean all again.

Scott suddenly jumps up and he's fine.

SUZY

Scott!

SCOTT

What happened?

Suzy flings her arms around him.

SUZY

You're all better! I thought you were a gonner then.

Suzy loosens her hug, and looks into Scott's eyes. He looks back. They linger for a second, come to their senses and step away from each other. Doc smiles at them.

They look over to the DeLorean to see Jules using the hover device to put Marty and Jennifer back into the 4-by-4 as he found them.

SCOTT

What's going on?

DOC

Your parents will be okay now. Jules took them to 2125, where medicine is far more advanced. They're as good as new. They'll probably live a bit longer too now, like me!

Your Dad's hand will be fixed up perfectly, so he'll become the rock-star he dreamed of. You my boy will be born as you were before. It just proved that it's all okay by the way you jumped up then.

SUZY

So that's it then, all done. Can we go back to the future now then?

DOC

Yes it's all over. Just be careful on your way back. Just put the car back where you found it and go home. I'm getting too old for all these adventures.

Jules comes over after he's finished with Marty and Jennifer.

JULES

There, it's all done. They won't remember anything about 2125. The last thing they'll remember is driving up to the traffic lights. I've put the present we gave them in Marty's poncho along with a letter explaining what happened, along with some money to fix up the truck.

DOC

That should set the timeline straight. Come on you two, off you go before you cause any more problems.

JULES

Aren't you going to introduce me Dad?

DOC

Okay but we shouldn't hang around. People might see us. Jules, this is Suzy Lee, who you've already briefly met and Scott McFly. Scott this is Jules Brown.

SCOTT / SUZY / JULES

Hi.

Doc gets impatient.

DOC

Now if you don't mind.

SCOTT

See ya Jules, nice to have met you. It would've been nice to have got to know you.

JULES

Another time perhaps?

Doc looks at his son as if he's planning to rip a hole in the space-time continuum.

SCOTT

See you later Doc. Thanks for everything.

Scott has a last look at his parents asleep in the battered 4-by-4 before climbing into the time machine.

Suzy hugs Doc and gives him a kiss on the cheek.

SUZY

Goodbye Doc.

Doc smiles as Suzy climbs into the DeLorean with Scott.

DOC

And remember, straight back.

Doc punches in the date and time of destination. Wednesday, October 21st 2015, 5.00pm.

SCOTT

Thanks for everything. See ya Jules.

Scott and Suzy wave goodbye.

SUZY

Goodbye!

Take care; it's been nice meeting up with you.

Scott closes the DeLorean's gull wing door. He starts the engine and takes off. Doc and Jules wave goodbye. The DeLorean sweeps up over the sky and over the fields towards the centre of Hill Valley. It hits 88 miles-per-hour and lights up and sounds the three sonic booms.
