Candy: you don't have a date, do you.

Dipper: *sigh* no. I just told Mabel that so she wouldn't bother me about it.

Candy: Why do you even try? What will Mabel do to you if you don't get a date? Why don't you just stay home? Like what I'm doing. I'm staying home in friday.

Dipper: no date, huh?

Candy: no.

Dipper: I don't understand why dates matter so much.

Candy: me neither. we should be able to go to dance with friends not just dates. It isn't fair for those who don't even have a shot.
