Nat groaned as she twisted in the bed. The sun was high in the sky and she was finally awake enough to feel restless. Her ankle felt an fire hot rod has been placed against it but she is refusing to take any more meds that will knock her out again. Hearing fast steps she turns to find Jax rushing to her. 

"What's wrong Natalia?"

She huffs seeing such worry and concern in his eyes. They woke about an hour ago and he had to help carry her to the restroom. Every step she took gave her a sharp almost unbearable pain shoot up her leg. She feels helpless which not something she is used to. Covering her face with her hands, she feels her frustration overwhelming her. Soft warm hands rub her arms making her drag her arms down. 

"I can't keep laying here Jax." She says with a sigh. The irritation of her current predicament evident in her voice. 

Jackson can see she hates this. He wraps one arm under her knees and the other behind her back picking her up and slowly walking her out of the room to not jostle her. She wraps her arms around his neck laying her head down on his shoulder. His lips brushing the top of her head as he continues to cautiously carry her down the stairs. 

"What the?"

They both look up to find Keith walking in the front door along with Julio. Jackson ignores them as he turns taking her to the couch in the living room before setting her down slowly. Both the other men coming into the room but Keith had something in his hand that made Nat almost cry in joy. 

Keith brought a crutch over setting it beside Talia when her eyes began to water. All three men quick to go to her but she held up her palm signaling them to halt. They stopped dead in their tracks and watched as she maneuvered the crutch to go under her arm. After a minute of adjusting she began to try standing. Jackson was quick to catch her as she stumbled back onto the couch. Gritting her teeth, she tried again with success this time. She stood for a moment to see how much pain she felt. It was still there but much more manageable. She gave her brother a smile in relief which he smirked in return understanding her. 

She began hobbling towards where she could here a guitar being played. Jackson trying to walk with her but she shook her head letting him know that she wanted to do this on her own. He nodded and let her leave. His eyes following her feet to make sure she was doing okay. He didn't even realize the two men were watching the interaction. 

"Julio, I'll meet you outside."

Jackson turned around as Julio walked around him while his eyes were locked with Keith's. Keith took a seat on a chair and Jackson took a seat back on the couch. Both were silent for a moment. Jackson was watching him as his jaw ticked like he wanted to say something but was trying to bite his tongue. He finally sighed running his hand through his hair looking to the ground. 

"I want you to know that I have no problem with you." He paused looking to Jackson who still sat there silently so he continued. "You have been nothing but respectful towards Nat. I just need to know.."

His voice trailing off not sure how to ask. Jackson furrowed his brows, "Need to know what?"

"What are your intentions?"

Jackson understood as his brows loosened and he thought of his question for a moment. Leaning forward onto his knees he locked his fingers together looking directly at Keith. 

"When I met your sister, I couldn't get over how different she was. She was a damn breath of fresh air compared to the woman in California. She is remarkable and stunning-"

"Careful" Keith warns lowly.

"The more I got to know her, the more I realized how much I want her in my life."

"So you plan on staying for the long haul?"

"Yes." He didn't hesitate in his answer. "When you told me she was hurt, I can't explain how..."

Keith could see his muscles tense not being able to explain his feelings but they were written in his body language as clear as day. He leaned back in the chair slouching, "You plan on moving here?"

Jackson's head snapped up at the question. He didn't even think about that. Keith narrowed his eyes at him. 

"Do you plan on trying to uproot her? To take her away from her home, and her job?"

"Of course not!" Jackson said offensively. "Her heart is here."

"Then that means if you want to make what ever this is work with my sister that you will be the one making the change."

Keith stood up letting his words soak in as he left Jackson on the couch. Keith glanced out back to find the girls sitting beside each other while talking. He put back on his cowboy hat and walked out. 

Jackson sat back for a moment thinking about his life and Natalia. His job, his house, and the remaining of his family lived in California. He had know clue how to make this work, he just knew he had to. He wasn't willing to give up Natalia. Leaving his thoughts for later, he got up walking towards the back porch. 

He walked out to find Cassie singing her knew song while his dark hair beauty just listens bobbing her head along. He went and sat down beside her wrapping his arm around her shoulder. Her body instantly curling towards him. Kissing her head, he relished in how she felt and let it sooth his racing mind. 

Cassie smiled watching as Nat closed her eyes in bliss leaning against Jackson. She was happy for her best friend. She can't remember ever seeing Nat this comfortable with a man before. She finished the song making Nat open her eyes with a wide smile. 

"Cass, that is such a good song."

"Thanks Nat" 

Nat cleared her throat sitting up some. Her foot beginning to ache again. Jackson is quick to turn her so her leg can rest across his lap. Nat blushes at his action while Cass just laughs gently shaking her head before setting her guitar down.

"Now" Nat says clearing her throat as she turns her attention to Cass. "We have matters to discuss."

"You mean the fact that you can't take care of yourself" Nat narrows her eyes at her best friend. Cass raises her hands in surrender with a grin. 

"I was thinking about more like you staying here"

"Oh?" Cass says raising a brow. "Are you getting tired of me already?"

"No but I do think you need your own space."

Cass furrows her brows looking to Jackson for help but he looks just as confused. "Nat, what do you-"

"I want you to stay here... permanently Cass."

Cass' eyes widen at her statement not expecting that. Nat waits patiently for it to soak in. "And Keith agrees with me."

Cass can't help but feel her cheeks warm as she bites her lip looking down to hide the smile threatening to overtake her face. She looks back up at her friend to see the most sincere smile. "Nat, what about my house? I don't even know if my label would let me."

Nat reached over taking her hand into her own, "Cass, do you want to stay?"

Cass bit her lip again and nodded, "Yes, your my family."

"Then will figure it out."

Jackson leaned forward kissing Nat's cheek making her blush again but turn to him. His eyes locked with hers as he says, "we will figure it out."

She felt like he had a double meaning to his statement. She turned back to her best friend who had glossy eyes but a bright smile on her face. "Wait! Is that what all those construction workers were doing?"

Nat nodded, "Yea, I had plan on making a second home for you. If you didn't take it then either Keith or I would have taken it."

Cass grinned before leaning forward hugging her best friend and landing a loud kiss to her cheek making Nat's eyes go wide. Jackson sat back laughing at her expression. Cass jumped up racing off to God knows where leaving the couple chuckling at her. Once she is out of sight, their laughter dies down. Jackson turns his eyes back to the chocolate orbs that are so rich. Nat bites her lips directing his attention to it. Without thinking, he cups her neck yanking her lips to his. Nat doesn't waste time kissing him back just as much. His other arm coming to wrap around her back pulling her more onto his lap as they continue kissing. 

Nat moves her butt when her eyes go wide and her body goes stiff feeling his prominent 'friend' wide awake. Jackson chuckles at her reaction, "Can't help it..."

Nat feels heat race up her neck making him grin before pecking her lips again. She loosens her muscles leaning into him again forgetting about the hard rod laying under her butt. Her fingers finding their way into his hair. His groan turning her on even more. The sound making her insides go haywire. She unconsciously began rotating her hips which stopped abruptly when Jackson gripped her hip breaking the kiss. 

"You're killing me love"

Nat's eyes widening just now realizing what she was doing. Jackson rotates Nat to adjust her but a hiss from her lips makes him look to her ankle that brushed up against the bench. He cursed under his breath before gently lifting her leg to move it comfortably. Nat watched as he focused on her leg, the action making her insides melt. 

"Jax, will you go out with me?"

He turns to her with a raised brow a small smirk. "What did you have in mind?"

"Is that a yes?"

He chuckles and nods, "of course it is."

"Let me worry about the details, you be ready for me tonight around 7?"

"Sounds good"

Nat leans forward wrapping her arms around his neck connecting their lips again. Jackson curses lowly as he lays back allowing her to take control now straddling him. His hands finding their way to her backside cupping her through her sweats before gently squeezing the delectable orbs. Nat sighs against his lips enjoying the attention. Their moment is short lived hearing a loud neigh that makes Nat pull back. She knows that sound anywhere. 

"Jax, can you carry me to the stables?"

He nods as he stands with her already wrapped around his torso. His hands moving to hold the back of her thighs as he walks her to the stables, the sound of a horse kicking can be heard. They arrive to find a few stable hands trying to calm down a bucking black stallion. 

Natalia whistles and instantly the horse jerks its head in her direction stopping his movements. The stable hands turning to find their mistress holding onto the newcomer. Jackson slowly walks her over to the enclosed stall. Shadow walking over to the side hanging his long head out over so he may sniff his owner. Her giggles and smiles making the horse swish his tail back and forth like a dog. The hands sighing in relief as they step away. Miguel coming to the couple. 

"It's good to see you up Ms."

"Hi Miguel"

The young man takes off his hat as a sign of respect bowing slightly. Jackson's grip on her tightens making her giggle lowly. She doesn't comment and rotates her body back to the horse is still enjoying her rub on his head. 

"Shadow has been a little.."

"Untamed" Nat says with a grin. She is aware that the horse listens to no one but her. The dark horse snickers making her smile widely as she ruffles his hair. 

"Is he a wild stallion?" Jackson says looking closely at the horse. Natalia nods still petting the creature. 

"Be a good boy" She says lowly leaning forward still in Jax's arms to kiss the horse. He does a jerk of his head before retreating back into his stall no longer kicking or neighing. Natalia smiles at her boy. 

Jackson steps back and realizes the young boy is staring at them. He raises an eyebrow and finally the boy looks to him before clearing his throat and turns to walk away. A light slap to his chest makes him look to his beauty who gives him a knowing look. He leans forward pecking her lips before taking her out of the barn and walking her back to the house. He takes her to the front porch sitting her down on the swing as they both just look out to the land. 

"Natalia, I want you to know that I'm all in on this"

Nat turns to look at him but he is still looking forward. She rest her head on his shoulder looking back at the view as well. 

"Me too Jax... me too."
