Jax checked his phone one last time before tucking it securely in his back pocket. His eyes looking out the window of the ranch home. The sun is beginning to lower behind the vast hills. The colors of pink and orange painting the evening sky. He takes a deep inhale embracing the vast scenery. It truly is not what he was brought up around however it held it's own beauty. He could definitely see why Natalia loved it so much. 

Hearing foot steps come near him, he looks up to find Talia's brother, Keith. He is wearing a pair of blue jeans and a button down flannel. A black cowboy hat sitting up his head while his boots match. He gives him a nod of acknowledgement before coming to stand beside him. Both men looking out while they let their minds wander. 

"Find anything good out there boys?"

Both turn around at Natalia's voice. Jax can feel his eyes slowly following the length of her body. He bit his lip in appreciation. She was wearing a pair of fitted blue jeans with some boots. Her white top was framing her breast showing a bit of her tan toned stomach. It fell of the shoulders allowing a perfect view of her evenly sun touched skin. Her hair was down and flowing around her. His feet taking him to her on instinct. Her eyes looking into his own. He leans down giving a gentle lingering kiss to her cheek. Nat could feel the blush rise to her cheeks as she smiled at his affection. 

"You look beautiful Natalia.."

His words were soft enough for only her ears making her blush deepen. She whispered back a small thank you while turning behind her. Cass stepping out behind her wearing a black pair of jeans and tank top with a red flannel that was tied rather than being buttoned. She had a pair of black boots and a matching red bandana wrapped around her neck. Nat smirked back at her friend as she stepped forwards with her confidence. Her hair perfectly straight and this time, it was Keith's turn to step forward. 

Cass could feel her eyes assessing the cowboy practically drooling at the sight. He was a fine man... No doubt about that. But the look in his eyes made her blood pulse. His eyes were darkening as they ran up her legs to her torso before finally meeting her gaze. He reached her holding out his arm. She interlaced hers with his as Nat faked a gagging sound. Keith just turned and smirked at his sister while leading them out the door. 

Keith took Cassie to a red pick up similar to Nat's. Cass looked back to see her best friend wink at her while Jax led her to his car. She pouted for a moment but a quick peck of her lips made her smile shyly and comply. Jax climbed into the driver seat before reaching over to put his hand on Natalia's thigh. Nat felt her body heat at the contact and her hand wrapped around his arm while his thumb made small strokes on her jean pant leg. 

"You ready for a southern bar Jax?"

Jax turned to her with a smirk. Nat leaned over the console and kissed his cheek. Jax smiled chuckling while pulling out to follow the red pick up. Cassie turned back in her passenger seat to find her best friend kissing her agent's cheek. She melted at the sight. Her best friend was never one to really show affection to anyone... herself included. 

"Guess I need to get used to it?"

Cassie whipped her head to Keith who was adjusting the rearview mirror clearly seeing what she just saw. Cassie glanced back once more to find smiles on both their faces before turning around fully. 

"She seems happy"

Keith silently agreed nodding his head. His sister has never been a love sick girl before. It was cringe worthy to see her doing it now. Other than himself and their dad, the only other male that was currently around was his best friend, Julio. At one point he thought his best friend had a crush on him but it was clear Talia never saw him that way. He eventually met his wife Naomi and the rest is history. A soft touch of a hand to his forearm snapped him out of his thoughts. 

"You alright?"

His eyes going over to the pop princess. Keith won't admit it but he was stunned to find out that his sister never lied all those years ago. How the hell his sister came to be close to a famous celebrity was beyond him. He knew of Cassie's music, it wasn't bad but it wasn't exactly good either. Her music didn't have much depth. However the song he heard earlier... it was different. It was her. He wasn't blind, she was beautiful but he was happy to find she wasn't just all beauty but had personality as well. She didn't push him to talk about his past when he took her to his place. He was happy she understood without words. 

"All good princess"

Once again the faint blush making its way to her cheeks making him smirk. His eyes turning back to the big red neon sign in front of him. he slowed pulling into a parking spot up front as the Audi pulled into a spot beside him. He saw Natalia laughing along with Mr. City. He was glad his sister was happy but still was worried about what would happen when this all came to an end. Turning of the truck he hopped out of the truck. Hearing the creaking of his passenger door, he quickly walked around to help the blushing princess out. Her cheeks still inflamed as she gave him a small thank you. 

Nat watched as her brother raced to help her best friend. She huffed while Jax just chuckled. She turned her head towards him to see his eyes glistening in amusement at her. He leaned over the console and she met him to give him a small lingering kiss. 

"Be nice"

Her jaw slacked as he turned climbing out of the car laughing at her reaction. She clamped her mouth shut before climbing out as well. He walked around to her with a huge smile. His arm coming up to wrap around her bare shoulders while her arm went around his waist. 

"What's so funny?"

Nat turned to find Cass linked arm and arm to Keith. She turned back to find a grin on Jax's lips. She pinched his side making him wince making her internally smile before turning back to Cass. 

"Nothing"

Cass raised a brow along with Keith not believe her but dropping it regardless. Keith led her in first while Nat turned to sucker punch Jax's shoulder making him playfully pout and hold his shoulder. The sight making Nat giggle before walking towards the entrance. A warm touch to her lower back that slowly snaked around to her hip bone made her heart move at a faster rate. Hearing the music coming from inside made her smile widely. The doors opening showing the familiar scene. 

The bar floor empty with just the lights dancing on the wooden floor. The bar at the front while bar stools and tables littered the surrounding area. Music blaring through the speakers in the rafters. It was currently closed tonight for just close friends. Only a few people walking around or hanging at the bar rail. 

"Ah there they are!"

The familiar deep baritone voice clearly heard over the music. Cass' grip on Keith's arm making him realize she was nervous. He remembered Nat saying she didn't want people to know where she was at. He rubbed her hand that was clinging to his arm in reassurance while his sister ran pass them to jump in his best friend's arms. Julio's laughter ringing through the room at her antics before gently putting her back down. 

Julio looked down at his little sister, she definitely was not little anymore. He looked behind her to find a man quickly making his way over to them. His fist clenched at his sides while his narrowed eyes glared at his hands still on Talia's waist. He raised a brow and watched how the unfamiliar man walked over before putting his hand on the small of Nat's back. Julio's eyes widen in surprise while Talia turned to the man with a smile. 

"Jax, this is Julio Torres. Julio, this is Jackson Fillmore."

Julio reached out to shake the man's hand. Still wondering about how this came about but keeping his questions at bay... for now. Jackson reached out to shake his hand more firm than he usually would. The action not going unnoticed by Julio who smirked at the man. 

"Nice to meet you Jackson. I'm Keith's best friend and Nat's second brother."

Jackson's shoulders visibly relaxed slightly making Julio chuckle. His eyes then going to the second pair walking up to them. His eyes widening again. 

"Santa Mierda" (Holy shit)

A slap to his chest makes him look down at Nat for a second. "Language"

Julio rubs his chest while looking back up at Cassie Lyndel who was currently on Keith's arm. Julio's eyes going to his best friend who couldn't help but smile before turning back to the singer. Her eyes showing she was nervous. He reached out his hand to her. 

"It's nice to meet you, my name is Julio Torres. Welcome to my bar"

"Excuse me!?"

All heads snap to the dark beauty walking around the bar. Nat squealed again while opening her arms to Naomi. Naomi laughed while walking into her awaiting arms before glaring down her husband. He gave a sheepish smile to her before gulping and turning back to the Cassie and Keith. 

"My apologies, our bar."

"Much better"

Naomi patted his back while walking up and hugging Cassie making her eyes go wide. She pulled back looking Cassie over. Cassie looked down and saw a genuine smile. 

"You are quite the beauty... How did you end up with this brute?"

Cassie laughed while Keith rolled his eyes. He walked over kissing Naomi's head before doing a brotherly hug with Julio. The two men walking towards the bar. Cass looked to find Nat walking over to the bar with Jax. Her eyes going back to the woman in front of her. 

"I've heard a lot about you... Cass"

Cassie smirked realizing Nat talked about her. "It's nice to meet you too. Please call me Cassie"

"Names Naomi, and don't worry... I know only Talia calls you Cass."

Naomi turns and begins walking back to the bar. Cassie falls into step with her. "Your bar is beautiful Naomi."

"Thanks Cassie" She walks around the bar beginning to grab drinks. Cassie standing next to Nat who slings an arm around her shoulders. "Tonight we celebrate!"

"What are we celebrating?" Cassie says looking amongst everyone. 

"Well it is the end of the harvest!" Julio says as the rest of the family cheer. Cass turns to find a bunch of people have come in but most have familiar faces. Then she realizes they are all from the ranch. She turns back to the bar as Naomi passes a drink giving her a playful wink. Cassie takes the drink getting a sip while a tall figure comes up behind her. Her eyes sneaking back to find Keith standing directly behind her. 

Julio lowers his hands looking around at everyone. He turns to his wife giving her a kiss on the cheek before helping get drinks for the group. Cassie begins humming along to the song. Nat hums along with her making both girls laugh. Jax leaning down to tuck his head in Nat's neck making Cassie wiggle her eyebrows playfully. Nat gently nudges her taking Jax to the dance floor before beginning to sway. Keith holds out his hand offering a dance that Cass takes. The dance floor begins to fill with everyone as they mingle, laugh and dance the night away.  

A song comes on some time later and the crowd cheers loudly. Cassie looks around confused seeing everyone's attention is drawn to Julio and Naomi. The couple comes forward standing in the middle of the dance floor as everyone clears the room for them.

Cassie can't tear her eyes away from the couple. It's unreal to see how in tune they are. The dance is sensual and sexy. Naomi looked like a goddess while Julio worshipped her. The song continued and the crowd continued watching on completely mesmerized. They were two equals and a beautiful partnership. When the song comes to an end everyone gives a cheer of applause of how beautiful they danced it. Naomi gives a small bow while Julio nods his head. 

Cassie walks off the dance floor followed by Naomi. The sweet woman coming to get a bottle of water. Cassie takes one as well thanking her. They sit down on the stools while another song comes on. She finds Keith asking to dance with Nat and Jackson hesitates before releasing her and walking over to them. 

"Want another beer Jackson?"

"No thank you Naomi, can I have a water?" Naomi nods leaning down to grab another bottle of water before handing it over. All eyes going to the dance floor where Keith is standing to the side talking to some men while Julio dances Talia around the dance floor. 

"Are they close?" Cassie ask Naomi referring to Julio and Nat. 

 Laughter spills from Naomi lips as she laughs. "Oh good lord, they were practically raised together. Julio used to crush on little Talia."

Both Cassie and Jackson snap their heads to her while she nods still looking out to them with a smile. Jackson raises a brow looking back at the smiling woman. 

"And that doesn't bother you?"

Naomi turns to Jackson with a smirk. "Before I came into the picture, Julio had one night where he came home with a broken nose and wrist."

"What happened?!" Cassie says grinning. Naomi's eyes glistening with amusement. 

"He got drunk and tried to make a move on her. Talia punched him so hard he broke his nose. Keith found out and snapped his wrist making him sober up pretty quickly."

Cassie turned back along with Naomi and Jax to them still dancing and smiling. 

"He apologized the following day and all was forgotten." 

"Do you think he still has feelings for her?" Cassie asked still looking outwards. Naomi thought about it for a moment. Jackson was listening intently. 

"I think his feelings will always be what if but Talia never thought anything more of him. I trust my husband and I trust Talia."

Jackson takes a gulp before walking back out to the dance floor. He instantly snatches Natalia's hand making her look to him. He cups her face crashing his lips to hers. The crowd hoots and hollers while Natalia can't help but grin into his lips.
