Nightlara was born on May 1st. The oldest child of Queen Natura and King Nightfire and is the twin of Daylara. Her sisters are Daylara, Zipfire, Sunshine, Chara, Day, Night, Fluttershy, Frisk, and Moonlight. Her brother is Starfire.
She was extremely close to her twin Daylara and her only brother Starfire. They hanged out and played a lot together. however, for an early birthday gift she and Starfire went out into the forest Starfire ran off and Nightlara followed her brother. They saw a shadow in a clearing and Starfire wanted to try and use his magic to get rid of the shadow corruption. They both thought that he could and even if he couldn't she could. so he went. Nightlara got distracted by a small noise behind her and turned back around when Starfire screamed/

"Starfire!? Was that you!?" She asked. She looked at the shadow again and noticed something. The shadow looked like a darker and older version of her little brother

 "Hello, dearest sister of mine, Nightlara. my name is no longer Starfire. It's now Crupter." The shadow hissed at her. It was about to attack her when her mother appeared and scared it off. They went back and did plans. Later they got word that the shadow kingdom was attacked and the kingdom was taken over. Then monsters were sent underground to be safe. One day her mother came in and said that they had to leave for war. Nightlara was already upset not even understanding that Starfire was mostly gone and that monsters were sent to mt. Ebbot to be safe. 

Natura talked to her daughter but Nightlara just yelled at her and said that she hated both her parents. Natura was taken aback a bit but sighed a bit and left. Nightlara's twin was mad and went after Their parents and aunt and uncle. Zipfire, Sunshine, day, and Night went after Daylara for some reason. Nightlara realizes her mistake and went after them and told Chara to help take care of Frisk, Moonlight, and Fluttershy with aunt Celestia and lady opal, lady Alitha, and Lord Winter Haze. Once Nightlara got there she was filled with devastation. She tried to save her siblings who were on the edge of the cliff when it crumbled under them. The rocks crashed not only Nightlara's siblings but Her aunt as well. Her father and uncle were both impaled. Crupter soon noticed Nightlara standing at the top of the cliff to the battlefield and charged after her. Nightlara, being frozen in devastation, stands there. When Crupter was inches away her magic all of a sudden sparked and she somehow banished him for a few years. A few days later Fluttershy and Celestia went back to Equestria and Frisk went to the orphanage and Chara had run away to mt. Ebbot after queen nature dying from her injuries from the battle. Years past and Nightlara got to meet up with her two cousins again, Emily and John fire and she even made friends with Elisabeth who was found two years after the battle and was taken in by Alitha who also took in Nightlara. Gaurdia had run away from her kingdom and her parents agreed that with check-ins, she could stay with Nightlara and them a few years later after Elisabeth was taken in. Years later monsters were freed. The two siblings are still fighting a lot except for maybe one or a few times when he agrees to be good because of a different common enemy or just because he ran out of power temporarily for a bit.
