It has been 2 weeks since the red carpet event.

Fury: "So tell me what has been happening since I've gone" as he sips his black coffee.

Maria: "Well good morning to you Nick" as she slowly makes her way in the kitchen to fix her breakfast and sits down across from him. "First off, how's your other work?"

Fury: "It's been good, the same stuff. You know I rather have you over there than at the flower shop" raises his eyebrow.

Maria: "Someone has to keep it afloat it's a good cover up" she smirks at him.

Fury: "Well what about that assistant guy you have? Jerome or what's his name--- " as he couldn't figure out his name.

Maria: "Sam. I'll think about it but ---" as she eats her food. Loud footsteps make it's way down the stairs.

Clint: "Good morning family! Old man you look great!" Fury grunts. He sits down and picks off Maria's breakfast as she slaps his hand away. "Sharing is caring sis" as he frowns and she rolls her eyes.

Fury: "Clint it's been what 3 years since you came back home. How's Europe and Laura?" Clint eyes widen. Maria looks at Clint. "You know I have my eyes everywhere Francis" he smirks as he reads his newspaper.

Clint: "Uh Europe is great! I can't hide anything from you" he laughs. "Laura is amazing --- as he is interrupted.

Fury: "You better bring both of them here or I'm coming down there" as he gets up to put his cup away.

Maria: "Wait, two... Clinton Francis Barton Fury you have a KID?!" she yells at him. Clint lays his head on the table.

Clint: "Yes" as he mumbles. "It's more like on the way. I was going to tell you all but I thought you guys would be mad, are you gonna finish that?" Maria pushes her plate at him. "I'll tell Nat soon I promise" as he chews on the bacon.

Fury: "So no one wants to tell me how Natasha is doing? I know she just had a red carpet event a couple weeks ago, nobody wants to tell me anything about how her idiotic husband?" He looks at both of them demanding an answer.

Clint: "What? I thought you had eyes everywhere" he mocks as Nick smacks him with the newspaper.

Maria: "Rogers is keeping it on the low, steadily working and so far from my resources he dropped that Sharon bitch" as she chugs her juice.

Fury: "Sounds good but you two continue to watch over each other especially Natasha" he says lowly as he turns around to look at the family photo on the shelf.

Clint: "Yeah we know.. I've been trying to track them and I keep getting dead ends. Maybe they gave up" he shrugs.

Maria: "Well it's been 17 years so maybe" she sighs.

Fury: "Trust me until we close the case it's remains open. Plus I know you both enjoyed those self defense classes and shit as kids so put it to good use" he chuckles. "I'm here for a couple days so arrange a lunch meeting with Natasha and we will do family stuff" as Clint chokes on his food and Maria smacks his bad to help me.

Clint: "You do family time?!" stares at him shocked. Nick walks away to his room. "Man he rarely does family time I wonder what he is up to" he looks at Maria curiously as she shrugs unknowingly sends a text.

Tweet message goes off.

Maria: Our Father is home he wants lunch with all of us...

Clint: It's suspicious!!

Natasha: LOL Clint calm down he's been gone awhile and so have you so it's good for all of us. Just tell me when and where. As she puts her phone away.

May: "Hey Natasha they need you on set" she nods and heads out.

Natasha: "Okay I'll see you tomorrow" as she leaves the building and gets in her car driving to her next destination entering a cafe.

Clint: "Thank goodness you're here" he whispers to her out her chair. She laughs.

Fury: "You look physically and emotionally good" he sips his coffee.

Maria: "Nice way to start a conversation very subtle" shaking her head.

Fury: "You all know I'm not the subtle type" he smirks.

Natasha: "I'm doing great thanks I'm happy we get time together considering everyone doing something except Clint" as she smiles and he frowns.

Clint: "I'm here to visit" as he munches on his food. Maria nudges him in the shin. "Oh yeah, hey Nat how do you feel about being an Aunt?" he asks her.

Natasha: "Wait. What? Maria are you pregnant?!" she yells. Clint bursts out laughing and Nick chuckles.

Maria: "Calm down crazy it isn't me" she rolls her eyes. "It's Mr. Joker here, he has a girlfriend expecting in Europe" Natasha looks around and people are staring as she sits down embarrassed.

Natasha: "Oh, well I thought it would be you since --" Maria clears her throat. "I mean, you know Clint couldn't keep it in his pants and all. When am I meeting my sister-in-law?" she laughs changing her words.

Fury: "I'm too young to be a grandpa. You two better be protected!" shakes his head.

Natasha & Maria: "Nick!!" they whined clearly embarrassed. Clint continues to laugh as they both kicked him in the shin under the table. Clint shouts in pain. Little do they know someone is snapping pictures of them.

Girl: "Looks like she is enjoying lunch out with the family" snapping more pictures.

Boy: "Oh well, just make sure she ---" he was interrupted.

Girl: "Look I know what I'm doing good-bye" hangs up.

Clint: "Hey can you take a picture of us" asking the waiter. He took the picture. "Great thanks" he nods and leaves. Nick phone rings.

Maria: "Well we know what that means" she sighs as her phone goes off as well.

Natasha: "I enjoyed our short time together, we should have dinner --" Maria interrupted her.

Maria: "No worries. I'll schedule everything everyone just show up. I'm needed back at the shop" everyone nods and they part ways. Natasha walks back to her car and someone grabbed her purse and started running.

Natasha: "Are you kidding me?! I just ate!!" she yelled angrily and took off her heels and pursue the thief on foot. He turned around his face surprised as she is catching up and continued running. He then was knocked out by a man.

Man: "You piece of shit, trying to rob a nice lady" he kicked him and grab the purse and handed it to her. "Here I'm sorry this asshole took your purse"

Natasha: "Thank you, I would have caught him" she breathes.

Man: "Whoa, you're --" his eyes widen.

Natasha: "Natasha" she sticks her hand out for a handshake smiling at him.

Man: "I know who you are.. it's just your more beautiful in person" she blushes and clears her throat. "Oh my name is Brock" he smiles shaking her hand. "Anyways, how could you run that fast without shoes? Doesn't your feet hurt?" raising his brow.

Natasha: "I was in track, it doesn't hurt as bad" she laughs.

Brock: "Well you sure are athletic, let me walk you back to make sure you aren't mugged again" he offers. She nods. As they walked back they began chatting away.

Natasha: "Thank you for walking me back to my car" as she grabs her heels and put them in her car.

Brock: "No problem, couldn't let a beautiful lady be in distress" he smirks.

Natasha: "I am glad you helped, but let me repay you with a lunch?" He shakes his head.

Brock: "How about dinner tonight? You get to choose, here's my number" hands her his card.

Natasha: "An auto body shop mechanic?" she reads the card. He hums in agreement. "Okay well I'll see you tonight for dinner" she smiles and gets in her car and drives off as he waves good-bye. Little did Natasha know Brock had a devious plan in mind that could ruin Natasha's life.
