As she watched him fall in the darkness screaming his name and nothing but silence.

Natasha: "STEVE NO!!!" yelled as she grabbed her backpack and continued running down the path reaching to the level location he could possibly be located. "Steve where are you?!" searching for him to no avail. (Please be alright) she prayed. She then went deeper into the forest and saw him lying on his side clearly unconscious. She dead sprinted towards him and shook him lightly and put her head on his heart to listen for a beat it was faint but he was alive. "Steve, thank goodness your alive" looking around to see if there was any shelter near by. Luckily she saw a cave 75 ft from them as she drags him inside. She quickly makes a fire and unpack whatever she could use. He groans in pain as he mumbles her name.

Steve: "My leg..." he clutches it yelping in pain. Natasha rips his torn pant leg revealing blood seeping out the wound. Quickly remembering she took first aid in high school and started patching his leg up with the kit making a splint to hold his leg steady and gave him some medicine for pain. The rain didn't let up one bit.

Natasha: "I guess we are stuck here for the night:" sighing as she rummages through her backpack and found some food and a sealed bag of clothes. "Someone came prepared" as she looked at Steve who was asleep. She changed out of her wet clothes and assisted Steve leaving him in his boxers. Sitting in the cave as the fire kept them warm, she slowly drifted to sleep.

~Steve dream~

Foreseeing the last event of him falling into the darkness as he sees her distraught face shouting his name.

Steve: "NATASHA!!" he yelled waking up abruptly as he soon felt pain in his leg.

Natasha: "I'm here Steve what's wrong?" she came up to him feeling his forehead. Steve was breathing heavily as she told him to take slow deep breathes. He calmed down and pulled her into a hug. "Are you okay Rogers?"

Steve: "I thought I lost you" he mumbled in her hair.

Natasha: "Me too" as she rubbed his back as they sat in silence. "Are you hungry?" he nods. "I found some stuff in our bags and I'm surprised you're so prepared" she laughs as she hands him an MRE and some water. Steve begins to open the packages clearly struggling to get it open due to his limited leg movement. Natasha takes it and helps him.

Steve: "Thanks" smiles at her and geins to eat after 20 minutes of silence. "So, I seem to have survive a 150 ft drop" he jokes as she lightly smiles. "Come on Nat, all that matters is you're okay and well besides this injury I'm alive" assuring her.

Natasha: "Yeah...glad you're alive I was worried" she wipes her tears away. Steve motions her to sit next to him as she did. He put his arm around her and laid her head on chest.

Steve: "Doesn't seem like the storm isn't letting up anytime soon" looking at the entrance of the cave. "We are just gonna have to wait until tomorrow" he sighs.

Natasha: "Yeah we have to wait it out and get you to a real medic, I did what I could" as they looked at his leg. He laughs. "What's so funny Rogers?"

Steve: "Nothing, I am lucky to have you. Thanks Nat" he kissed her head. "Let's sleep I'm sure we are both exhausted, she nodded and they both fell asleep in each others arms.
