The Sound nin vs The Leaf nin

Sakura's POV
The four days for the first test had already ended, thirteen ninja's had died from this exam and only three of them were from Konoha. I was glad that my friends had made it, but my heart says otherwise. I felt sorry for the families that lost their children in this exam. Sighing, I looked around the building to see the same sound nins that attacked me. They spotted me looking at them and glared at me. I glared back effortlessly. The man, whose arms I had broken were fixed, I tched and gave him a death glare.

He glared back and I was then, pulled away by someone quickly, into the really dim hallway. I struggled and almost elbow the person in the stomach but the familiar warmth stopped me. "Sakura...calm down yet my blossom?" A deep voice asked and a gentle kiss was placed on my cheeks. "Itachi." I breathed, tippy toeing, I wrapped my arms his neck neck, his frame clouded over mine he gave me another peck on the cheeks. "What are you doing here? What about your mission?" I asked him. "Can I not see my precious blossom after my mission?" He asked with a fake pout.

I giggled and kissed his nose. "Of course you can, but I'm doing my chunin exams right now...so..." I went off. Itachi chuckled and gave me one last embrace and kiss on the cheeks before pulling away. "I'll be waiting for you when you finish your exam my blossom." Itachi smirked before disappearing into a puff of smoke. I rolled my eyes but smiled to myself before walking out the hallway to my team.

"Saku-chan,isn't that-" Hinata questioned when she spotted the team that attacked us. "Yes, and somehow, they were able to get that man's arm's healed before this part of the exam." I growled and glared at him. "Come on, Sakura-chan, let's go meet up with the others up there." Naruto pointed out to the ramps above the set up field, walking up there, we met up Hinata, Tenten and Temari with their team mates. We laughed when we saw Karin approaching us and trying to hug Sasuke's arm.

"Give it up, Karin. He doesn't seem interested." Ino laughed. Karin just put a scowl on her face and glared at us, shrugging, we turned our attention to the puff of smoke that appeared on the battlefield. It was the the jonin, Hayate, our next examiner. *Cough! Cough!* "Ok everyone *Cough!* Please settle down, the next part of the exam is about to start." He called out. We all slowly quieted down. Hayate coughed once again before he summoned a scroll. "The other examiners have already  decided who you are to battle...as most of you know, winners will proceed to the last round and losers will have to wait till next year to do the chunin exams in Suna." Hayate sighed before coughing once again.

Another poof was heard and we all turned to see a board appeared above us and it showed the first pairs that were going to battle each other. My eyes zoomed through the list to the eleventh pair.

Haruno Sakura vs Kinuta Dosu

I looked around the room to find the Dosu person. Then my gaze was locked on to the man from before. Was he Dosu? He glared at me before walking away. "Is that Kinuta Dosu?" I asked sensei. He glanced at him before nodding. "Be careful Sakura." Sensei said before patting my shoulder. "Sakura-chan! You're one of the first pairs that are battling out of all of us." Naruto exclaimed and gestured to the others. Ino, Hinata and Tenten, looked at me confused. "Who's Dosu?" She asked. "The matches will now begin!" Hayate called.

Walking over to the girls, I whispered, "He's the one that attacked us." I told them. "Can I hear?" We turned to see Temari. "Well...you promise you won't tell?" Ino asked her. She hesitantly nodded. "Dosu is the guy and his team who injured Sakura when they attacked us for our scrolls." Tenten whispered in her ears. Temari's instantly widened. "You better beat him to a pulp, Saku-chan!" Temari exclaimed and hugged us.

Normal POV
Little did the girls' know, the boys were watching from afar and was curiously wondering what they were talking about. The girls' had glanced up to meet the boy's gaze before back down and whispering a few things before laughing and giggling. "Oi, teme, do you know what they are talking about that's so funny?" Naruto asked clueless. Sasuke smacked him across the head. "That's for them to know and us to find out, dobe." He said like nothing happened. Shikamaru sweat dropped and sighed the two idiots.

"Uh...guys, are you gonna just fight or watch the matches?" Choji asked. "Obviously watch!" They both yelled in unison, making the boys except Gaara sigh and sweat dropped. Turning back to watch the second match that had started while the two idiots were fighting, it was a lightning ninja against stone ninja. The only thing that they were doing were clashing their weapons. "What are they doing?! Is this match just going to go like this?" Naruto groaned and fell backwards onto the metal floor and groaned boringly.

"Lighting style; Lion's roar!" The lightning ninja called out and did some hand signs. "Stone style; Stone cave!" The stone ninja called and protected himself from the lightning roar that came from the cloud figured lion on top. Naruto sat up from a sound of a boom and starting watching the match again. "Meh, at least it's becoming a little bit more interesting." Naruto shrugged. Sakura climbed onto the fence and sat there watching, Tenten and Ino joined her as Temari and Hinata leaned onto the bar and watched the match together.

Sakura looked up from the match and narrowed her eyes at Dosu, he was watching the match but had taking a few glances to watch Sakura and her moves. Once he made eye contact and was caught by her, she smirked at him before looking back down at the match that had almost finished. The lightning ninja was on the ground panting and about to pass out while the stone ninja was ran behind him and knock him out. Claps were heard and the next match started  after the knocked out ninja was out of the battle grounds.

-/ To Dosu and Sakura's round -\

"Next match! Haruno Sakura against Kinuta Dosu!" Hayate called out. Dosu jumped off the metal floor and onto the battlefield while Sakura just stood there smiling at him. "What are you waiting for?" Dosu asked and everyone looked at Sakura. "Hayate-san never said that there was a certain perimeter we had to keep in....so... I'm just going to sit here for now." Sakura chuckled. Knowing what Sakura ment, the girls backed away from that area and towards the boys before the match started. *Cough! Cough!* "Well... Start!" He yelled and coughed before jumping onto the that hands behind him.

Dosu lifted up his arm and shot a sound wave a Sakura. It hit her, but her body turned into wood. A substitution jutsu. "You know, Dosu...you are a sound ninja....but then again, do you know where my voice is coming from?" Sakura's voice echoed through the entire building. As a sound ninja, he was able to detect sound waves and where the sounds usually come from. But Sakura had came prepared like always, she had her clones set up the voice recorders around the building to confuse him when no one was looking, now all she had to do was either knock him out or break his arms before knocking him out.

She knew she couldn't sneak up on him since his team was also looking for her through the crowd. Smirking, an idea popped into her mind as Hayate disappeared for a little, she teleported herself to where he was after she transformed into him and put earplugs in. She started to fake cough and jumped down from the hand. Dosu paid no attention to her transformed figure and she took the chance to appear behind him and hold her katana to his throat. Gasps were heard.

"What's the examiner doing?!" Lee freaked out while the other boys looked down at the battlefield shocked. Naruto and Sasuke chuckled, "That's not our examiner, Hayate." Naruto snickered. "That's Sakura, anyone could tell if she was going to pull a trick of her's like that. The first time she did that was when she fooled us using sensei's appearance and made us chase her around the whole village a couple of times, before she revealed herself and explained to us about chakra storage." Sasuke sighed and remember how every time, his was to reach for the fake bells, she would jump up the tree and give them a eyed smile.

Sakura released the jutsu and right after, Hayate appeared coughing before looking at the two wide eyes. It hadn't even been a total of four minutes into their match. "Are you going to give up, Dosu? Or do I have to break your arms again?" She gave a fake smiled and tilted her head to look at him. "Again? What do she mean again?" Naruto asked confused. Dosu lifted his arm backwards and shot out another sound wave that missed Sakura and hit the wall, leaving a dent in it. "The hard way it is." Sakura said as he escaped. He jumped back a few times before lifting both his arms and casting out louder and stronger sound waves that went faster.

Sakura dodged the best way she could and ran at him before jumping up and lifting a leg and infusing chakra into it. Bringing it down fast, Dosu jumped away quickly, dodging her sudden attack. There was enormous crash and dust lifted from ground covering where she was. As the dust parted, Dosu looked at her shocked. She was standing in the hole she made with one kick. The ground had split apart and she looked at him smirking. "Was that all you got, Dosu?" She asked. "Ok....where the heck did she learn that?!" Naruto exclaimed. "You baka, didn't you remember what Kakashi-sensei said?" Sasuke smacked him once again across the head.

"Itte! Teme, what did you do that for?!" Naruto yelled and rubbed his head. "Sensei had said that she had the best chakra control out of the three of us." Sasuke continued, completely ignoring Naruto. "Correct, Sasuke, thank you for actually listening to me, unlike Naruto." Kakashi pointed out and chuckled while Naruto yelled.

Another boom went off and the boys sweat dropped as Sakura made another hole in the ground, this time with her fist. The girls just laughed and watched as Dosu attempted to dodge her critical hits. "Are you gonna just keep punching and kicking like that?!" He yelled. "Are you just going to dodge and cast your sound waves that keeps missing?!" Sakura fired back. "Ooh, burn!" Ino laughed after the comeback that Sakura made. Dosu glared at her which only made her stick her tongue out at him childishly. "Oi! Eyes on me, you sound nin!" Sakura yelled and kicked Dosu, sending him flying into the metal wall, a huge dent was made and Dosu passed out from the attack he received.

"Winner! Haruno Sakura!" Hayate called and started coughing again. Sakura's eyes softened and she went over to him. "Can you have someone substitute for you, let me check on your throat and lungs." Sakura asked. He looked at her shocked before nodding and disappearing after she told him to meet in the medical room here. "I'm going to run an errand, I'll be right back!" Sakura called out to the girls before the boys. She teleported to the medical room and leaned on the wall waiting for his arrival. A swirl of leaves appeared before Hayate appeared and sat on the bed coughing.
