To die, or not to die
Me: *rereads title* this'll freak people out.
Me: *shruggs* oh well. Oh, guys, check out the video. I'm warning you, though, it made me a crazy, sobbing mess on my bedroom floor, which is why I am writing right now.
ANYWAY, onto what you really came for!!!!
Sasuke hated everything that had happened in the past few days. Every little thing. He wanted his life to be back to normal, the bliss of not knowing that his brother was not only a truly amazing person, but that he was dying. It nearly killed him to see Itachi's pale, lifeless face in his room. Izumi, Hinata and Sakura made sure that he was comfortable 24/7, and Boruto and Sarada visited every twenty or so minutes when they got bored.
Sasuke? Sasuke stayed in Itachi's room 24/7, making Sakura worry about him constantly.
"He was always there for me." Sasuke had insisted. "It's the least I can do, Sakura."
She nodded, worried, but went with it. She brought Sasuke breakfast, lunch and dinner, and offered to keep an eye on Itachi for him, switch places while he takes a nap.
He almost excepted her offer.
Almost.
"I'm staying with him, Sakura." He declared. "And there is nothing you can do to stop me."
While he sat, he reflected on his life. Now that he thought about it, what an idiot he was. Itachi had always been there, no matter what. There was no way that that sweet, fun-loving Uchiha had turned into a monster like that over night. It was absolutely impossible. Maybe my older self is right. I am an idiot. How could I have so little faith in my own brother... and he's always believed in me... I'm a horrible person.
Sasuke watched his brother, wanting to talk to him, the way he used to. He would pour out his heart to Itachi, and Itachi would always listen, give advice... now ol' nii-san is on his deathbed.
"Nii-san, watch me!!!" Young Sasuke grinned, standing up on the rock confidently.
"Sasuke! No, Sasuke!!!! Don't jump off tha--" Itachi's eyes widened as Sasuke backflipped off the giant rock he used to train. The problem was that he miscalculated and ended up hitting his head hard on the rock. "Sasuke..." he muttered, picking up the crying little boy. "Why do you hurt yourself like this?"
Sasuke sniffled. "Sorry, nii-san." He rubbed his head through the duckbutt hair and winced.
Itachi's expression softened. "Where does it hurt, otouto?" He asked, concerned.
Sasuke took one of Itachi's hands and guided it to a spot on his head. He pressed it, ignoring the pain that shot through his head. "Here." He sniffled again, letting go of Itachi's hand.
Itachi felt the bump, then smiled and nodded. "It's a big one, but you should be fine. Now, you can let me use the little medical-ninjutsu I have, or just suck it up."
Sasuke frowned. His head really hurt, but at the same time, this was Itachi. He couldn't be a baby in front of his elder brother! "I'll suck it up." He nodded decisively, and smirked.
Itachi smiled widely and ruffled his hair, being extra careful of the bump Sasuke had. "Good shinobi have excellent pain tolerance. You will be a great shinobi." He said.
"You really think so, nii-san?!" Sasuke shouted excitedly.
"I do." Itachi nodded, an almost sad look crossing his eyes. "Just like me. Just like you always say you want to be like me. I've got to go soon, but it was fun hanging out with you, little brother." Itachi ruffled the kid's hair again, then knelt to his height. "Take care. Don't hurt yourself anymore, Got it?" He poked Sasuke on the forehead, to which he winced and pouted.
"Got it..." Sasuke grumbled, pouting. Nii-san never wanted to play with him anymore. When he did, it was only for a short time, too. "Great."
Itachi tilted his head to the side and gave that smile that Sasuke noticed melted all the girls Itachi's age. "See you later, Sasuke." He waved and turned around, ponytail swinging.
Sasuke pouted until Itachi was out of view, then broke into a grin. "Bye, nii-san."
"Sasuke." Someone said, snapping the young Uchiha awake. He blinked a few times, then realized he'd fallen asleep during that memory. Then he looked up at the person who'd woken him up. Great, it was Naruto. What did the Dobe want with him?
"What is it, ursuratonkachi?" He mumbled, resisting the urge to fall back asleep. That would be extreme teasing material.
"You have got to come see this." Naruto sighed, leading the way out of the room.
Sasuke looked at Itachi. Something was off, Naruto hadn't dragged him out or anything. "Sorry, nii-san, gotta go real quick. I'll be back soon." He promised, then followed his blonde friend out the door.
"What do you want, Naruto?" He asked when Naruto, who'd been waiting for him, turned around and began walking. Sasuke followed his silent friend with a frown on his face. Naruto was never this quiet. "Is something wrong? Is it Sakura? Is it Sarada? Kakashi? Itachi? Tsunade? Who?"
"No, I don't know what to think about it yet. For now, just do what you've been doing." Naruto replied.
Something's not right here. Sasuke thought. "Naruto, where are you taking me?" He asked, when Naruto led the way outside.
"To train." Naruto replied curtly. "I think all that Itachi-sitting has gotten to your skills." But there was no telltale 'dattebayo' after that. No closed-eyed grin, no hands behind his head, no cheerful attitude.
Sasuke drew his sword and glared at the intruder. "Who are you and what have you done with Naruto."
The intruder chuckled. It sounded weird coming from Naruto. "Apparently, the rumors about you during your youth was true. You are a very talented shinobi."
Sasuke was at 'Naruto''s throat in an instant. "Who are you, and where is the real Naruto?!" He scowled through gritted teeth.
"Can you fight me?" The imposter asked. "I want to see your talent. It's fabled that the Uchiha Brothers had extreme talent."
"What's it to you?!" Tightening the sword on the imposter Naruto's neck. "Who are you? This is the last time I will ask civily." He tightened it to where it drew blood. The imposter hissed, and actually sounded like a snake.
"PAPA!" Sarada shouted from the house, catching Sasuke slightly off guard, but he kept the sword tight on the imposter's neck. "Don't kill him yet!!!"
Boruto shouldered past her, then his eyes widened in awe. "Mitsuki, is that you?!"
The imposter poofed, and in a matter of seconds was no longer Naruto, in fact, he was a few inches shorter. Blue hair and skin, strange eyes, and a dark blue and light blue outfit. The sleeves went further than his arms, and he was wearing a Konoha headband and wearing standard shinobi shoes.
"Mitsuki!!!" Sarada squealed and jumped into the kid's arms. Sasuke narrowed his eyes, especially as the kid chuckled and hugged back. "I'm so happy you're here!"
"Mitsuki, my man!" Boruto went over and grabbed Mitsuki's hand in that weird 'hug-thing boys do' according to Sarada when Sasuke asked later. "Welcome to the party!!"
"It seems I'm late," the boy, Mitsuki said with a closed-eyed smile.
"Better late than never!" Sarada exclaimed, hugging the boy tighter. "Dang, Mitsuki, we missed you."
Boruto's face folded into a frown. He gently pulled Sarada away from Mitsuki. "Let the poor guy breathe!" He told her, fake laughing. No one else noticed, Sarada and Mitsuki were catching up, but Sasuke saw it. His eyes narrowed.
Oh no no no no no. He chanted in his head. Please no, please no.
Boruto grabbed Sarada's hand gently and pulled Mitsuki's sleeve roughly. "C'mon, let's go see mom, Uncle Sasuke, dad and Aunt Sakura!"
And with that Sasuke was certain.
The dobe's son had a crush on his daughter.

"We need to have a talk." Naruto looked at his friend blankly. Sasuke had come inside with wide eyes and gasping hard.
"About what?" Naruto asked skeptically.
"--so I thought since we were in the past, and my parent said that Sasuke-san was evil, that Sasuke-san had kidnapped Boruto and Sarada." The strange, blue, snake-eyed boy continued. "And I thought OLDER Sasuke-san, Nanadaime-san, Aunt Sakura and Aunt Hinata had gotten lost in time somewhere, so I was going to go find my parent next, and we were going to find them."
Sakura hugged the boy tightly. "How did you get here, Mitsuki?! Isn't your parent worried?!"
"Is Chocho here too?!" Sarada asked excitedly.
"No, Chocho's mother came and said she couldn't come with me. Shikadai explained to me how to do this, and Inojin gave me a bird drawing to use when I got here to find you quickly." Mitsuki explained.
"But Mitsuki, how did you get here?" Older Sasuke asked. "You need to tell us, so we can get out without having to use my Rinnegan."
"A scroll, I think." Mitsuki reached into his pocket. "It appears that it is gone now."
Boruto cursed. "That's what happened to us too, and then we just wandered around for awhile until we came across younger Uncle Sasuke and Uncle Itachi fighting." He shrugged. "Sarada stopped them, and I helped a little."
"Itachi kept complimenting her and calling me stupid." Younger Sasuke frowned. "It seems that he liked her even before he knew that she was his niece."
Older Sasuke chuckled. "That's Itachi for you."
Mitsuki frowned. "Itachi Uchiha? Am I correct in thinking that he died?"
"He was supposed to." Sarada explained. "Papa was going to kill him, but I stopped him just in time."
Sasuke pouted. "No need to brag."
"I'm not bragging!" Sarada protested. "You're just salty because you were beaten by a girl."
"Shut up!"
"YOU SHUT UP, SHANNAROO!"
"YOU SHUT UP, YOU LITTLE BRAT!"
"BOTH OF YOU SHUT UP, BEFORE I KNOCK YOU BOTH TO KAMI AND BACK!" Older Sakura shouted, shutting up the fighting family. "Now, Sarada, what have I taught you about respecting your father!?"
"The older one is SOOO much easier to respect." Sarada grumbled, making Older Sasuke smirk at his younger self in satisfaction.
"Still." Sakura said. "And Sasuke, there is no need to be a little bïtch about things. Am I clear?"
"Yes, Sakura." Sasuke mumbled.
"Yes mama." Sarada said.
The group sank into silence.
"SARADA LIKES TOMATOES!" Sasuke called out. Everyone gasped and turned to Sarada.
"SASUKE HATES TOMATOES!" Sarada countered. Everyone gaped and turned back to Sasuke.
"SARADA WAS SPYING ON ITACHI AND IZUMI!" Sasuke shouted, turning the attention back to Sarada. Sarada scowled.
"Oh yeah? Two can play at that game." She muttered to her younger dad. "SASUKE STALKS SAKURA WHEN HE IS IN KONOHA!!!" Plenty of people gasped, but Naruto didn't seem surprised.
"Called it..." He whispered to Kakashi. "That'll be 30 ryo, sensei." Kakashi groaned and payed up.
"SARADA PLAYS WITH DOLLS!!!" Sasuke smirked. Everyone was shocked. Sarada glared at him. He's been lying....
"SASUKE SUCKS HIS THUMB WHEN HE SLEEPS!!" Sarada shouted, making Izumi and Sakura exchange glances and giggle. So it was true then? Sarada giggled too.
Sasuke turned bright red, and that was when Sarada knew she was screwed. "SARADA IS DATING BORUTO!!!"
The atmosphere in the room changed in an instant. It was like someone had flipped a switch. Boruto and Sarada sat there blushing, too embarrassed even to protest, while Older Sasuke and Older Naruto's heads slowly turned in a threatening way over to Boruto.
Sakura and Hinata, Izumi, Shizune and their younger selves began quietly fangirling so they wouldn't be heard by the upset fathers. Mitsuki sat there with a smug smile on his face, chanting 'i knew it, i knew it, i knew it' over and over in his head. Tsunade looked at Boruto, then whistled.
"You are so finished..." She leaned in and whispered to Boruto. "I almost feel bad for you."
"You have a death wish, brat." Sasuke hissed, which ended up more scary than if he had yelled it. "I will beat you to a pulp, make Sakura heal you, then BEAT you again! That cycle will continue until I am absolutely satisfied." Boruto was shivering, the poor boy was so terrified, he was about ready to run outside and drown himself in the lake.
"BORUTO. UZUMAKI." Naruto was enraged. "WHY ARE YOU DATING MY FAVORITE NIECE?!" The blonde Hokage was almost going Kyuubi mode, which was also terrifying. "My favorite. Niece."
Boruto looked to Sarada. "Please save me." Sarada, who was actually looking amused, decided that she would save her 'boyfriend'.
"Sorry to disappoint you, papa, Uncle Naruto, but Boruto and I aren't dating." She chuckled.
"Uh huh." A familiar voice said, sounding skeptical. "If you're lying, Sarada, your boyfriend goes up in Amaterasu."
Sarada stared in awe. "Uncle Itachi."
